Traverten, doğal taş olarak değerlendirilen kayaçlar içerisinde en önemli kayaçlardan biridir. Anadolu’da kullanılmış olan en eski doğal taşlardan olan travertenler aynı zamanda turizm ve kültür yönüyle de oldukça önemlidir. Özellikle, coğrafi işareti bulunan Denizli Traverteni bu duruma güzel bir örnektir. Denizli bölgesinde, güncel olarak oluşumları devam eden travertenler bir kültür, tarih, turizm ve tanıtım elçisi konumunda iken jeolojik olarak daha yaşlı olanları doğal taş sektörü açısından oldukça önemlidir. Denizli bölgesi dışında Kütahya, Ankara, Karabük, Kayseri ve Sivas bölgeleri traverten madenciliğinde önemli üretim alanlarıdır. Ekonomik olarak değerlendirilen travertenler, bilimsel ve ticari travertenler olarak ikiye ayrılır. Ticari travertenler genel olarak genç yaşlı kireçtaşlarıdır. Türkiye traverten üretimi son yıllarda geçmiş yıllara oranla artış göstermiştir. İhracat açısından miktar ve değer yönüyle blok ve işlenmiş traverten, doğal taş ihracatı içerisinde önemli oranlardadır. Bu çalışmada, travertenin özellikleri, madenciliği, tarihi ve kullanımı yönünde bilgi verilerek, Türkiye açısından önemi vurgulanmıştır.","PeriodicalId":262610,"journal":{"name":"AURUM Journal of Engineering Systems and Architecture","volume":"123 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139218084","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, Ultrawide Band (UWB) technology, used in wireless applications, relies on this antenna. The UWB frequency range is 3.1 to 10.6 GHz, allowing low-power wireless applications such as wireless music, personal localization, radio frequency recognition, radar, and HD video dissemination. However, this frequency band's broadness increases interference. This contribution research formulates simulates, and optimises a modified small-square M-MSA that meets UWB technology's huge bandwidth requirements. A square radiated patch, a dielectric material with a thickness of 1 mm and 4.7 relative permittivity, a partly ground plane printed on the patch's face, and a coplanar waveguide feed make up the M-MSA design. The M-MSA design is modified to reduce the patch's bottom corners and change its proportions to enable compatibility with the UWB complete band. A U-shaped aperture on the patch should be etched to produce a bandgap in UWB frequencies, reducing interference. Filling the aperture with graphene allows bandgap tunability. The graphene's bandgap dissipates with DC voltage, but without biassing, its high impedance restricts aperture current flow. The bandgap's effect is seen at 3.87-4.85 GHz. After simulation and tweaking, gain and efficiency improved significantly. The bandgap region, which was chosen to reduce interference from military fixed communications, mobile communications, unmanned aerial vehicles, short-range radio links, satellite communications, and the low band of 5G, also exhibits a significant increase in attenuation and gain degradation.","PeriodicalId":262610,"journal":{"name":"AURUM Journal of Engineering Systems and Architecture","volume":"28 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139272138","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Risks for product quality and process robustness also increase in parallel with complex practices existing in the pharmaceutical industry and emerging as a result of developments. Although it is challenging to eliminate parameters leading to increased risks, there is need to appropriately manage the risks likewise arrange decision making processes. Designing and optimizing formulation and production processes to deliver the predetermined product quality is known as Quality by Design (QbD) in pharmaceutical development. In terms of data and knowledge, QbD can be carried out using a variety of technologies in this process. Mathematical modelling is one of these tools allows for the quick formation of subject knowledge, which may subsequently be used in an independent or integrated manner and to produce Design of Experiments (DOE). Response surface method (RSM), Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Genetic Algorithm (GA) are some of the assistive technologies used in mathematical modelling that enables to enlighten the effect of formulation and process variables on product quality attributes. The use of advanced mathematical modelling techniques in formulation and process development has become widespread and it appears to be beneficial in different areas of pharmaceutical development.","PeriodicalId":262610,"journal":{"name":"AURUM Journal of Engineering Systems and Architecture","volume":"31 1-2 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139282452","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the industrial processes that has received such attention regarding defects is the weaving process. A controller parameter tuning of the SSA method and its application to the LFC of a multi-source power system with several power generating sources. Derive to the controller parameters, a single area telecommunications device that permits two power system with integrated controlles according to each unit is considered first, and the SSA approach is used. The tunned SSA algorithm is used to optimize the integral (I), proportional integral (PI), and proportional integral derivative (PID) parameters. The research is expanded to include a multi-area multi-source power system, as well as an HVDC link is proposed for connectivity of two regions in addition to the current AC point of intersection. This same tunned SSA method is used to improve the parameters of the Integral (I), Proportional Integral (PI), and Proportional - integral - derivative Derivative (PID). An efficient smart campus or smart classroom will make the learning more and more easily, the students could learn and give the best activities. In addition, the teachers will be able to make right decisions. To achieve this goal, the smart classroom's conditions must be ideal. Since ACO (ant colony optimization algorithm) is a meta heuristic algorithm, in this paper, it is found that ACO, in conjunction with a machine learning classifier, was an effective method used in feature selection for selecting best features from an intelligent campus data set to create an environment that is conducive to academic success and student learning, such as (humidity and temperature), lighting and sound pressure levels, wind direction, and raw rainfall amounts (among other variables). In this contribution to get the most accurate results, the ACO algorithm was combined with a logistic regression classifier that was used to select the best features.
