This method is suitable for the development of digital control and signal processing systems with higher precision and lower delay characteristics by parallelizing the computation process. The program algorithms that allow the automatic conversion of the dynamical system models in the form of a transfer function or zero-pole-gain model to the sum of first and second order transfer functions are represented. A validation of the described method is made by creating and simulating dynamical system model in NI LabVIEW development system. Analysis of the efficiency and accuracy of the derived solution in the time domain is performed. It is shown that the proposed implementation of a dynamical system model can replace the classical approaches to implementation, and is suitable for solving the current problems of digital signal processing.","PeriodicalId":268759,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE NW Russia Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference (EIConRusNW)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133265030","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With established topology, voltage overshoot is sufficiently analyzed theoretically. To minimize voltage overshoot, this paper optimized the structure of main circuits, snubber capacitors and drive circuits. When dealing with main circuits structure, a low inductance busbar design with optimal capacitors arrangement is proposed for stray inductance minimization. For drive circuits, active clamp circuits are adopted to limit current reduction. Take minimized stray inductance and active clamped circuits into consideration, mathematic model between snubber capacitors and voltage overshoot is proposed for optimization. In the end, feasibility and improved performance are demonstrated with simulation and experiments.","PeriodicalId":268759,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE NW Russia Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference (EIConRusNW)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128600905","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper will review of a classical SVPWM technique with various switching sequences of the base space vectors (BSVs) within the range of sampling periods for three level NPC converters. The studies by mathematical modeling of the three level NPC converter and SVPWM technique in the Matlab/Simulink program were carried out. It was established that the increasing of switching sequence of the BSVs within the range of the sampling period can be used for decreasing of total harmonic distortional (THD). The THD diagrams of the various switching sequences of the BSVs within the different range of the sampling periods for the three level NPC converter are presented. The research results can be used to assess the EMC powerful three level NPC active rectifiers or inverters and select switching sequence of the BSVs within the range of the sampling period to minimize the THD voltage and current.","PeriodicalId":268759,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE NW Russia Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference (EIConRusNW)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125800428","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In general, the parameters should be estimated using provided data, however, in some cases, it can be defined empirically. The present work focuses on estimation of the coefficient in the energy functional that computes a weighted area of the region inside the contour and speeds up its motion toward the object boundaries. The paper discusses a new approach for the coefficient estimation comprised the image features such as mean and variance values of pixel intensities and image gradients. The advantages of the precise estimation of this parameter are following: (1) the convergence of the evaluation process is getting faster if the value of the coefficient in the weighted area term is higher that, therefore, may speed up the curve evolution; (2) the contour may pass through the object boundary in some lower contrast images if the coefficient is too large, thus the calculation of the coefficient may avoid this effect called boundary leakage. The provided result shows that the suggested approach on parameter estimation can increase the speed and quality of the convergence driving the motion of the zero level curve in images with different contrast.","PeriodicalId":268759,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE NW Russia Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference (EIConRusNW)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133062078","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, cloud approach can be used effectively in other applications. In this paper, we explore applicability of cloud paradigm in mobile robotics. First approach is using some classic cloud architectures, such as Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service and Software-as-a-Service, with heterogeneous distributed mobile robotic system - for example, it can be used to offload a time consuming computations from mobile platforms to remote nodes or services. Second approach is using some special “robotic” types of clouds, such as Robot-as-a-Service and Function-as-a-Service to leverage abilities of a single robotics platform in mobile robotic system as services to robotic system's users or other mobile robotic platforms. We explore both approaches and give them some architectural examples.","PeriodicalId":268759,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE NW Russia Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference (EIConRusNW)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122195120","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
