The digitalization concept that has been implemented by entrepreneurs who can stand despite the global pandemic outbreak can be an option even with the very potential for entrepreneurs to maximize profits. The practice of using QRIS in Indonesia is still only felt for large markets in urban areas, so it has not been maximally penetrated by markets in rural areas and border areas. As is the case with micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with home-based models that exist in rural areas and only have small capital. As for MSME actors in Prayungan Village, Sawoo District, Ponorogo Regency, the QRIS payment system has the potential to be implemented. This service activity is carried out by Darussalam Gontor University using training and mentoring methods regarding the benefits of the QRIS digital payment system for MSMEs. The purpose of this service is to provide education to MSME actors and be able to transform in the digital era. The results of this service were the realization of making QRIS for MSMEs and the survey results reached 80% who were very satisfied with the implementation of training and assistance for the QRIS payment system for MSMEs.","PeriodicalId":271363,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Practice and Social Welfare","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128541393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The symptoms of leprosy are hardly identified. In fact, some symptoms only can be identified after 20-30 years. Recently, the advent of multidrug therapy (MDT) and the use of anti-inflammatory therapies have given substantial improvements in long-term health outcomes for patients diagnosed with leprosy. However, the medication was a time consuming. Healthy behavior in the management of leprosy treatment requires discipline in taking leprosy medication. On the contrary, poor treatment management will lead to permantent consequnces of disability and deformity. Various Android-based applications have been developed by programmers. Smartphone technology is expected to help patients taking medication in supervising and reminding. In addition, through the cloud based technology the mobile application is expected to be solution as medium of information and communication for every stake holder in dealing with leprosy patients. This research involves a series of software development processes which are divided into several phases. Starting with the identification of the problem, moving on to the design of the application and the API service, to the development and testing of the application using a variety of test scenarios, and concluding with the documentation process. Both the functionality and the design were tested using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and black-box testing. Based on the outcomes of black box testing, the app's functionality work without any issues. The UEQ results show that novelty (Good), stimulation (Good), efficiency (Good), reliability (Above Average), perspicuity (Above Average), and beauty (Good) are all positive (Above Average). According to the UEQ results, the application received the highest efficiency level rating of 1.75, which indicates that it is regarded as having good consumption efficiency and being usable.","PeriodicalId":271363,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Practice and Social Welfare","volume":"645 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116347984","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The human resources competencies in this field are still lacking, resulting in some obstacles in the handling of COVID-19 encountering, thus hampering the acceleration of post-pandemic recovery. The Virus that can spread rapidly requires competent health workers to move as quickly as possible to overcome this pandemic condition. Ignorance of these critical technical matters often occurs so that it affects the identification results, which are expected to be more accurate, precise, and reliable. In a workforce to increase the competency capacity of pharmacist assistants in the biomolecular field, especially in the technical competence of genetic material isolation and PCR methods, the Pharmacy Study Program of Ma Chung University held Webinars and Workshops related to DNA isolation and quality testing. The webinar and workshop on the isolation of genetic material were carried out to implement one of the research topics in the Pharmacy Study Program, especially in the field of development of molecular biology. The essential thing in this webinar and workshop is discussing some critical criteria before the actual virus identification. This program collaborates with PAFI (Indonesian Pharmacy Experts Association) of Batu City as a partner. People who took part in this event consisted of 63 persons from the Batu City and Malang City areas. Most of the participants work in health facilities, with 50% of the participants having isolated genetic material and PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). Spreading the pre and post-test with the same questions increased the average acknowledgment score from 42.9 to 61.1. This indicates that continuous training in this field needs to be held on an ongoing program so that the competence of pharmacists in the field of molecular biology is getting better.","PeriodicalId":271363,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Practice and Social Welfare","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134043705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This activity is motivated by the need to conduct collaborative learning programs with the village for the implementation of research results. Activities oriented towards product implementation as a more comprehensive effort for the downstream process of research results in the service carried out by private universities that can be utilized by the community. Down streaming the results of this research is also the basis for managing collaborative learning activities for the Independent Learning (as suggested by the term MBKM) between Ma Chung University and the village. The issue of the village's desire to switch from a manual system to a computerized system is our focus. In the transition process from manual to computerized system, many information systems are needed, one of which is data digitization. Digitizing the repository allows centralized data so that the village staffs will find them easier to search when needed. Centralized storage media can support verification, namely the process of checking, confirming, and ensuring archives, ensuring the legality and integrity of related files and their relationship to the village. The repository information system implemented at the village office is expected to minimize archiving errors, facilitate data retrieval, avoid lost or damaged documents, and can anticipate data theft. This repository information system also facilitates the process of monitoring, controlling, as well as backing up data. Therefore, this community service has successfully implemented a repository information system for internal village documents.","PeriodicalId":271363,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Practice and Social Welfare","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116854451","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on human life, including the health of people with disabilities. The government makes various policies and programs in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but their implementation is still challenging for people with disabilities. This community service program was carried out in collaboration with Mitra Sejahtera Disability Empowerment Center (PPDMS), an organization empowering people with disabilities in Gunungkidul Regency. Empowerment of people with disabilities was carried out using 'community control' principle in which the community has the control in making decisions regarding the problems they face so that they can adopt a ‘new normal’ lifestyle because of their knowledge. The