One of the non-pharmacological measures that can be done to reduce the intensity of pain is warm ginger compresses. Ginger contains essential oils with active ingredients school, gingerol, paradol and zingerone which are warm and can promote blood circulation. This study aims to determine the effect of ginger warm compresses on the reduction in pain intensity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. This type of research is a pre-experiment with one group design pre-post test design. This research was conducted in May-2017. The samples in this study were 15 people who suffered from rheumatoid arthritis pain with consecutive sampling data collection techniques. \u0000The results showed the intensity of rheumatoid arthritis pain before the warm ginger compress (pre-test) was average with moderate pain intensity. While the intensity of pain after a warm ginger compress (post-test) is average with mild pain intensity. Based on Wilcoxon's alternative paired t-test, p-value 0,000 (<0.05) means that there is a significant influence between the effect of warm ginger compresses on the decrease in pain intensity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. It is hoped to further develop several variables and add a long time to the administration of warm ginger compresses in rheumatoid arthritis so that the results of research on ginger warm compresses to reduce pain intensity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis are more optimal and can provide more accurate research results.","PeriodicalId":262158,"journal":{"name":"Comprehensive Health Care","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126675656","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The level of compliance with the use of pulmonary TB drugs is very important and requires a long time that is 6-8 months, because if treatment is not carried out regularly or is not compliant and does not correspond to the specified time then there will be resistance (resistance) of tuberculosis germs against drugs Widespread Anti Tuberculosis (OAT) or Multi Drugs Resistance (MDR). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between motivation, attitudes, the role of supervisors taking medication (PMO) in TB sufferers. The design of the study used an Analytical Observational design using the Cross-Sectional approach. The population in this study were all TB sufferers in Bulukumba District with a sampling technique using cluster sampling. The number of samples in this study were 60 respondents. Data were obtained through questionnaire sheets made by researchers to respondents. Data analysis used Fisher's alternative Chi-square Test, with significance level α = 0.05. The results of the data analysis show that the motivation variable p = 0.023, the attitude variable p = 0.012, and the role of the supervisor for taking medication (PMO) p = 0.017. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between motivation, attitude, the role of supervisors taking medication (PMO) with adherence to taking medication in TB patients in Bulukumba Regency.","PeriodicalId":262158,"journal":{"name":"Comprehensive Health Care","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128477774","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Learning outcomes will be optimal if there is motivation. Seeing the phenomena there are still many nursing students of Panrita Husada Bulukumba who obtained the final GPA while in the low category. Not only that, but there are also some complaints during the lecture process that are obtained from interviews with students who can interfere with the learning process. This study aims to determine the relationship of extrinsic motivation in terms of the role of the lecturer, the condition of the learning environment, the learning methods used by the lecturer, facilities, and infrastructure with the learning achievements of nursing students. This research uses a quantitative analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was 297 respondents. The number of samples was 100 respondents using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection method is done by using bivariate questionnaire sheets using Fisher's exact test. The results showed that there was a significant difference in proportion or relationship between the role of lecturers and learning achievement (p = 0.003), learning environment conditions and learning achievement (p = 0.043), lecturer learning methods and learning achievement (p = 0.029), facilities and infrastructure with learning achievement (p = 0.040). The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between extrinsic motivation (the role of the lecturer, the condition of the learning environment, the lecturer learning method, and learning support facilities or facilities and infrastructure) with the learning achievement of the nursing student Panrita Husda Bulukumba.","PeriodicalId":262158,"journal":{"name":"Comprehensive Health Care","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130380612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This event does not only occur in Indonesia but also in other countries. From the results of preliminary studies conducted by researchers, more respondents experienced low self-esteem than moderate and high self-esteem. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hypnotherapy on increasing the confidence of students in the fourth semester of the S1 undergraduate study program in the learning process at Stikes Panrita Husada Bulukumba. This research method uses a Pre-experimental design with the One group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. Sampling was done by a systematic random sampling technique. The population in this study was 46 people. The sample in this study were 19 people. Data analysis uses the Marginal Homogeneity alt Wilcoxon test. The results of SPSS analysis using the statistical test Marginal Homogeneity alt Wilcoxon obtained the value (p = 0.001) so that it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between hypnotherapy on increasing the confidence of fourth-semester students of a nursing S1 study program in the learning process at Stikes Panrita Husada Bulukumba.","PeriodicalId":262158,"journal":{"name":"Comprehensive Health Care","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133444290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
