Under conditions of harsh competition like this, the role of a strong image will be increasingly important for service providers in winning competition. It is in this context that Islamic education institutions carry out strategies to improve the image of madrasah. Madrasah  Tsanawiyah 1 Kabupaten Madiun has held the superior class program to improve the madrasah’s image. Based on the process of collecting and analyzing data, researchers produce: (1) Management of a superior class program to improve the image of madrasah in MTsN 1 Madiun Regency, that is: Planning (objectives, programs, budgets). Organizing (organizational structure, educators, students, materials, infrastructure, costs). Implementation (Before teaching, Teaching and After teaching). Evaluation (Formative, Summative, Test and Non-test). (2) obstacles: (a) Planning: Limited budget, Depends on parents' contributions. (b) Organizing: Special curriculum has not yet been realized, Allocation of learning hours, The lack of teaching staff. (c) Implementation: The existence of ups and downs, clash with other importances, facilities that are not quickly met, Limited guidance time, Clash schedule, Test season, Rainy season, Students are not proportional to the number of teachers and teachers have not maximally applied IT based learning. (d) Evaluation: There are changes in report cards from manual to ARD, Not all teachers understand about IT and the limited facilities for evaluation. Al-Mahalli Bantul, Yogyakarta. This research is a comparative study with the quantitative approach. The population is 276 students of MTs. Al-Mahalli Bantul, Yogyakarta. The research sample was the population. The data on character were collected using questionnaire. The validity testing was conducted by expert judgement and exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The reliability was assessed by  Cronbach’s Alpha formula. The data analysis techniques included the descriptive technique, tests of prerequisites analysis, i.e. tests of normality and homogeneity. The hypothesis testing used the independent sample T-test at the significance level of 0,05. The results are as follows. There are several characterdifferences  between students living in pesantren and those living outside pesantren, the result of hypothesis testing shows that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted (t-arithmetic> t table (7,823> 1,971). There are differences in the average value at each new character between the two groups of students. The religious character value of the students living in pesantren is 3.388, while those living outside pesantren is 3,139. The honest character value of the students living in pesantren is 3,071, while those living outside pesantren is 2,844. The tolerance character value of the students living in pesantren is 3,277, while those living outside pesantren is 3,116. The discipline character value of the students living in pesantren is 3,050, while those living outside pesantren is 2,766. The independent character value of the students living in pesantren is 2,815, while those living outside pesantren is 2,504. In East Java, the vocational high school revitalization was accelerated with the target of achieving a percentage of the ratio between SMK and SMA (senior high schools) of 70:30. The East Java provincial government should implement a moratorium on the establishment of SMA and facilitate the process of changing the function of SMA to SMK. However, inviting residents to attend vocational schools is not an easy matter, in fact there are still many vocational schools that are devoid of enthusiasts. The headmaster must be right in choosing a marketing strategy for educational services so that gets students as expected. Qualitative research on the headmaster's strategy in marketing educational services at new educational institutions is important to do in order to get a marketing model that is relevant to the times. This research data collection using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are first, the headmaster's strategy in marketing (SMK BP Subulul Huda) is based on the strategic policy of the islamic boarding school foundation, namely a forward integration strategy. To follow up on the policy, the headmaster prepared a marketing plan using market segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies. Second, marketing implementation is carried out by applying the marketing mix (7P). Third, the headmaster develops educational services that are human-oriented and a marketing approach that is applied using offline and online interactions that are relevant to the Marketing 4.0.   \u0000  \u0000Abstrak \u0000Pada tahun 2016, pemerintah menggalakkan revitalisasi sekolah menengah kejuruan dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas dan daya saing sumber daya manusia Indonesia. Di Jawa Timur, pada tahun 2017 melakukan percepatan revitalisasi sekolah menengah kejuruan tersebut dengan target mencapai persentase perbandingan SMK dan SMA sebesar 70:30. Melalui peraturan Gubernur, diputuskan bahwa pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Timur melakukan moratorium pendirian SMA dan mempermudah proses alih fungsi SMA menjadi SMK. Namun, mengajak warga agar sekolah di SMK bukan perkara mudah, faktanya masih dijumpai SMK yang sepi peminat khususnya SMK di kawasan terjauh dan terdepan, bahkan tidak hanya di pedesaan saja, di kota besar juga ada SMK yang kekurangan murid. Kepala sekolah harus tepat dalam memilih strategi pemasaran jasa pendidikan agar sekolah yang dikelolanya mendapatkan murid sesuai harapan. Saat ini, agar suatu organisasi mampu bertahan tidak cukup hanya mengandalkan kharisma seorang pemimpin, maka diperlukan pula kecerdasan dari seorang pemimpin untuk merespon berbagai perubahan yang terjadi disekitarnya serta melakukan berbagai macam inovasi, baik itu melaui Organizational Development (OD), Team Building maupun Pengembangan Individu untuk membentuk perilaku innovative. Metodologi atau Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode atau pendekatan library research, sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menelaah beberapa buku, jurnal baik yang berbentuk cetak maupun elektronik serta sumber-sumber data dan atau informasi lainnya yang dianggap relevan dengan kajian. Temuan dalam kajian ini kinerja adalah dalam diri manusia terdapat kecerdasan spiritual (spiritual quotient SQ), sebagai salah satu model kepemimpinan yang perlu diadopsi dan mendapat tanggapan dari seorang pemimpin yakni model kepemimpinan spiritual. Multicultural Education provides an