Since its creation, VividQ has made multiple advancements in the area of computer-generated holography (CGH), with the aim to deploy highly realistic holographic displays in consumer AR devices. Traditionally, CGH has had several challenges to overcome to become a mainstream display technology. Amongst others, these include field of view/eye-box trade-off, optical engine volume and most importantly, the computational complexity of hologram generation.
