Also there has been an exponential increase in the number of cars on road, number of road accidents and vehicle breakdown cases recorded. Finding effective ways to achieve maximum fuel efficiency without hampering the internal structure of these vehicles along with providing a response system to combat mishaps is a challenging task. In this paper, an android application is proposed which monitors parameters like Engine RPM, fuel status, throttle position through an On board Diagnostics (OBD-II) being able to help amateur drivers with gear changing and provide assistance in case of vehicle breakdown. The paper presents fingerprint authentication system using filter bank based matching algorithm. The algorithm uses Gabor filter bank to extract features of fingerprints. These features are then compared for identification and recognition of a person. The Euclidian distance is used to compare feature vector of query image with feature vectors of database fingerprints. Two sets of databases FVC2000 and DBIT are used for evaluating the performance and efficiency of the algorithm. The studies were conducted with variation in parameters of pH, biomass concentration, contact time and initial dye concentration. The nature of the possible adsorbent and metal ion interactions was examined by the FTIR technique. Adsorption of Methylene Blue onto French green beans could be described by the Freundlich model while Langmuir model with a maximum adsorption capacity of 62.5 mg/g was followed by Lotus Stem. The experimental data was modelled using pseudo-first and pseudo-second-order kinetic equations. Steep pressure increase (upsurge) and decrease (downsurge) are often generated by such events and the pressure upset quickly propagates over the system along the associated pipeline. The pressure wave propagation may cause over pressurization or vacuum; sometimes it may also induce secondary pressure upset due to vapour cavity formation and collapse (vaporization and condensation) at highly elevated portions, dead ends, etc. Steep pressure changes may induce impulsive fluid dynamic loads on the pipeline which may cause serious piping vibration and damage to pipe supports, valve and equipment casings. An attempt has been made to model and simulate the flow in water mains to identify the magnitude and location of upsurge and downsurge pressures in the pipeline. A program has been developed to serve this purpose using the object oriented programming approach. The method of characteristics is used to compute the flow parameters. A GUI is created to model the system and obtain real time system data as graphical outputs and spreadsheets which can be easily interpreted by the user. Thus the simulation helps decide the kind of safety device required in the water mains. It has many benefits over its predecessors, which developed power using only fuel. The thought is to design and construct a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) powered by battery as well as petrol. The vehicle is made dynamic in nature by making use of electrical power from battery and fuel power. It consumes less fuel and creates comparatively less pollution as compared to conventional vehicles. Hybrid electric vehicles consists of a battery, to drive the electric motor and power system with an IC engine to increase fuel economy reduce harmful emissions from the exhaust. Also there is a provision for recharging the battery using a generator which is run using a turbine, which runs on the exhaust of the IC engine. In HEV, the battery single handedly provides power for driving at low speeds where the efficiency of IC engine is least. In cruising and high load conditions like moving up the hill, the electric power assists the engine by providing additional power. The industry continues to grow rapidly by expanding its footprint into unexplored verticals and newer technologies. It is imperative that the IT workforce is one that is competent, versatile and adaptive. Numerous studies have determined that there is a direct correlation between the success achieved in a particular job role and the personality traits that an individual possesses. This study focuses on identifying suitable job roles for an individual who seeks a career in the IT sector by analyzing their personality. Additionally, an attempt is made to suggest potentially beneficial and currently relevant skills that the individual could acquire to excel in the suggested job roles. The study uses Holland Codes to understand the individuals' personality and to identify these job roles. Additionally, the five factor model is used to further strengthen the quality of the recommendation made.
