The selected optimal criterion provides orthogonality of signal basis and the smallest standard deviation of basis functions from the desired reference. In addition, special algebraic structure algorithm of synthesis in the form of multiplication of sparse matrix allows an efficient computational implementation and flexible time-frequency tuning of the resolution obtained basis. The results of the experiment which confirm the efficient computational implementation are presented.","PeriodicalId":280881,"journal":{"name":"2018Systems of Signal Synchronization, Generating and Processing in Telecommunications (SYNCHROINFO)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127157839","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The approach is based on an estimation of error probability per symbol, which is caused by intersymbol interference in the selective systems. Using the presented approach, the capacity of a number of bandpass filters was estimated, the possibility of increasing the capacity due to the use of “transparency windows” was shown, and recommendations for their use were given. It is shown that the error probability per symbol can be reduced by using the law of distribution of values f symbols which is different from equiprobable.","PeriodicalId":280881,"journal":{"name":"2018Systems of Signal Synchronization, Generating and Processing in Telecommunications (SYNCHROINFO)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130815924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Here is given a relevant example for the channel with forward error correction codes (FEC enabled channel). The method being redefined here is based on FEC data structure of the transmitted information which includes redundant symbols, and machine learning approach which is using this redundant information to detect synchronization and synchronize the whole system with less spare date being transmitted over the channel, which usually being used for synchronization purposes. Suggested redefined method of synchronization takes more computation efforts and more memory for computation, but on the other hand it set an area for its implementation in terms of complexity of synchronizing machine versus data transmission rate: both being pushed by the level of noise. Implication of machine learning mechanism is giving a great improvement on top of the produced result, providing much better performance for the whole end-to-end system, dramatically decreasing delays of taking decision on synchronization, or extending the range of the system use by improving applicability of the system over higher levels of noise. For wired telecommunication systems this leads to better quality, but for wireless systems it leads to wide range or use or/and better quality. Use of reviewed approach for FEC enabled channels leads to new result for synchronization problems solving. Moreover, proposed approach might provide better decoding level due to soft decisions being forward from synchronization module into decoding module of receiving system.","PeriodicalId":280881,"journal":{"name":"2018Systems of Signal Synchronization, Generating and Processing in Telecommunications (SYNCHROINFO)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122574508","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During the evolution of mobile communication it became possible to use global satellite navigation systems data to determine the position of mobile station (MS) as well as base station (BS) location data. This led to the development of location-based services (LSB). Mobile operators today offer a wide range of LSB such as weather forecast, interactive maps, etc.For 5G systems location task is important for such tasks as handover management, providing advertising and information services with reference to the location of MS, operating in the Internet of things mode, security including emergency services, etc.Authors made a review on radio location methods used in previous generations of mobile communications. Perspective technologies proposed by 3GPP for MS positioning are examined in order to carry out functions for which it is essential to know the location of network subscriber.An algorithm for locating MS based on received signal strength (RSS) measurement method was proposed. Positioning accuracy of the algorithms depends on the reference map step. Algorithm was implemented in LabVIEW Communication 2.0 and tested indoors with the usage of reference maps representing signal level in different points of space acquired during radio wave propagation experiment on the frequency of 3.3 GHz. The position of user equipment (UE) was determined during the laboratory test with accuracy of ± 0.15 m while experimental reference map step was 0.4 m.The implemented algorithm can be used for MS positioning in 5G network for indoor or urban scenarios.","PeriodicalId":280881,"journal":{"name":"2018Systems of Signal Synchronization, Generating and Processing in Telecommunications (SYNCHROINFO)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127702286","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
