La recherche dans ce domaine doit être continuellement mise à jour en tenant compte de l'orientation de ces changements. Le capitalisme contemporain est sous-tendu par le processus de financiarisation - l'expansion du secteur financier en taille, échelle et pouvoir. Bien que le processus de financiarisation remodèle les SSP, les mécanismes par lesquels cela se produit restent peu étudiés. L'objectif de cet article est d'examiner comment le concept de financiarisation peut être intégré dans le cadre conceptuel actuellement utilisé pour examiner les réformes des SSP. Cela nous permet de mieux comprendre les moteurs, les caractéristiques et les impacts des changements de politique ciblant ces systèmes. Compte tenu du potentiel de croissance des stratégies financiarisées en tant que nouvelle solution pour des systèmes de santé financièrement fragiles, il est essentiel de bien préciser les concepts utilisés dans la recherche sur ces systèmes.","PeriodicalId":278040,"journal":{"name":"Économie et Institutions","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134466758","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While access to health care became widespread at the end of the 19th century as a tool for improving the quality of the workforce, it is now tending to evolve. The health system is thus emancipating itself from its initial mission to become an integral part of capitalism. Recent developments in the health system (development of supplementary health insurance, telemedicine, private clinics, etc.) have become profit-generating activities and seem to run counter to its original objectives. The article shows that the development of health capitalism goes against the main objective of the health care system, the maintenance of the labour force.","PeriodicalId":278040,"journal":{"name":"Économie et Institutions","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132137595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its effects on sectors such as healthcare require extensive investigation to understand how healthcare systems (in their public and private aspects) have changed. In this article, we chose to focus the study on the sphere of financialization regarding how it changes the private health sector in Brazil, especially in terms of greater capital concentration with the participation of financial and foreign capital, with a special focus on changes in the hospital system. La financiarisation, comprise comme la tendance à la suprématie du marché financier, des institutions, de la rentabilité et de l’élite financière, a été une caractéristique essentielle du capitalisme au cours des dernières décennies. Ses effets sur des secteurs tels que les soins de santé nécessitent une enquête approfondie pour comprendre dans quelle mesure les systèmes de soins (dans leurs aspects publics et privés) ont changé. Dans cet article, nous avons choisi de concentrer l’étude sur la sphère de la financiarisation en ce qui concerne la façon dont elle modifie le secteur privé de la santé au Brésil, notamment en termes de plus grande concentration du capital avec la participation de capitaux financiers et étrangers, avec un accent particulier sur les changements dans le système hospitalier. From one pandemic to the next, the stylised facts show that the patent did not solve the problem of scarcity associated with market failures in pharmaceuticals, but substituted an artificial, institutionally constructed scarcity logic. The patent has so become a problematic institution, a pillar of an innovation and production system geared towards the pursuit of monopolies and rents, and in so doing, the source of supply rationing. Finally, intellectual property is at the heart of a logic of profitability that is prevalent in a capitalist production system, which is neither anthropogenetic nor cognitive but definitely financialised.","PeriodicalId":278040,"journal":{"name":"Économie et Institutions","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121205585","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
