It is done because lowland rice plants’ production does not meet the expectations; the low productivity of lowland rice plants is 61.35 kW/ha/th/GKP. The study aims to describe the level of participation of farmers in seed treatment, analyze factors related to farmers' participation in seed treatment, and develop strategies to increase farmer participation. The study was conducted from April to July 2019 in Tambaksari District, Ciamis Regency, West Java. The target is farmers who are members of the farmer group with the commodity paddy. The total respondents were 71 farmers. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews with closed questionnaires and direct observation. Descriptive analysis is used to describe the level of farmer participation, while correlation analysis is used to find out factors related to farmer participation. Paddy farmers' involvement in seed treatment activities is included in the \"medium\" category. Factors related to farmers' participation in seed treatment are the government's willingness, ability, and support and the availability of agricultural production facilities. Need to be done: increasing the intensity of extension activities, training in how to give treatment to lowland rice seeds, making seed selection, and measuring soil pH to achieve the goal of improving the quality of rice field seedlings and more optimal plant development. The efforts of farmers in Maja District to deal with these pests are still low and depend on the use of chemical pesticides. The behaviour of farmers is influenced by the perception of farmers who consider chemical pesticides to be the main solution in controlling plant-disturbing organisms. Innovations in pest control can be carried out with preventive measures such as the use of pheromone that trap and disrupt pest mating and plant-based insecticides that are more environmentally friendly. The study aims to analyze the perception of sweet potato farmers on controlling sweet potato weevil pests through the use of pheromones and neem leaf vegetable insecticides, related factors and strategies that can be done in increasing farmers' perceptions. The results of descriptive analysis of 72 sample respondents can be seen that the perception of sweet potato farmers in Maja District on the use of pheromones and neem leaf vegetable insecticides in controlling sweet potato weevil pests is in the poor category with a value of 49.9%. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah penurunan kualitas lahan akibat kurang positifnya persepsi petani terhadap penerapan teknologi konservasi lahan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi petani terhadap penerapan teknologi konservasi lahan pada budidaya padi sawah, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi persepsi petani, serta merumuskan strategi penyuluhan agar petani memiliki persepsi positif terhadap penerapan teknologi konservasi lahan. Metode penelitian adalah analisis deskriptif dan faktorial. Berdasarkan hasil pengkajian pada 60 responden, menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar persepsi petani secara umum adalah netral yaitu penerapan teknologi konservasi lahan memiliki keuntungan terhadap lingkungan namun tidak secara ekonomi dan belum sesuai dengan kebiasaan petani. Faktor-faktor yang secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap persepsi petani terdiri atas tingkat pendidikan, peran kelompok tani dan peran penyuluh. Pertumbuhan produksi daging sapi (supply) dalam negeri selama 2005-2013 terus meningkat, namun belum mampu mengimbangi laju permintaan (demand) sehingga diperlukan impor. Oleh karenanya perlu adanya sistem pemeliharaan sapi potong secara intensif melalui agribisnis penggemukan sapi potong yang baik (good farming practice). Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, maka tujuan yang hendak dicapai ialah : 1). Mengidentifikasi tingkat perubahan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan peternak. 2). Menganalisis usaha tani dalam kaji terap GFP dan aplikasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan cara pengambilan data melalui metode wawancara melalui kuesioner terstruktur dari 30 responden. analisis data menggunakan analisis penyuluhan (rumus Padmowihardjo,1999), dan analisis Usaha (perhitungan tingkat pendapatan). Kaji terap dilaksanakan selama 40 hari di Kelompoktani Gentra Pusaka Tunas Muda, yang terdiri dari 3 perlakuan yaitu kontrol (P0) penggemukan sapi secara tradisional. Perlakuan kedua (P1) penggemukan sapi dengan GFP. Sedangkan perlakuan ketiga (P2) yakni peternak menerapkan GFP + Aplikasi Sidik Peternakan. Evaluasi pelaksanaan penyuluhan diperoleh hasil : Terjadi perubahan pengetahuan sebesar cukup berhasil 39,58 %, keterampilan cukup berhasil 37,39 %, dan sikap cukup berhasil 41,39%. Analisis Usaha diperoleh hasil P0 = Rp.1.214.400,00, P1 = Rp.1.376.600,00, dan P2 = Rp.1.571.000,00. The