The article examines the state of protection of mothers and children in the Udmurt Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in the post-war period of 1945–1950. The article analyzes the quality of medical care and services for the protection of mothers and children, the equipment of medical institutions with medical personnel and the staffing of departments with beds and the necessary equipment for providing medical care to children and mothers.\u0000Materials and Methods. The work used the data from the central Republican archive of the Udmurt ASSR. It carried out a market analysis on the state and development of the network of obstetric and gynecological care. The materials contained in research that give an idea of the problem under consideration, as well as legal documents have been investigated and summarized.\u0000Results and Discussion. In this period under review, a network of antenatal clinics, maternity hospitals, obstetric and gynecological departments is being created. The number of beds for pregnant women and women in labor increased. A specialized department of pregnancy pathology was organized. The rates of maternal mortality, stillbirth and neonatal mortality have dropped significantly. An exchange card has been introduced in hospitals. With the creation of a methodological office, work began on the development of programs for preschool education, cluster and regional conferences began to be held. The conferences dealt with deaths, with special attention paid to issues of late hospitalization. Since 1949, the method of serving children according to the “single pediatrician” system were practiced.\u0000Conclusion. Protecting the interests of mother and child, the Udmurt Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in the postwar years provided great assistance to pregnant women and mothers, fulfilling the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of July 8, 1944. {"title":"Compound adjectives in the Erzya and Hungarian languages","authors":"T. P. Compounding is one of the leading ways to update vocabulary. A compound word is the result of combining two or more meanings at the lexical-semantic, word-formation, syntactic levels, which determines versatile approaches to its study, including comparative-historical. The purpose of the research is a comparative historical study of compound adjectives of the Erzya and Hungarian languages. It can be achieved by considering the formation patterns of compound adjectives; analysis of compound adjectives in Erzya and Hungarian; identifying the types of relationships between the components of a compound word; statistical calculations.\u0000Materials and Methods. The material for analysis was formed by the method of continuous sampling from bilingual dictionaries: Erzya-Russian and Hungarian-Russian. It used the methods for determining the genetic affiliation of language data, establishing a system of correspondences and anomalies in the compared languages; spatial localization of linguistic phenomena.\u0000Research and Discussion. Compounding in the Erzya and Hungarian languages are divided into two large groups: 1) formed on the basis of a compositional connection and 2) created on the basis of a subordinate connection between components. As the study showed, complex adjectives of the subordinate type in the Erzya language are few in number, while in the Hungarian language they constitute the majority. This group includes words with the first part – an adjective, a noun, a numeral. Compound adjectives of a compositional type, prevailing in the Erzya language, can be formed as a result of the merger of two proper adjectives, two derived adjectives, repetition of derived adjectives. In the Hungarian language, the share of complex adjectives of the compositional type is small. Among them there are the ones paired and formed by the type of twin words.\u0000Conclusion. The article considers the variety and functions of dishes and utensils used at the sacrificial rituals of Trans-Kama “pagans” Udmurts from the Republic of Bashkortostan and Perm Krai. This is the first attempt of using extensive field and archival materials for the research purposes.\u0000Materials and Methods. The material for the study represents the published and archival sources, ethnographic information collected the authors during many years of field research. The analysis of materials was carried out using a comparative-historical method. The article takes into account the theoretical approaches of the semiotic school in ethnology.\u0000Results and Discussion. In the object world of Udmurt sacrifices, a special place is occupied by dishes and utensils. Without them the ritual process involving the preparation of food and a joint meal is impossible. Various dishes (cauldrons, troughs, buckets, bowls, spoons, ladles, etc.) are used for their utilitarian purpose (cooking, storage, transportation, eating food, etc.) but inclusion in the ritual process endows them with symbolic functions.