A commonly used technique for prediction of settlement is the equivalent pillar method, however, as it does not consider the influence of block contact with the ground, its application in would be inadequate, so that among the most common techniques for prediction of settlement in piled raft, one could be cited is the equivalent raft method. The analyzes were performed by numerical modeling by numerical modeling by three-dimensional finite elements using the LCPC-Cesar® version 5.0 software. This numerical tool allows not only the elasto-plastic soil behavior, but also simulates the magnitude and loading stages performed, as well as the simulation of the unloading process. Thus, it is possible to make comparisons and analyzes between the results obtained by numerical simulations and the real cases. The results have shown that piled raft foundations tend to standardize the settlement, minimizing problems with differential displacement in structures. The thickness of the piled raft slab influences the load distribution in the piles under the raft when it is supported only on soil.
