The teaching learning approach is appropriate for use in SMK since it produces graduates who are competent and ready to work. The purpose of this project is to use a workshop to increase the ability of productive teachers to apply learning using the Teaching Factory approach. The focus of this study is a successful teacher at SMK Negeri 7 Palu, which has a total of 12 students. This school action research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle going through the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data in cycle II increased with an average of 94 (A) and 91.67% completeness percentage. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The design of this study discusses the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart consists of four components, namely 1) planning, 2) implementing actions, 3) observation and 4) reflection. The subjects of this study were Grade VII students of Karuna Dipa Palu Middle School who tested 20 students. The study was conducted in two cycles. Subjects and respondents to this study as many as 6 students of the Physics Education Study Program class of 2016 who have programmed basic physics courses. The research instrument used is a three-tier multiple choice diagnostic test with DIRECT 1.1 which is a question of multiple choice with the reason in answering the question, each choice of answers accompanied by a choice of confidence level index in answering or CRI. The test instrument used as many as 24 question numbers. The test result data is then analyzed to determine the percentage of scientific concepts, understand alternative concepts, and do not understand concepts both before practicum and after practicum for each group. Based on the results of the analysis of research data, the concept of students before practicum either follow the learning through the real laboratory first then the virtual laboratory, as well as students who follow the learning through the virtual laboratory first then the real laboratory in the categorized very low, while after practicum in high categorization. This type of study was descriptive research. Sampling was carried out using the proportional stratified random sampling technique consisted of 93 students. Data collection technique used instruments of learning style questionnaire and learning outcomes test as well as daily test scores of Acid and Base Solutions. The results showed that students of Class XI MIA at MAN 2 Palu had various learning styles. There were 49 students (53%) with a tendency to visual learning styles, 31 students (34%) with an auditorial learning style, and 13 students (13%) with a kinesthetic learning style. The aims of this study were to determine the levels of sodium (Na) and calcium (Ca) in seawater in Posona village. The tools used were an atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS) and a flame photometer. Seawater samples were taken in the morning and afternoon in 3 distance points: 50 meters, 100 meters, and 150 meters from the edge of the land surface of the seashore. The level of sodium (Na) was measured at wavelengths of 589 nm while calcium (Ca) at a wavelength of 422.7 nm. The results of the study obtained the sodium levels in the morning samples with a distance of 50 m, 100 m, and 150 m amounted of 18.076 mg/L, 18.395 mg/L, and 18.715 mg/L. While the afternoon samples for the sodium (Na) levels was 18.475 mg/L, 18.742 mg/L, and 18.249 mg/L, respectively. It has the characteristics of green flesh on the bottom of the skin and yellowing toward the seeds with a texture that is rather soft when it is ripe. Skin color varies, some are green because of chlorophyll or black content due to anthocyanin pigments. This study aimed to determine the total levels of flavonoids in the skin of avocados that were green and black. Determination of total flavonoid levels used a UV- Vis spectrophotometer. The results showed that an analysis of water content was 5.306% for green avocado skin and 7.327% for black avocado skin. The analysis of total flavonoid levels at a wavelength of 437 nm obtained respectively, the average yield was 54,950 mg/100g for green avocado skin and 29,519 mg/100g for black avocado skin. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen kuasi dengan desain the eqivalent pretest-posttest group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Sigi. Teknik Sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Purposive Sampling dengan sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII B sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kela VII A sebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen hasil belajar siswa berupa tes pilihan ganda yang telah divalidkan melalui validitas kontruksi. Tes hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata kelompok eksperimen sebesar 14,91. Dimana hasil ini lebih tinggi dari pada kelompok kontrol yaitu 11,20. Uji hipotesis Uji-t (dua pihak), diperoleh  = 3,18 dan  = 2,00 pada taraf nyata α = 0,05. Ini berarti bahwa nilai  berada diluar daerah penerimaan . This research aims to utilize jackfruit peels pectin (Artocarpus Heterophyllus) as Cu (II) metal adsorbent the first  to extract with 5% citric acid solvent for 120 minutes and characterize  pectin from jackfruit peels as well measure the optimum contact time required pectin  to adsorb Cu (II) metal with variations in time for 1, 2, 3 hours. Pembelajaran langsung (DI) merupakan suatu model pembelajaran yang terdiri dari penjelasan guru mengenai konsep atau keterampilan baru terhadap siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing menggunakan media sederhana terhadap hasil belajar IPA fisika pada siswa SMP Negeri 3 Palu. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen kuasi dengan desain the non-equivalent pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Palu. Teknik Sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIII A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen hasil belajar IPA fisika berupa tes pilihan ganda yang telah divalidasi melalui validitas konstruksi. Hasil uji t dua pihak dengan dk = 60 dan taraf signifikansi a = 0,05 diperoleh nilai thitung = 3,92 dan nilai ini lebih besar dari ttabel = 2,00. Hal ini berarti, nilai thitung berada di luar daerah penerimaan H0. Abram","doi":"10.22487/me.v16i2.745","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22487/me.v16i2.745","url":null,"abstract":"Eugenol is a paleyellow oily liquid which can be extracted from essential oils such as clove and cinnamon oils. This study aimed to modify eugenol and to reduce environmental pollution caused by polymers by utilizing natural materials through polymerization of eugenol with concentrated nitric acid (HNO3) and media of acetic acid (CH3COOH). Various of acetic acid media used were 5%, 25%, and 50%. The result of polieugenol was blackish brown, in the form of shiny gels, smelling of cloves, and soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in chloroform and insoluble in benzene and water. The product polieugenol was washed with aquades. The yields before washing were 142.75%, 141.25% and 138.75%, and the yield after washing were 88.265%, 88.397% and 87.248%.
