The appearance of the printed book contributed to the increase in learning how to write and read. The faster multiplication of texts, within reach of a wider audience, with the desire to enable the transport for reading or consult at any time, increased the demand for books in small format, in a “portable format”. The emergence of a reading public, directly associated with initiatives to promote education, the various transformations in the book production process, as well as the reconfiguration of the book format and its availability in pocket size through decisions focused on the needs of the readers, have contributed significantly to the popularisation of books, and reading.Today, it is possible to read printed books with various formal characteristics and from different digital formats on various reading devices, such as computers, tablets, e-readers, and smartphones. If untreated, these issues may develop into chronic pain and more serious injuries. Current affordable solutions only address symptoms of pain without tackling the underlying root causes. By connecting users to caregivers, literature, and exercises, the LAAF (Live Active and Agony Free) platform aims to enhance the connected strategy in each user’s healthcare journey by emphasizing a holistic and complete approach to chronic pain management and prevention. LAAF has two new updates in the insoles and the mobile app. A new, dynamic flexible Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design allows the LAAF insole to support multiple shoe sizes with a single flexible PCB, making the product more cost-effective. Updates to the mobile app include several new parameters which will further assist caregivers in diagnosing and prescribing personalized corrective measures. Aging inevitably reduces older adults’ physical capacity (e.g., mobility) and further affects their ability to live independently or perform daily activities. Walking aids (e.g., canes) are generally used as assistive devices to provide physical support and reduce fall risk in daily activities. Given the rapid development of artificial intelligence algorithms and hardware computing capability, smart walking aids with functions like fall alert, health monitoring, and positioning have become promising in elderly care. However, it remains unclear whether community-dwelling older adults are ready for smart walking aids. The present study aims to explore community-dwelling older adults’ attitudes and perceptions of smart walking aids, especially on the functions of fall alert, health monitoring, pill reminder, positioning, and topography detection. The results are expected to guide future designs of smart walking aids to increase users’ well-being in daily life. A convenience sampling method was applied to collect data via an online questionnaire for demographic information, attitudes, and design expectations toward smart walking aids. Chi-square tests and binary logistic regression models were used to analyze the associations among demographics, attitudes, and design expectations. The data were collected from 264 valid respondents (148 males and 116 females; 60.5±7.4 years). The results showed safety assurance, sturdy products, and additional intelligent functions were the most expected design elements in smart walking aids. Community-dwelling older adults preferred three intelligent functions: fall alert, health monitoring, and positioning. However, complex operations would resist users from adopting smart walking aids, showing the importance of usability in future designs. No significant group differences were found in purchase preference and attitudes toward smart walking aids among gender (p > 0.06), education (p > 0.35), and living arrangement (p > 0.06). The results of binary logistic regressions showed that individuals with a user history of smart walking aids are about ten times more likely to buy smart walking aids than those with no user history (p = 0.025, OR = 10.376). Older adults aged 71-80 preferred smart walking aids over other age groups (p = 0.048). Individuals aged 61-70 years are more interested in the intelligent functions of fall alert (p = 0.002) and health monitoring (p = 0.021). Community-dwelling older adults showed positive attitudes to smart walking aids with functions such as fall alerts, health monitoring, and positioning to support their independence in their daily lives. In this work, we proposed Literador, an Intelligent Tutoring System for Spanish writing. By incorporating different Natural language Processing tools, Literador can analyze and provide feedback on the different aspects of a text, beyond just content. These tools are the Spanish-trained language model BETO, the text complexity analyzer Trunajod, and regular expressions to identify the use of key lexical elements. The system is the initiative of the joint efforts of leading agencies and is designed to modernize several processes involving fiscal obligations, reducing the bureaucracy that limits Brazilian companies. The use of the online platform eSocial will be compulsory for companies, including SMEs and the self-employees that hire collaborators. The purpose of this paper is to describe the implementation of an online platform in a small business that specializes in wholesale metal products. This paper deals with the form upgrading of virtual avatar in the meta-universe and investigates its construction method by combing and analyzing the construction of virtual avatar.Methods: Through literature research, the evolution of the definition and design of virtual avatar was analyzed, and the actual case was summarized. The framework and paradigm of virtual avatar construction in the meta-universe are summarized by combining the theoretical experience in the early stage with the technology provided in the later stage.Conclusion: The meta-universe breaks through the limitation of dimension, and gives mankind a broader and long-term space for activities in the space-time dimension. As a media form, virtual avatar expands the sensory dimension through \"entry\", \"presence\" and \"interactive experience\". With the expansion and simulation of sensory dimension, the boundary between real and virtual begins to blur. Recently, the service quality is discussed in the context of the “user experience”. But it should be noted that the quality of service experience is different from that of user experience for the product in terms of its intangibility, inseparability of production and consumption, heterogeneity and perishability as was proposed by Zeithaml et al. (1985). The important point of the discussions on the user experience that we can apply to the service experience is that the quality of experience should be analyzed and discussed not from the stance of the manufacturer (or the service-provider) but from that of the user (or the customer). In other words, designers and engineers cannot design the user experience per se but can only design “for” the user experience. Keeping social distance and wearing masks helps prevent the spread of coronavirus, and also makes online social platforms increase in demand in an unprecedented way (Flynn, 2008). Prolonged social isolation during COVID-19 is likely to have negative effects on mental health and communication on an individual. Researchers have found evidence for caused and elevated anxiety disorders such as somatization, post-traumatic stress disorder, panic disorders and depression amongst individuals during the COVID-19 pandemic (Meikle, 2016). Numerous studies have found that people only show their “good side” and positive emotions on social media. How does social media reveal our anxiety disorders during Covid? Do emotions expressed in pictures match with its text content on social media? In this research, 500 most recent selfies from individual accounts between December 1st and 10th in 2021 from age ranges 13 to 55 years old were downloaded for the study. The study used IBM Watson tone analyzer and Sky-Biometry as tools for linguistic analysis and emotion detection.