principle of 'community control' was applied by providing education about COVID-19 situation in Indonesia, the symptoms and signs of COVID-19 infection, wash hands, proper cough etiquette, how to use masks, food and lifestyle that can prevent COVID-19 transmission, as well as about the benefits of COVID-19 vaccination. Education was given with a presentation followed by discussion. Evaluation was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative evaluation using pretest and post-test showed an increase in knowledge. Qualitative evaluation using FGD indicated changes in attitudes and behavior that support the adoption of ‘new normal’ lifestyle to prevent transmission of COVID-19. People with disabilities who have received education disseminate the information obtained to other people with disabilities, resulted in multiplication effect of this empowerment program for people with disabilities.","PeriodicalId":271363,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Practice and Social Welfare","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132477857","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The availability of comprehensive and accurate information in controlling land use for regional development in areas prone to landslides and ground movements is very important for casualty prevention and other losses such as physical, social and economic. This information must be disseminated to the public as an early warning system to support disaster mitigation efforts. Identification of the characteristics of landslide and ground movement prone areas requires the mapping of risk areas to mitigate disasters. This can be done using Geographic Information System (GIS). This mapping activity was carried out using the method of collecting digital data from five vulnerability controlling factors of landslides and ground movements, namely rainfall, rock type, soil type, land cover and slope. The analysis is continued by weighting the factors that influence landslides and ground motion and then overlaying the five controlling factor maps (with their respective weight values) to produce a landslides and ground movement vulnerability level map which is then inputted into WebGIS. This map can then be used by local governments and the public as an information medium to support disaster mitigation activities.","PeriodicalId":271363,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Practice and Social Welfare","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132110600","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This requires education actors, such as educators, education staff, governments, students, and even parents of students to be able to work together in building interactive learning. Online learning is a learning method/way that can motivate students to learn more and achieve learning objectives. However, not all educators can adapt quickly, especially for educators who work in the field at the front lines. This can happen because, over the years, educators have been accustomed to face-to-face or offline teaching models instead of a virtually face-to-face or online model. When learning is carried out online, this becomes a challenge for educators where they have to learn many new things such as the media platforms, new presentation methods, or adapted teaching strategies so that learning can be done effectively. Moreover, an educator is a wheel in learning. Therefore, training on the design of a learning media, especially in the face of this new normal era, is crucial to do. This training activity is carried out using the learning-by-doing method. This method was chosen because the training activities were carried out in a guided manner. Based on the training activities two results can be obtained. First, the training related to the BeDiL learning media has been carried out smoothly. Second, participants can make BeDiL learning media in the form of posters that can be classified into two, namely complete BeDiL posters and incomplete BeDiL posters.","PeriodicalId":271363,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Practice and Social Welfare","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128417897","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Agricultural waste is used as animal feed while livestock waste/excrement is reprocessed into organic fertilizers. The Regional Partnership Service Program (PKW) aims to assist farmers in developing integrated farming businesses based around zero waste agriculture. PKW was held between May and July 2021 in Tindaki Village, South Parigi District, Parigi Moutong Regency. The implementation of this regional partnership program was carried out through a Participatory Action Programs approach, where partners are directly involved in the adoption and application of the various skills that had been developed. The procedure for activity implementation was carried out through several stages, namely: (a) counseling on zero waste agriculture, (b) training in and application of zero waste agriculture technology in the form of demonstration plots for the application of technological products, (c) coaching and mentoring, and (d) the utilization stage of technology product. The findings from the implementation concluded that the agricultural development training based on zero waste agriculture was a success, and the technology had been adopted by the community, marked by the ability to make and develop compost and liquid organic bio-urine fertilizers. Both types of organic fertilizers had been applied in the demonstration plots to assess their effectiveness in reducing the use of inorganic fertilizers. Rice production is equivalent to 5.6 tons/ha and 6 tons/ha in conventional land. These results show potential benefits for farmers, particularly regarding lower production costs compared to the usage of conventional land. Zero waste agriculture is a method of farming and livestock raising that utilizes their waste products for energy production.","PeriodicalId":271363,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Practice and Social Welfare","volume":"111 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130692965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

SANIA MSME was founded by a duck breeder group in 2008 in Kawedusan Ponggok Village, Blitar. Smoked salted eggs are known for their burnt/smoky aroma and greasy egg yolks. Smoked egg production is done manually using the use of smoking drums. These manual devices are only capable of baking 150 grains per day. Meanwhile, damage due to smoking with an oven drum can reach up to 15-20%. This can reduce profits by up to 20% per cycle of the smoking process. Damage occurs when users forget or are too late to lower the drum oven's temperature before it reaches temperatures of 1000C or more. The uneven heat can also result in a reduction to taste and greasiness of the egg yolks. Manual ovens take 7-10 hours at 80-900C to cook. From discussions with partners, it was discovered that they needed egg smoking ovens that feature thermoregulators and can produce even flows of smoke automatically. There is a need for technological innovation in the egg fumigation equipment category in the form of smart egg smoking ovens complete with thermoregulators and automatic smoke airflow systems. Smart ovens have the potential to increase productivity by 75% with a faster smoking process of 3-4 hours. The service method was carried out by way of producing a design for smart ovens, socialization and assistance in the use of the device, assistance in the production of smoked eggs, and program evaluation. The results of the mentoring activity suggested that the production of smoked eggs can increase by 70% with the level of cooking damage sitting at less than 10% and an improvement in the product's taste.","PeriodicalId":271363,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Practice and Social Welfare","volume":"98 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124087946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
