However, little empirical evidence is available on the behavior of non-financial measures. Using 2 year data from 78 state owned enterprises, this study provides evidence on the relationship between non-financial measures and financial performance. The results indicate that non-financial measure, customer satisfaction, is significantly associated with contemporary and future financial performance. Furthermore, high level customer satisfaction enterprises get higher profitability by increasing unit profit other than enlarging sales.","PeriodicalId":287881,"journal":{"name":"2009 6th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125530927","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our study shows that consumers' RSEPB includes three main factors: purchase factor, use factor, and recycle factor. According to these three factors, we can divide consumers into four clusters: non-RSEP consumers, RSEP recyclers, RSEP users, and RSEP consumers. These four clusters differ in age, income, and occupation. These conclusions provide some implications for public policy related.","PeriodicalId":287881,"journal":{"name":"2009 6th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125325089","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The result shows the growth rate of agricultural production value fell 0.1121% per year on average because of the shortage of water resource. The number is seemingly small, but according to calculation, under the drag of water resource, the ratio will be reduced by 2.66% in 2030. Traditional research in automated negotiation is focused on theory about negotiation protocol and strategy. However, the application of automated negotiation system has lagged far behind. This paper discusses the reason for such a situation, and proposes a technology roadmap for the development of automated negotiation system using the software agent technology. In order to find a way to the applicable application of the system, this paper proposes an application architecture based on SOA and web services technology.","PeriodicalId":287881,"journal":{"name":"2009 6th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121753782","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we use a game theory approach to investigate this issue; and we explore how to coordinate supply chain by sharing revenue under free riding. Our results show that both the manufacturer and the retailer benefit from the revenue-sharing strategy because of the incremental profit gains generated by the channel coordination.","PeriodicalId":287881,"journal":{"name":"2009 6th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127770715","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the same essence as a complex evolving system, it elucidated SSC can analogize community, and analyzed the similarity between the extant structural dimensions of supply chain/network (i.e. horizontal structure, vertical structure, and horizontal position) and the community structure (i.e. species richness, species abundance, and trophic level). To deal with the defects of the extant structural dimensions of supply chain/network applied to SSC, the paper developed horizontal structure, vertical structure, and value level of SSC by analogy with species richness, relative abundance of species, and trophic level. The value level, with an upstream and downstream viewpoint in demand chain and in supply chain of SSC respectively, extends the value viewpoint from dyadic value tree to value chain/network. The SSC structural dimensions based on value viewpoint, may make it capable for analyzing SSC functional (i.e. value) structure at chain/network level.","PeriodicalId":287881,"journal":{"name":"2009 6th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"354 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132616505","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the meantime the shortening of a product's life cycle leads to the condition that companies are to focus on their service offers in order to ensure an advantage in competition. On this account, the companies need to develop a service network for global service provision, in order that the services may not only have a higher quality but also reach the customer in a shorter reaction time and at a low price, so that the companies can win the competition through the advantage of the Product's Life Cycle based Service support. The article to be launched describes a concept to design a suitable Service network basis of the SCOR model for the Global Distribution of Industrial service on the field of maintenance logistics and spares parts supply along the Life cycle of the machines. Further on it creates possible scenarios in order to design a service network within a service supply chain.","PeriodicalId":287881,"journal":{"name":"2009 6th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114359211","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
