The philosophical system created by al-Farabi deals with the main problems related to questions of God, the universe and man, as well as the place of man in the universe. The formation of philosophical thinking of al-Farabi was influenced by ancient Greek philosophy, in particular, the works of Aristotle. Al-Farabi created a whole encyclopedic system, where in his writings he considered such concepts as truth, logic and morality. In his philosophical reflections, al-Farabi touched on all aspects of human life. The importance of the work and the importance of the activities of Abu Nasr al-Farabi in the modern world is evidenced by the great attention paid to the study of his rich scientific heritage.","PeriodicalId":274072,"journal":{"name":"Eurasian Journal of Religious studies","volume":"252 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123033197","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article defines the cultural significance of Ahmed Yassawi’s role in the Sufi worldview formation, the influence of Sufism on the spiritual and aesthetic culture of the Central Asia Turkic peoples in the Middle Ages. The religious creativity of Ahmed Yassawi undoubtedly had a spiritual impact on the worldview of the Turkic people of Central Asia, changing their worldview and understanding of the place and purpose of a person in their life. Under the influence of Yassawi and other Sufi thinkers, Central Asia turns into a center of divinely inspired intuition during the Middle Ages. The city of Turkestan in this period becomes the epicenter of a new spiritual practice, which opened the way for a person not only personal liberation from suffering, but also proposed a new strategy of overcoming the life hardships through personal choice. \u0000The authors of this article determine the architectural significance of the memorial complex dedicated to Ahmed Yassawi’s memory. Assessing the mastery of medieval architects, the authors draw attention to the innovation of medieval Central Asian architects. This is an architectural achievement of that distant era: blue and white ceramics, which was embodied in the construction of the Ahmed Yassawi’s mausoleum. \u0000Careful attitude to the cultural heritage of the Central Asia steppe civilization is one of the most important tasks of the “Ruhani zhangyru” (Spiritual revival) national program. This will allow educating the public tradition of careful attitude and respect for the spiritual heritage of the past, for the rich culture of Kazakhstan.","PeriodicalId":274072,"journal":{"name":"Eurasian Journal of Religious studies","volume":"156 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121405353","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The poet, being a noble warrior who took part in the main battles between the Crimean Khanate and the Nogai Horde, devoted the contents of his poetry to the difficulties of military life, full of danger, anxiety, and adventure. The poet poetizes and romanticizes a similar way of life, close to his heart, and contrasts with the peaceful, philistine stagnation that he hates. The Dospambet-zhyrau’s poetry created the ideal of a man, a hero, whose days pass in continuous battles, moving along military roads, not regretting any injuries, losses, abandoned girl, or even sons waiting for their father, or their own life. Also, how the term shahid is used in the poetry of the zhyrau is mentioned. Furthermore, common features and inextricable links of poetry of all akyn-zhyraus (poets and story tellers) with philosophy, folk aesthetics, and spiritual and ethnocultural traditions are noted. The three-century struggle of the Kazakh people against the invasion of Dzungaria seems to have contributed to the growing relevance of religious themes in the poetry of akyn-zhyraus. The paper consists of three parts such as introduction, main part, and conclusion.","PeriodicalId":274072,"journal":{"name":"Eurasian Journal of Religious studies","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116386572","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
