One of them is by involving defected ground structure (DGS) into the structure of microwave filter. In this paper, a wideband microstrip bandpass filter (BPF) is developed using a combination of two kinds of DGS for bandwidth improvement. The DGS consists of four rectangular slots and a rectangular ring slot which are incorporated at the groundplane on the bottom side of filter. The proposed microstrip BPF configured by four elements with tapered feeding lines is designed and fabricated on an FR4 epoxy dielectric substrate. From the characterization result, the realized microstrip BPF with DGS which has a compact size of of 27.4 mm × 22 mm could produce the working bandwidth of 4.097 GHz in the frequency range from 1.472 GHz to 5.569 GHz.","PeriodicalId":273233,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Radar, Antenna, Microwave, Electronics, and Telecommunications (ICRAMET)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123968586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In meeting the increasingly high filter requirements as technology develops specifically for S-Band radar, this research will make a microstrip filter using 3 elements based on OSRR. The results of filtering will be observed from the result of filter responses such as frequency, power losses, and BW parameters. The design observed using simulation methods by changing distance of each OSRR elements and realizing the results of the filter design in physical realization. The results of physical realization are then measured and compared with the simulation design results. From measurement obtained Return loss, Insertion loss, and bandwidth as 27 dB, −0.2 dB, and 500 MHz respectively at frequency 3.875 GHz.","PeriodicalId":273233,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Radar, Antenna, Microwave, Electronics, and Telecommunications (ICRAMET)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127234639","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are several methods included in mathematical modeling including neural networks, naive bayes, monte carlo and markov. From some of these methods used in predicting future events. For example, Markov chain is used to predict hospital users, rain and population movements. So in this research, the authors try to use Markov Chain method to predict the damage that robots welding experiences in the coming year. Since there is no description of the damage that will occur, a prediction is needed to get a picture of the damage. In this study, a calibration process is also presented to get an error value between the predicted results and their actual results. The error value of the calibration process is a reference in determining the error value of predicted results for the coming year.","PeriodicalId":273233,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Radar, Antenna, Microwave, Electronics, and Telecommunications (ICRAMET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131077427","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, it is useful for reconstructing heritage buildings or finding a location lying in ruin after an earthquake. Rebuilding a digital map of a room can be done by using information from two-dimensional (2D) images. However, it seems to be complicated to obtain an accurate dimension directly from those images. One potential breakthrough is to make use of light detecting and ranging (LIDAR) technology. This state-of-the-art device can detect the solid surface of an object, as well as presenting an easiness of the distance measurements. This research focused on the reconstruction of a room map by utilizing 2D point cloud data obtained from a Lidar device. The results showed that by applying the conditioned random sample consensus (RANSAC) method, the 2D map of a room could be identified accurately from the 2D point cloud data.","PeriodicalId":273233,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Radar, Antenna, Microwave, Electronics, and Telecommunications (ICRAMET)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130499238","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Software Defined Networking (SDN) is a computer network architecture, design and management paradigm, that is made for next generation computer networks and overcoming the limitation of the existing traditional computer networks. Like the traditional one, SDN-based computer network infrastructure are also able to run network various function including network virtualization. There are several SDN based network virtualization technology already available with different architecture and its own characteristics. This research will review and compare two network hypervisor software: FlowVisor and OpenVirtex as a base technology for site-to-site VPN implementation. An SDN network testbed deployed to test network virtualization functionality, firewall network function virtualization, network failover, network quality of services and traffic processing overhead in virtualized network infrastructure based on both software. SDN-based site-to-site VPN is more easily implemented rather than traditional site-to-site VPN. OpenVirtex promises as better future solution for SDN based virtualization solution rather than FlowVisor, but its still not reliable to implemented as a network virtualization solution in a real network infrastructure.","PeriodicalId":273233,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Radar, Antenna, Microwave, Electronics, and Telecommunications (ICRAMET)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133765028","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This work discusses the results of research on efficient use of bandwidth and transponder power using Paired Carrier Multiple Access. In this research, a satellite communication link point to point with a speed 2048 kbps was used for measuring the bandwidth and calculating the transponder power. This research is looking for the most optimal value of using transponder capacity with modulation, FEC and coding variations. The 8PSK LDPC 2/3 modcod is the most optimal ones because it uses the smallest transponder capacity 3.48% with 50% efficiency. The changing of transponder services from power limited to bandwidth limited will increase the obtained efficiency but reduce the link quality.","PeriodicalId":273233,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Radar, Antenna, Microwave, Electronics, and Telecommunications (ICRAMET)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126261576","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
