Zanika poczucie grzechu, co skutkuje brakiem potrzeby przystępowania do sakramentu pokuty i pojednania. Mimo tych niesprzyjających tendencji europejskiej kultury wiele osób wierzących korzysta nadal z tego sakramentu. Z sakramentem pokuty nierozerwalnie związana jest tajemnica spowiedzi nazywana „pieczęcią sakramentalną” (sigillum sacramentale). Artykuł opisuje normy prawne zawarte w Kodeksie Prawa Kanonicznego z 1983 r. oraz Kodeksie Katolickich Kościołów Wschodnich, które w jasny i jednoznaczny sposób określają zakres sigillum i secretum oraz wskazują podmioty zobowiązane do ich zachowania, a także źródła tego zobowiązania. Tajemnica sakramentalna jest nienaruszalna, absolutna do tego stopnia, iż szafarz sakramentu nie tylko nie może zdradzić penitenta i jego grzechów wobec osób trzecich, ale również zabrania się mu korzystania z wiadomości, które pozyskał w związku ze sprawowaniem sakramentu pokuty. Oprócz dyscypliny pokutnej wyznania katolickiego artykuł zawiera próbę ujęcia praktyki pokutnej w Kościołach i wspólnotach eklezjalnych niebędących w jedności ze Stolicą Apostolską. Wolsza","doi":"10.25167/SO.2005","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.25167/SO.2005","url":null,"abstract":"The philosophy of religion constituted one of the main fields of research by Prof. Józef Herbut. He created an original version of the analytical philosophy of religion. With the use of logical means, he analysed various dimensions of religion, primarily religious language. During the last period of his work, Herbut included ecumenical issues in his philosophical research. His research on these issues consisted of two stages. During the first stage, Herbut tried to create a specific logic of ecumenism. He hypothesised that the reason for the crisis of ecumenical dialogue consists in the lack of a clearly defined goal. Using the logical set theory, Herbut constructed possible models of doctrinal unity of different denominations. These models were constructed a priori, without reference to actual dialogues. During the second stage of his project, Herbut focused on the content of Catholic and Evangelical doctrines presented in catechisms. Here, he also put forward a research hypothesis that the languages of Catholic and Evangelical theology are different because they include different philosophical assumptions. These assumptions reach back to the medieval problem of universals. The language of Catholic theology is heavily influenced by moderate realism, and the language of Evangelical theology is influenced by moderate nominalism (these are two of the four standpoints in the problem of universals). Herbut's research project is original and innovative in terms of Polish philosophical and theological literature. First, it influences the teaching of many preachers who employ this approach to capture new believers on the one hand, and it is sharply criticised by many prominent Evangelical theologians who regard it as a serious heresy, a deception of many Christians, on the other. Second, it is a matter of profound theological question raised from the very core of Christian faith and asking how to find a delicate balance between Jesus' calling to bear the cross and his blessing from the Sermon on the Mount. The most frequent framework is the one that considers the prosperity gospel as the distortion of the substantial Evangelical tenets, and that stems from the various ideological and sociological processes in the 19th United States. The article offers a brief outline of the prosperity message and answers the following research questions: What is the prosperity gospel? What are the roots of it? What are the most critical theological points of the prosperity teaching? What charges are raised by the critics from the Evangelical background?