understanding of various types of educational activities as an integral part of universal culture. Multicultural education emphasizes a philosophy of cultural pluralism into the education system based on the principles of equality, mutual respect, tolerance, acceptance and understanding. Tolerance in diversity and moral commitment to social justice. Multicultural Education is perceived as an endeavor to achieve the shared life of diverse and heterogeneous human beings in an era of globalization which is full of new challenges. Through multicultural education, students are taught that diversity is a necessity that must be maintained and maintained. The components of multicultural education are directly related to learning objectives, materials, methods, media and evaluations that explain to students about the phenomenon of diversity. The component must be prepared in the implementation of multicultural education that will provide understanding to students such as gender, religion, social, ethnic and urban society. Virtual learning process  membuat semua aspek yang terkait untuk terbiasa secara online pada setiap kegiatan belajar mengajar di pesantren. Walaupun proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung secara virtual namun kontrol terhadap perilaku peserta didik sebagai bagian dari karakter tetap diupayakan agar sama porsinya dengan proses pembelajaran secara langsung. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis melalui tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, presentasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Informan penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas, wali kelas, guru pesantren, dan kepala pesantren. Adapun temuan penelitian terkait manajemen karakter peserta didik di SMP Pesantren Modern Terpadu Prof. Dr. Hamka II Padang adalah: 1) Perencanaan karakter, 2) Pelaksanaan karakter, 3) Pengorganisasian  karakter, 4) Pengevaluasian  karakter dengan berbasis virtual via whatsapp, video pembelajaran, dan google classroom. Character education requires habituation, because characters are not formed instantly, but must be trained seriously and proportionally. Al-Qur'an as a source of ethics and morals certainly has its own views related to character education. The concept of Islamic character values is the basic concept of Islam, namely religion that leads humans to become civilized or morality (ihsan), and it is stated directly by the Messenger of Allah, that he was sent to perfect morality. To be a human being who has a moral mercy must start from the learning process (iqra). From the results of learning that humans can trust (iman) because their knowledge is not because they go along (taqlid), because proof of faith is spoken orally, believed in the heart, practiced through the actions of the limbs. Furthermore, the implementation of faith is Taqwa which means fear of God based on consciousness by doing all His commands and avoiding all His prohibitions and fear of falling into sinful acts. Therefore the ultimate goal of Islamic character values is taqwa in the form of moral mercy. \u0000Keywords: Concept of Character Values, Islamic Character, Human Civilization \u0000Abstrak \u0000Pendidikan karakter bukanlah sebuah proses menghafal materi soal ujian, dan teknik-teknik menjawabnya. Pendidikan karakter memerlukan pembiasaan, karena karakter tidak terbentuk secara instan, tapi harus dilatih secara serius dan proporsional. Al-Qur’an sebagai sumber etika dan moral tentu memiliki pandangan tersendiri terkait dengan pendidikan karakter. Konsep nilai-nilai karakter islami adalah konsep dasar dari agama islam itu sendiri yaitu agama yang menuntun manusia menjadi beradab atau berakhlak karimah (ihsan), dan itu dinyatakan langsung oleh rasulullah saw, bahwa beliau diutus untuk menyempurnakan akhlak. Untuk menjadi manusia yang berakhlak karimah harus yang dimulai dari proses belajar (iqra). Dari hasil belajar itulah manusia dapat mempercayai (beriman) karena ilmunya bukan karena ikut-ikutan (taqlid), karena bukti iman adalah diucapkan dengan lisan, diyakini dalam hati, diamalkan lewat perbuatan anggota badan. Selanjutnya implementasi iman itu adalah Taqwa yang berarti takut kepada Allah berdasarkan kesadaran dengan mengerjakan segala perintah-Nya dan menjauhi segala larangan-Nya serta takut terjerumus dalam perbuatan dosa. Oleh karena itu, peneliti ingin mengangkat sistem layanan bimbingan karier yang ada di salah satu lembaga pendidikan (pondok pesantren) sebagai referensi bagi lembaga pendidikan mana pun dalam memberikan bekal keterampilan kewirausahaan dan etos kerja kepada para siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan bimbingan karier di pondok pesantren dalam menumbuhkan etos kerja Islami. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan yang mengambil lokasi  di Pondok Pesantren Terpadu Al-Mumtaz Gunungkidul Yogyakarta dengan metode penelitian kualitatif. Sedangkan pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga teknik, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan bimbingan karier di pondok pesantren dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu mulai dari perencanaan, penyusunan program, pelaksanaan, sampai evaluasi. Perencanaan tidak terlepas dari visi misi pondok pesantren, dan terlebih dahulu para santri harus lulus mata kuliah dasar umum (MKDU), yaitu macul (mencangkul). Perencanaan lain yang dilakukan oleh pondok pesantren adalah dengan menyiapkan fasilitas atau sarana prasarana produksi. Kemudian bimbingan karier disusun dalam program kewirausahaan serta dilaksanakan dalam bentuk praktik kerja dan ibadah yang kemudian dievaluasi setiap minggu. Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan dikembangkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan lembaga madrasah/ sekolah, dimana sekolah menghendaki pegelolaan kegiatan akademik yang terkomputerisasi sebagai kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan madrasah/ sekolah serta dalam rangka mempermudah dan memperlancar proses belajar mengajar sekolah dan pelayanan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi sistem informasi manajemen pendidikan di MAN 2 Ponorogo dalam bentuk pemanfaatan sistem aplikasi yang terdiri dari pelayanan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan dengan memberdayakan aplikasi SIMPATIKA (Sistem Informasi Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Kementrian Agama), aplikasi pembelajaran e-learning, aplikasi BNI eduPATROL, aplikasi fingerprint baik guru maupun siswa dan aplikasi berbasi web dalam penerimaan peserta didik baru (PPDB).
