However, this transformation in social dynamics has given rise to concerns about the psychological well-being of individuals, particularly in the context of loneliness. This research delves into the intricate relationship between social media usage and loneliness in China. It explores the factors that contribute to loneliness, such as excessive use, superficial online interactions, social comparison, and the fear of missing out. While social media offers opportunities for connection, it also poses challenges, which this study seeks to address. The research highlights effective coping mechanisms and the role of social support in mitigating loneliness. Moreover, it underscores the importance of mental health education and a balanced, mindful approach to social media usage. By understanding the digital landscape’s influence on loneliness, this research aims to provide insights that foster healthier and more fulfilling online interactions.","PeriodicalId":290088,"journal":{"name":"Studies in Psychological Science","volume":" 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138617080","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Little characters have an inherent commonplace nature that easily resonates with the audiences, but also usually have a tendency to get trapped in the description of the grueling daily grind. Therefore, the key is how to break through the insignificance of their roles to shape the little people’ personality charm in films. Ode to My Father, a Korean film for “millions of viewers”, successfully created a heroic little protagonist, following the framework of a hero’s journey with a plot of departure, enlightenment and return. Under the mask of the “elder” personality, this character reaches his self-reconciliation and completes the journey of individuation after a gradual self-awakening and valiantly confrontation with his inner shadows. Furthermore, this technique definitely provides an inspiration for the characterization of little characters.","PeriodicalId":290088,"journal":{"name":"Studies in Psychological Science","volume":"103 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115488520","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is characterized by age-inappropriate attention deficit, behavioral hyperactivity and emotional impulsivity, and even accompanied by cognitive impairment. The exact cause of the disease is still unclear. It is generally believed that the incidence is the result of the combined action of biological factors, environmental factors and psychological factors. Therefore, the treatment of ADHD children should take into account multiple factors, various stereoscopic and comprehensive interventions. This review aims to examine the positive and negative effects of technology on children’s behavior and emphasize the crucial role of moderation and digital detoxification. By conducting a thorough literature review of recent research and studies, this review identifies key areas of concern and recommends best practices for parents and educators. The findings of the review suggest that excessive use of technology can have detrimental effects on a child’s physical health, social skills, academic performance, and mental well-being. However, when used appropriately, technology can provide valuable opportunities for learning, socialization, and entertainment. The review presents several examples of best practices, including setting boundaries on screen time, encouraging outdoor play and physical activity, fostering social interaction, and modeling healthy technology use behaviors. Given the fast pace of technological development and its increasing prevalence in daily life, it is more important than ever for parents and educators to prioritize moderation and digital detoxification practices in children’s routines. By adopting a proactive approach to technology use and emphasizing healthy technology habits, we can promote positive behavior and encourage children to develop balanced and responsible relationships with technology. Overall, this review underscores the need for parents and educators to understand the impacts of technology on children’s behavior and take effective actions to cultivate healthy habits.","PeriodicalId":290088,"journal":{"name":"Studies in Psychological Science","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115240830","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
