Due to the influence of the train body, the radio propagation in the vacuum pipe needs to consider the multipath loss of the train body reflection and the diffraction loss of the obstacle. According to the Huygens-Fresnel principle, this paper studies the application criteria of basic models such as vehicle reflection multipath interference and obstacle diffraction by using standard interference and diffraction algorithms for the propagation mechanism of radio waves in a limited space. A radio propagation model along the surface of the vehicle body based on the above algorithm is established, which can provide design references for engineering applications.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116954980","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But for polar code, there are at least two problems to overcome: the high decoding complexity and the undesirable correlation among the decoded bits. The former prohibits its application in practical engineering, while the latter engenders performance degradation for no iterative gains. To solve these problems, a joint iteration BP decoding algorithm based on generalized BICM-ID scheme is presented. In this algorithm, we combine the demodulation and decoding into one factor graph so that the noise corrupted symbols can be simply seen as the extended information nodes of BP decoder. Further, asymptotic performance bound of the proposed system is calculated to analyze its advantages and drawbacks. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can significantly improve the performance of the unmodified BIPCM-ID scheme with lower complexity.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117283537","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It realizes the centralized control of the network by decoupling the forwarding and controlling functions, which greatly improves the flexibility and controllability of the network. Obviously, the layout of controllers affects the networks ability to respond to network events. Therefore, the controller placement is an important problem in SDN community. In this paper, we take the link failure factors into consideration, and make a comprehensive consideration of the number of control path rerouting and the worst-case delay between the controller and the switch in each link failure state, and formulate the problem as a multi-objective optimization problem. To solve the problem, we propose a heuristic method based on particle swarm optimization. Numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. It also shows that the proposed strategy can guarantee the delay and reliability of the control layer in most link failure states.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"301 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120913042","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we try to find a solution to reduce unnecessary handover(UHO). The main contribution of this paper is that a user mobility prediction method based on Lagrange Interpolation is proposed and the transition probability of user equipment to its neighboring femtocells can be evaluated according to the slope of the trajectory polynomial and velocity. Then power offset of base station is achieved through prediction to avoid UHO. Simulations show that the proposed method can get 75%~90% prediction accuracy and decrease 17%~30% handover compared with traditional LTE handover method.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124457968","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this work, we extract useful information from the IAR data and identify a healthy predictability of spatio-temporal pattern within the network traffic. The information extracted is helpful for network operators to plan effective network configuration and perform management and optimization of network's resources. We report experimentation on spatiotemporal analysis of IAR data of the Telecom Italia. Based on this, we present mobile traffic partitioning scheme. Light trail is a technology that allows traffic to be optically groomed into an optical channel at source and intermediate nodes. Traffic on a light trail can be dropped at multiple nodes along the light trail such that multicast connections can be efficiently provisioned. This paper considers using light trail technology in elastic optical networks and studies dynamic multicast grooming problem in such networks. An auxiliary graph is devised to study the dynamic traffic grooming problem. Based on the auxiliary graph, a dynamic multicast traffic grooming algorithm that employs both light trail and light path grooming is proposed. The proposed dynamic multicast traffic grooming algorithm is shown via simulations to yield better performance than an algorithm that uses only light path grooming.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"124 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114181199","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed mechanism analyzes the arriving traffic requirement as well as the current spectrum condition, and then takes the effectiveness and the complexity of spectrum defragmentation into consideration simultaneously. When service blocking is detected, a path from source node to destination node is selected according to the proposed policy and then the spectrum reallocation is performed sequentially based on the selected path to ease the blocking situation. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation results show that compared with the previous mechanisms, the proposed SP-D mechanism can reduce the network latency as 7.67% and decrease the bandwidth blocking probability (BBP) as 5.3%, respectively.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"125 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114593619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to ensure that the IoT users can normally perform information exchange in different services, how to optimize network resource allocation in multiple networks is a key issue. In this paper, we propose a resource allocation algorithm for heterogeneous IoT based on overall user satisfaction. On the basis of considering user satisfaction based on energy efficiency and transmission rate, an efficient online algorithm is obtained through calculating the optimal bandwidth of users in different access networks. The simulation results show that comparing to transmission rate based algorithm and load-balancing algorithm, the network resource allocation algorithm proposed can significantly improve the overall user satisfaction.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129442022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
