Stakeholder needs high earnings quality as earnings information is used for decision-making by stakeholder. This study investigates the effect of fair value, diversification, and financial stability on earnings quality and the roles of risk disclosure in moderating these effects. This study employs secondary data sourced from annual reports available at www.idx.com. The sample used in this study is bank companies from 2016 to 2020. Using purposive sampling, the sample obtained in this study was 180 observations. The research data were analyzed using multiple linear regression for panel data. This study suggested that fair value does not affect earnings quality. Other than that, diversification positively affects earnings quality while financial stability negatively affects earnings quality. Furthermore, risk disclosure failed to moderate the effect of fair value, diversification, and financial stability on earnings quality. This study indicates that the Indonesian Financial Services Authority needs to regulate the bank's diversification and risk disclosure policies. Moreover, the Indonesian Financial Services Authority should maintain and improve the bank’s financial stability policies.","PeriodicalId":271925,"journal":{"name":"Riset Akuntansi dan Keuangan Indonesia","volume":"108 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124143903","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study, thus, aims to analyze the effect of growth opportunity, profitability, corporate social responsibility (CSR), company size, and leverage on the earnings response coefficient (ERC) in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The sample of this study consisted of 180 companies that met the criteria as the unit of analysis. The analytical method employed was multiple linear regression analysis. The study results provide empirical evidence that CSR, firm size and leverage affected the earnings response coefficient. Meanwhile, growth opportunity and profitability did not affect the earnings response coefficient.","PeriodicalId":271925,"journal":{"name":"Riset Akuntansi dan Keuangan Indonesia","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130303086","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study uses financial performance as a mediating variable. The object of this study is Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020 period. Using a purposive sampling technique, the sample in this study consisted of 150 companies. The data collected from the financial statements are then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The study results show that capital structure positively and significantly affects firm value. Likewise, financial performance shows a positive and significant influence on firm value. The capital structure negatively affects firms' value. Liquidity variables, and company growth, partially do not affect firm value. When testing whether there is a mediating effect, it is found that financial performance cannot mediate the relationship between capital structure and firms' value. Furthermore, financial performance can mediate the relationship between sales growth and firm value.","PeriodicalId":271925,"journal":{"name":"Riset Akuntansi dan Keuangan Indonesia","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128039174","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data analysis in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis with IBM SPSS 25 software. The findings of this study are that partially, CSR on the topic of Environment has no significant effect on corporate resilience, but the topic of Economics and Social affect corporate resilience significantly. Corporate governance on the board of commissioners and directors has no significant effect on corporate resilience, but the board of audit committee significantly affects corporate resilience. Sales growth and corporate size significantly affect the corporate's resilience. The measurement of firm value is carried out using the Book to Market Ratio and Firm Size. The size of institutional investors uses the company's institutional ownership, and the measurement of herding behavior uses the Cross-Sectional Absolute Deviation (CSAD) method.