\u0000Conclusion. Dishes and utensils used at the sacrifices of the Trans-Kama Udmurts are still endowed with a high sacred status. The number, composition and methods of using ritual utensils have remained traditional but their forms, material and manufacturing method have changed. The work is devoted to the study of the theatrical and dramatic work of O. Ulyashev. It reveals the originality of his dramatic handwriting and some aspects of the movement of national culture in the 1990s.\u0000Materials and Methods. The material of the study was the plays by O. Ulyashev. The method of study is comparative.\u0000Results and Discussion. O. Ulyashev’s plays are an important milestone in the history of the development of the Komi Theater. His plays, like many other ones of the turn of the XX–XXI centuries, are inherent in the desire for renewal. The artistic originality of his texts, however, determines the actualization of folklore material. The writer’s worldview is close to the high artistic, aesthetic and moral and philosophical potential of oral folk art. It is folklore origins that contribute to his creative quest and the development of his creative aspirations. O. Ulyashev’s works, like many other works of Komi literature of the late XX century about the historical past of the Zyryans, serve to increase and strengthen national identity.\u0000Conclusion. The work of the writer O. Ulyashev played an important role in the development of theatrical and dramatic art of the Komi Republic. In the traditional culture of the Ob Ugrians, certain types of mushrooms have received a special mythological “status” that reveals their place in the traditional picture of the world and explains the power of their impact on humans. The purpose of the study is to present the role of mushrooms in folk medicine and ritual practices of the Khanty and Mansi. These interconnected areas have not been sufficiently studied at the moment, which reflects the relevance of the work.\u0000Materials and Methods. The article uses the published data and field materials of the author, as well as folklore sources. The study was carried out on the basis of an interdisciplinary and systematic approach using the structural-functional method.\u0000Results and Discussion. In the treatment and cleansing rituals of the Khanty and Mansi, the use of birch tinder fungi has become widespread. Their healing properties have been known since antiquity, since image of the Tree of Life was associated with this tree. Another representative of the mushroom kingdom, the fly agaric, was used sporadically, primarily as a hallucinogenic agent used in ritual practices. The properties of this mushroom allow researchers to make an ambiguous conclusion that the secret of soma, the drink of the gods, lies in the portion made from the fly agaric.\u0000Conclusion. {"title":"Functioning of the verb’s reflexive voice in the modern Udmurt language","authors":"K. G. Any language’s verb system has many resources for denoting various actions of people. The relations of the action or state of the subject to its object are determined by the grammatical category of the voice, represented in the Udmurt language by the pairs of causative – non-causative, reflexive – non-reflexive forms of voices. The article considers the functioning of the verb’s reflexive voice in the modern Udmurt language, including the etymology of the voice’s affix, the grammatical meanings of reflexive verbs.\u0000Materials and Methods. The main material of the research is based on the Udmurt-Russian Dictionary (2008) and the texts of Udmurt writers included into the National Corpus of the Udmurt Language. The article used a set of such research methods as descriptive, continuous sampling, contextual analysis, taking into account the situational conditioning of the verb voice. On specific examples, the use of these methods makes it possible to consider the structure, dynamics and features of the functioning of the reflexive voice of the verb in the Udmurt language.\u0000Results and Discussion. As a result of the research, for the first time, among the reflexive voice’s groups we include verbs of passive voice. The reason of it is the low probability of using passive constructions in colloquial speech. The frequent cases of using passive meanings of verbs in the literature and in the press are defined by the calcified translation of foreign-language constructions.\u0000Conclusion. The grammatical structure of the Udmurt language is represented by two binary voice’s forms: reflexive/non-reflexive voice and causative/non-causative voice. Specific indicators of reflexive voice are affixes -ськ(ы)-/-ск(ы), -иськ(ы)-/-üськ(ы)-. From the point of view of semantic content, five semantic groups of returnable pledges are distinguished: reflexive, medial, reciprocal, impersonal, passive. The stability problem of a system of differential equations with a right-hand side periodic with respect to the phase (angular) coordinates is considered. It is convenient to consider such systems in a cylindrical phase space which allows a more complete qualitative analysis of their solutions. The authors propose to investigate the dynamic properties of solutions of a non-autonomous system with angular coordinates