The differences in UPFC topology and its control strategies have an important impact on its output characteristics. Firstly, the UPFC topology and its control strategy are summarized in the paper, and then the power flow regulation mechanism is also analyzed. The mathematical models of series and parallel side converters are established in the three phase stationary coordinate, the UPFC model and its control characteristics are analyzed in the two- phase rotating(d q) and stationary (α β) coordinate system, and design the control strategies under the a P coordinate system to realize decoupling control. Finally, the UPFC simulation model based on MMC is built in the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation environment to simulate and analyze the adjustment characteristics of active and reactive power flow.","PeriodicalId":257974,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE Innovative Smart Grid Technologies - Asia (ISGT Asia)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123613646","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a Discrete Fourier transform (DFT) of power distribution method is established to measure the response characteristics of electrical and thermal storage. The proposed method ensures that the electrical storage and thermal storage work in their respective appropriate states. After the DFT decomposition, the corresponding electrical storage operation strategy is modeled in the high frequency subsystem, while thermal energy storage in the low frequency subsystem considering temperature control of thermal load. On this basis, a bi-level capacity optimization model with the minimum equivalent annual cost as the objective function is established which can simultaneously determine the allocation of energy storage and their capacity configuration. Case study is given to verify the effectiveness and economy of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":257974,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE Innovative Smart Grid Technologies - Asia (ISGT Asia)","volume":"18 8","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120887996","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this area,making an effective pricing scheme remains a particular challenge. In this paper, a novel pricing scheme based on evaluation mechanism is proposed, which provide a market-oriented scheme for driving peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading and optimizing prospective earnings for all households in the microgrid. The evaluation mechanism as a feedback on the historical energy service level of households can make them with better evaluation coefficient have more advantages in optimal quotation point (OQP) and improve the efficiency of the electricity market. Furthermore, the proposed scheme is applied to simulate, and according to the simulation results, the more bidders participate in the auction, the less the prospective earnings are. In addition, when the number of bidders is same, the lower evaluation coefficient, the higher prospective earnings.","PeriodicalId":257974,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE Innovative Smart Grid Technologies - Asia (ISGT Asia)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121487439","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In wind energy system, multi-phase permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) used is superior than traditional three phase generator due to its lower torque ripple, high efficiency, high reliability and high-power generation. As its power conversion equipment, modular multilevel converter (MMC) has shown well application performances in high-power and high-voltage wind systems. In this paper, MMC is applied as the AC/DC converter to six-phase PMSG variable speed constant frequency offshore wind system. Six-phase PMSG-MMC model is built based on the vector space decomposition theory. An optimal electromagnetic torque reference control method, combining the principle of the maximum power point tracing, ensures the minimum torque ripple and minimum harmonics. Additionally, a voltage averaging and voltage balancing method of sub-modular is adopted to suppress voltage fluctuation. The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed topology is verified in simulation results.","PeriodicalId":257974,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE Innovative Smart Grid Technologies - Asia (ISGT Asia)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114828623","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the existing models lack research on distributed transaction algorithms. In this paper, a nucleolus model for profit allocation of distributed generation transactions is proposed first. Based on the model, a low-carbon trading strategy suitable for distributed users is proposed considering the differences in carbon emissions between different distributed power sources. The trading strategy is designed for individual users and is suitable for both power purchasers and sellers. Then, trading mechanism is designed for distributed transaction. According to the size of the quotation differences, the transaction objects are selected and the transaction volumes are determined. Finally, the low-carbon strategy is carried out under the mechanism. It is shown that the strategy satisfies the individual and the overall rationality and promote low-carbon transaction.","PeriodicalId":257974,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE Innovative Smart Grid Technologies - Asia (ISGT Asia)","volume":"119 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124524023","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, multiple objective functions are employed to determine the optimal capacity, including the utilization rate of renewable energy, economic performance, and reliability of the system. The capacity optimization is transformed into two parts by using hierarchic optimization strategy. The first part is to calculate the rough capacity range of wind, PV, storage and diesel generator. The mixed integer programming is employed to solve the problem, taking the minimum capacity of energy storage and diesel generator as the objective function. The second part is to seek the best capacity through the rough capacity range. The capacity configuration scheme is obtained by optimizing the cost and operation of hybrid microgrid.