problem faced is that the knowledge of housewives about agricultural cultivation techniques is still low, so it is necessary to empower for the use of yard land. This research aims to (1) describe empowerment (2) analyze the factors that influence empowerment (3) develop a strategy for empowering women farmer group members through optimizing sustainable food yards. The research was conducted in Palimanan District, Cirebon Regency, starting from April to July 2021. The entire population of this research was 53 people spread over 3 selected villages. Data were analyzed descriptively and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the empowerment of women farmer groups in Palimanan District was in the moderate category. Factors that influence the empowerment of women's farmer groups are age, function of women's farmer groups, support for extension services, and environmental support. The existence of a business innovation that is a source of additional income for the community that should make the community support it by participating in advancing Tegalwaru Village as a village center for SMEs in Bogor. The aims of this study are 1) to describe the people of Tegalwaru Village, 2) to explain the community's perception of the Tegalwaru Tourism Village, 3) to analyze the factors related to the community's perception of the Tegalwaru Tourism Village. The research approach uses quantitative with the census method. Methods of data collection by distributing questionnaires, interviews and observations. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential analysis (Spearman rank correlation). The purpose of this empowerment activity is to help the owner so that his business increases and the community becomes more productive by carrying out empowerment activities. There are 4 activities in the empowerment of passion fruit syrup, namely: 1) Seeing potential problems, 2) Planning activities, 3) Carrying out empowerment activities, 4) Program evaluation, 5) Analyzing supporting and inhibiting factors. The method used is a qualitative approach, with interviews, observations, and documentation, and uses triangulation techniques. There are 5 participants in this activity, 3 housewives, and 2 residents who have not worked (unemployed). The results of this study are to see that the potential in this village has a fairly large plantation area of 1,760,000 hectares and has cool air and high rainfall which is very suitable for cultivating passion fruit, the intended location is the passion fruit syrup home industry owned one of the farmers who uses his land to cultivate passion fruit into passion fruit syrup and can open job vacancies for the community. Planning and implementation in this activity was carried out in 4 meetings. This activity is carried out at the home of the business owner, every Sunday, at 12.30-15.30. In the evaluation of passion fruit syrup community empowerment activities, it has shown a positive impact for participants, this can be seen from the good response of all participants in the empowerment process. The supporting factors in this activity are qualified human resources, as well as production tools and materials provided by the business owner, and the inhibiting factor in this activity is the erratic growth of passion fruit. In Ciamis Regency the agricultural sector is still the driving wheel of the economy, so its influence on the rate of economic growth is very significant. This condition also illustrates that the government of Ciamis Regency is still \"concerned\" about developing the potential of the agricultural sector (BPS Ciamis, 2019). Cipaku District has a land area of 6.569 hectares consisting of dry land and paddy fields. Dry land has the potential to be developed as a vegetable production center of 42% which is divided into plots and gardens / fields (Programa Cipaku District, 2019). However, the interest of the younger generation / youth to cultivate the land is very small, this is due to perceptions about farming activities and the very bleak fate of farmers.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â In addition, the population working in the agricultural sector is very limited both the main actors and business actors. Especially for the horticulture sector, the role of the main actors was 1,098 (11.7%) and business actors were only 164 people (1.7%). This condition has an impact on the sustainability of farming in the District of Cipaku, because it actually depends on the interests of the young people to continue the profession of their parents. The purpose of this study is to describe the interests of farmer farmers, analyze related factors and strategies to increase the interests of young farmers. The analysis shows that the interest of young farmers in seasonal vegetable farming is high, and related factors are the source of information, extension activities and government support.
