In mass customization, products are usually made of several modules while each module is composed of several numbers of variants. High number of product variants is achieved through a combination of assembled modules. In this paper we present a methodological framework for creating all possible product variants based on unlimited number of initial components. The VRPPDTW problem is seen in many practical applications such as logistics, distribution and transportation. Firstly, a new model of the very close to real-life problem is defined. Secondly, a novel heuristic algorithm with a new objective function is proposed to solve the daily macro routing problem with time windows. The method proposed to solve VRPPDTW problem is an extended version of a nature-inspired algorithm called Heuristic Bubble Algorithm (HBA). In order to express the benefit of using extended HBA, five case studies are discussed using RouteArt. Mentor teachers can support the preparation process of our engineering teacher students in secondary vocational schools by coaching their teaching practice. We recognized that data collection and processing was important for Mentor teachers in their work. Therefore, we involved them in creating good presentations, and taught them how to collect data with these technologies, process and transfer them to the audience according to the established idea. In three semesters we managed a longitudinal survey with same questionnaire. The main task of visualization is to provide information to the user much more effective than raw data. We present an overview of current research in this area. Also we present our visualization tool for visualizing of critical properties of databases in the three-dimensional system. By measuring of critical properties we are gaining important information about properties and behavior of the data system in the real operation. Then we have various possibilities how to propose various changes, improvements in the next design. The visualization tool provides enough knowledge to help interactively to implement successfully all needed changes in the system. Our implementation is focused on reaching communication reduction to spare power resources on sensor nodes. To decrease amount of communication and not decrease amount information about monitored or controlled system we used data mining technique and events based communication. Data mining technique was implemented directly on sensor node, which offers enough storage and computing sources. Implemented data mining technique is SPRT (Sequential Probability Ratio Test). Using this method, the sensor decides, if the monitored system is behaving abruptly. Like the result of decision, the sensor creates appropriate type of event. The sensors are subscribed to event listener, which handle these events. Soft robotics is an emerging field of research that uses soft or compliant materials and elements to overcome the limitation of traditional robotics. Traditionally, robots have been used in an industrial environment with few unknown parameters. As more and more robots are used to interact with environments that are uncertain and vulnerable to change, a technology that can easily adapt to the changing environment is needed. Soft robotics deals with this issue by using soft and compliant elements in an intelligent way. Bio-inspired robotics is the field of robotics that leads the use of this technology. Nature has many examples where it achieves high performance with a soft intelligent design. Flytrap, for example, can close its leaves quickly by using bistability of the leaves and inchworm achieves adaptive gripping with its prolegs by using the buckling effect. These examples show that high performance can be achieved with a simple and minimum design. Also, wearable robots can be made more comfortable to wear, lightweight and small size by using soft robotics technology. Soft exoskeletons removes the frames from traditional exoskeleton robots and transmit forces to the body by directly connecting tendons, or soft actuators to the body. In this talk, I will give an overview of various soft bio-inspired robotic technologies and some of the robots that are being developed at SNU Biorobotics Laboratory. The paper presents an alternative way of controlling a 4 DOF vehicle that can be used for educational purposes.
