A research question was raised to elicit information from respondents on parents’ perception on communication on adolescents’ sexual health. Also, one hypothesis was generated to examine the relationship between parents’ perception and communication on adolescents’ sexual health. The descriptive research of the survey type was adopted. Seven hundred and twenty-one (721) parents were purposively and proportionally selected using multi-stage random sampling techniques. A selfconstructed questionnaire was used. Data were analysed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The result shows that a majority of the respondents had proper perception on discussions on sexual health with adolescents. Also, parents’ perception significantly influenced communication on adolescents’ sexual health. The study recommends that parents and stakeholders should note the findings on the variables of interest and plan adequate counselling programmes.","PeriodicalId":262516,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of e-Healthcare Information Systems","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131019507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Current policy initiatives in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) are attempting major reforms in primary care with EHRs as a key component. Understanding human factors involved in the implementation process of technology is crucial for its successful implementation. The aim of this paper is to support current policy initiatives by investigating and identifying factors that are likely to affect primary care physicians’ acceptance of EHRs. Factors were identified based on extensive literature reviews and empirical findings. Three main stages of literature review were conducted: (1) factors influencing user adoption of IT, (2) factors affecting physician adoption of EHR, and (3) findings of relevant studies pertaining EHR adoption by physicians in the KSA. As a result, we developed an integrated framework of eight factors that were proven to have a significant direct influence on physicians’ acceptance of EHRs: attitude, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, social influence, computer self-efficacy, perceived threat to physician autonomy, confidentiality concerns, and physician participation. The proposed framework will be of great potential to policy makers to make the transition to EHRs run smoothly.","PeriodicalId":262516,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of e-Healthcare Information Systems","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132310303","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this article, I want to show how it is possible to re-stimulate damaged neural pathways using insights drawn from a newly developed cognitive model, and, to show anecdotal evidence from an ongoing longitudinal qualitative study that began in 2010. The original study was started to seek support and to validate the hypothesis that; cognition is equal to an emotional response to absurd notions, thoughts, idea, etc., and that; where the individual (mind) achieves resolve, the physical brain would rest, and the body would enter relaxation phase or the; “relaxation response” [1], equal to post fight or flight, thus allowing toxins to freely flush from the body through the urine as vital organs would become unstressed, and that resolve may be inherently human. It is in the study of Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease which shows us that Neural pathways in the brain can become damaged, and/or lay dormant, and it is in this research and study that we believe that we have discovered a novel approach to assist in the problem of K-12 Teacher stress and mental health, by re stimulating dormant neural pathways which inherently make it possible to exist within this modern day environment without succumbing to the adverse effects of stress","PeriodicalId":262516,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of e-Healthcare Information Systems","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121290042","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
