In the proposed scheme, consecutive code blocks are processed in different decoding cores according to a variable allocation sequence which is decided by the parity checking result of the decoding sequence. And the scheme is mathematically analyzed with the Gaussian approximation analyzing algorithm and the Sum-Product Algorithm (SPA). It is shown that the proposed scheme can improve the decoding throughput by up to 130% compared to the conventional multicore parallel architectures.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125086963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It mainly carried out the analysis of the nearby band interferences to geostationary passive sensors in the Earth-exploration satellite service in the 50.2-50.4 GHz frequency band that may occur from the fixed-satellite service systems in the 47.2-50.2GHz and 50.4-51.4 GHz frequency band in low Earth orbit and medium Earth orbit respectively. The research made the conclusion that the avoidance angle as a possible interference mitigation technique could be used between the non-geostationary fixed-satellite service systems and the geostationary Earth-exploration satellite service systems. The result shows that, in order to achieve the compatibility in the same frequency band, the geostationary avoidance angle for the non-geostationary fixed-satellite service earth stations should not be less than 10°.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128793926","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It brings the computation services of the core cloud into the nearest point of mobile devices (MDs). This paper jointly studies the problem of computation offloading and cell selection strategies in MEC-enabled HetNets under the assumption that MD can select one of the three ways to execute its task, i.e., complete local computing mode, complete MEC computing mode or partial computing mode. The problem of joint computation offloading and cell selection is formulated as a task execution latency minimization problem. This formulated optimization situation is NP-Hard, which is inconvenient to solve. Hence, we deduce the problem into two subproblems which is computation offloading subproblem and cell selection subproblem and propose extensive search method and Khun-Munkres algorithm respectively to obtain the optimal solution. Numerical results show the efficacy of our proposed algorithm.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116314626","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the Ubiquitous Smart Grid environment is complex and dynamic, it is an important problem for electrical provider to allocate the non-infinite electrical computing resources of nodes to reach an optimal and state performance. To maximum the benefits and resource utilization while satisfying users requests, it is essential for service provider to allocate resources adaptively for different conditions. In this paper, we propose a dynamic resource optimization allocation framework for the problem of Fog resource allocation for Ubiquitous Smart Grid. A dynamic differential game model is modeled and analyzed to solve the independent optimization. The experiments results support a theoretical foundation that can help service provider make the optimal dynamic strategies when users change their strategies.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116714924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, we propose two selection schemes in the networks, namely, Case I, which means choosing the larger secrecy capacity among Satellite-Relay and Relay-Destination; Case II, which is choosing the lower secrecy capacity among Satellite-Relay and Relay-Destination. Furthermore, we derive the closed-form expressions for the secrecy outage probability (SOP) of the HSTRN based on the proposed two selection schemes, which provide a fast means to evaluate the impact of system parameters and selection schemes on the secrecy system performance. In order to study the impact of system parameters and selection schemes at high SNRs, we obtain the asymptotic expressions of the SOP of the HSTRN. Finally, in order to verify the accuracy of the analysis described in this paper, simulation results are given.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114521301","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed antenna is mainly made up of a 4×4 mushroom-cells array. We use a microstrip line through a rectangular slot cut on the ground plane to feed the antenna. Then, we use the transmission-line model to explain the resonant principle of the proposed antenna. With the parameters optimization, the dielectric-filled mushroom antenna is with a ground plane of 60×60mm and a low profile of 0.05λ0 (λ0 is the operating wavelength in free space). Because monocular vision cannot obtain the depth information of the image, it cannot meet the accuracy requirements of pedestrian detection. In order to solve these problems, a new cascading pedestrian detection model based on PSMNet binocular information fusion and improved faster R-CNN pedestrian detection model is proposed. Firstly, binocular images are fed into the original PSMNet binocular information fusion module to get the disparity map, and then left and right images are fused by the disparity map to get the fusion image. Secondly, in the improved faster R-CNN pedestrian detection module, the left, right and fusion image of one frame are as separate inputs, and pedestrian detection is carried out respectively. Finally, the detection results of the three channels are passed through the target consistency validation module, and the verified pedestrian detection target is as the final output detection result. The simulation results show that the accuracy and recall rate of the cascading model are improved, the missed detection rate is reduced to 13.42%, and the accuracy rate is 88.58%.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"520 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116703852","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Device-to-device communication (D2D) is one of the key technologies of 5G. In this paper, considering the in-band communication, we use the Poisson cluster process (PCP) to model and analyze the heterogeneous cellular and D2D networks. Firstly, we use the Thomas cluster process to model cellular users and D2D users. Secondly, we analyze the aggregated interference of the typical D2D receiver in the heterogeneous cellular and D2D networks. Then we analyze the Laplace transform of the aggregated interference and deduce the coverage probability of the typical D2D receiver. Simulation results show that the path loss exponent and D2D users' distribution density have significant influence on the performance of heterogeneous cellular and D2D networks. Compared with the grid model and PPP model, PCP model can realize the performance optimization of the clustered D2D networks.","PeriodicalId":285172,"journal":{"name":"2019 28th Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC)","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124959250","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