by constructing its topological dynamics in such a space. The corresponding quasi-invariance property of the positive limit set of the system’s bounded solution is derived. The stability problem with respect to part of the variables is investigated basing of the vector Lyapunov function with the comparison principle and also basing on the constructed topological dynamics. Theorem like a quasi-invariance principle is proved on the basis of a vector Lyapunov function for the class of systems under consideration. Two theorems on the asymptotic stability of the zero solution with respect to part of the variables (to be more precise, non-angular coordinates) are proved. The novelty of these theorems lies in the requirement only for the stability of the comparison system, in contrast to the classical results with the condition of the corresponding asymptotic stability property. We describe the continuous operator method for solution nonlinear operator equations and discuss its application for investigating direct and inverse scattering problems. The continuous operator method is based on the Lyapunov theory stability of solutions of ordinary differential equations systems. It is applicable to operator equations in Banach spaces, including in cases when the Frechet (Gateaux) derivative of a nonlinear operator is irreversible in a neighborhood of the initial value. In this paper, it is applied to the solution of the Dirichlet and Neumann problems for the Helmholtz equation and to determine the wave number in the inverse problem. The internal and external problems of Dirichlet and Neumann are considered. The Helmholtz equation is considered in domains with smooth and piecewise smooth boundaries. In the case when the Helmholtz equation is considered in domains with smooth boundaries, the existence and uniqueness of the solution follows from the classical potential theory. When solving the Helmholtz equation in domains with piecewise smooth boundaries, the Wiener regularization is carried out. The Dirichlet and Neumann problems for the Helmholtz equation are transformed by methods of potential theory into singular integral equations of the second kind and hypersingular integral equations of the first kind. For an approximate solution of singular and hypersingular integral equations, computational schemes of collocation and mechanical quadrature methods are constructed and substantiated. The features of the continuous method are illustrated with solving boundary problems for the Helmholtz equation. The search for new solutions in the field of energy, preventing negative impact on the environment, is one of the priority tasks for modern society. Natural gas occupies a stable position in the demand of the UES of Russia for fossil fuel. Biogas is a possible alternative fuel from organic waste. Biogas has an increased content of carbon dioxide, which affects the speed of flame propagation, and a lower content of methane, which reduces its heat of combustion. However, the combined combustion of natural gas and biogas, provided that the mixture of fuel and oxidizer is well mixed, can, on the one hand, reduce the maximum adiabatic temperature in the combustion chamber of power boilers at TPPs, and, on the other, increase the stability of biogas combustion. For the combined combustion of natural gas and biogas in operating power boilers, it is necessary to reconstruct the existing burners. For a high-quality reconstruction of burners capable of providing stable and low-toxic combustion of fuel, it is important to have theoretical data on the combustion effect of combustion of combinations of organic fuels on the temperature distribution in the combustion zone and on its maximum value. In this paper, self-similar solutions of the energy equation for axisymmetric motion of a liquid (gas) in a model of a viscous incompressible medium are obtained. Basing on them, a stationary temperature field in swirling jets is constructed. A set of programs based on the ANSYS Fluent software solver has been developed for modeling and researching of thermal and gas-dynamic processes in the combustion chamber. On the basis of the k - ϵ (realizable) turbulence model, the combustion process of a swirling fuel-air mixture is simulated. Bibikov on maintaining the stability of the equilibrium position of two interconnected nonlinear oscillators under the action of small, in a certain sense, conservative perturbing forces is considered. With different methods of reducing the system to the Hamiltonian form, some features are revealed for the case when the perturbing forces of the interaction of two oscillators are potential. The conditions for preserving the stability and instability of the equilibrium of two oscillators for the case of sufficiently small disturbing forces are obtained. The problem of maintaining the stability of the equilibrium under conservative perturbations is also considered in the more general situation of an arbitrary number of oscillators with power potentials with rational exponents, which leads to the case of a generalized homogeneous potential of an unperturbed system.
