One of the methods is a clustering-based method whose centroids are interpreted as topics, i.e., eigenspace-based fuzzy c-means (EFCM). The clustering process of the EFCM method is performed in a smaller dimensional Eigenspace. Thus, the accuracy of the clustering process may be reduced. In this paper, we use the kernel method so that the clustering process is performed in a higher dimensional space without transforming data into that space. But the uneven development of ICT among provinces in Indonesia has resulted in a digital divide. In order to bridge the gap, a guideline is needed to indicate which provinces need more attention in ICT development. This research aims to measure and to classify the level of the digital divide that occurred in 34 provinces of Indonesia using Digital Divide Index (DIDIX) introduced by Hüsing and Selhofer. The convenience offered has made many people use it in daily life and discuss it on social media. As a result, ride-hailing service providers utilize social media for capturing customers' opinions and marketing their services. If customers' statements about ride-hailing services are analyzed further, service providers can get insight for evaluating their services to meet customers' satisfaction. Text mining approach can be useful to analyze large number of posts and various writing styles to extract hidden information. Furthermore, by applying topic modeling, service providers can identify the important points that were spoken by customers without previously giving label or category to the text. Latent Dirichlet Allocation was used in this study to extract topics based on the posts from ride-hailing customers published on Twitter. This study used 40 parameter combinations for LDA to get the best one to obtain the topics. Based on the perplexity value, there were 9 topics discussed by customers in their posts including the top words in each topic. Previous studies revealed that software lifespan can be very short as short as 1–3 years. At the same time, the lifespan depends on the quality of the software. Software ageing is defined as deterioration of quality gradually and further decline the relevancy of the software to the users and environment. Therefore, a software ageing framework is demanded to measure and assess the ageing of software product grounded on certain ageing factors. Based on the ageing assessment result, the rejuvenation actions will be suggested to improve the quality of the software and help prevent quality degradation of the product. Software rejuvenation model proposed in this paper is an effort to assist the owners of the software in order to know the relevancy level of the software in their operating environment. Whereas potential access to a larger and more diverse customer base is generally viewed as an opportunity, it can also represent increase in competition among e-commerce platforms. Hence, e-commerce needs to develop sophisticated strategies to attract and retain customers, one of which is done through personalization in web services. Recommendation system, one form of web service personalization in e-commerce platform, predicts user preferences and helps them find products that they may be interested in by implementing web mining techniques. This empirical research investigated user web log data which illustrate behavior and implicit preferences of customers in one of e-commerce in Indonesia to predict user preferred product category in their future request. In this study, model-based recommendation system was built based on users' activity in a session and site type using C5.0 algorithm of decision tree technique. Topics are basic components that are often used to analyze data in the textual forms, such as the news article. By using topic modeling, topics can be detected automatically on large news documents which are difficult to perform manually. One of the topic modeling that can be used is the clustering-based method, i.e., Eigenspace-based Fuzzy C-Means (EFCM). The common initialization method of EFCM is random. However, this random initialization usually produces different topics for each run. Therefore, we consider Non-Negative Double Singular Value Decomposition (NNDSVD) as an initialization method of EFCM. PT. XYZ receives large quantities of goods and place it in the reserve area. However, in the order picking activity, the goods mostly delivered to the customer in small quantity, so the goods are stored in two types, the products that stored on the pallet that been placed on the rack (reserve area) and the product in the form of retail that came from bulky and placed into the bin (forward area) by the replenishment operator. The problem that PT XYZ faced is not only when the product doesn't exist, but also when the product is not replenished to the forward area. There is so much product left in the reserve area and haven't been replenished to the forward area because there is lack of coordination between the replenishment operator and the picker. One of the strategies to speed up order picking and to deal with small quantities in the order lines is to operate a forward area from which the most demanded products can be picked quickly. Performance is a recap of results over a given period of time. The effort to stay competitive among similar e-commerce sites is measured by their performance in the content characteristics strategy to engage the customer on social network services or social media, such as Facebook. Most companies use similar strategy to support Social Customer Relationship Management (SCRM) effort and their content engagement value. E-commerce is included in the sector which also utilizes social media to interact with their customers. Hence, using social media data provides a new practical way to measure SCRM effort. The more active SCRM networks generally have positive impact on the company performance. In this paper, we use Social Network Analysis (SNA) method and descriptive analysis to evaluate the SCRM and to measure content performance based on engagement value (EV). IPS can be installed on SDN network that has centralized logic architecture, so that IPS doesnt need to be installed on lots of nodes instead it has to be installed alongside the controller as center of logic network. IPS still has a flaw and that is the block duration would remain the same no matter how often a specific host attacks. For this reason, writer would like to make a system that not only integrates IPS on the SDN, but also designs an adaptive IPS by utilizing a fuzzy logic that can decide how long blocks are based on the frequency variable and type of attacks. From the results of tests that have been done, SDN network that has been equipped with adaptive IPS has the ability to detect attacks and can block the attacker host with the duration based on the frequency and type of attacks.
