It focuses on 'borrowing'computing resources from foreign Clouds when home Cloud isabout to overloaded and 'leasing' resources to foreign Cloudswhen home Cloud is free. Considering crucial importance ofbusiness value for a Cloud provider, we need to perform somedynamic, reasonable and simple rules or mechanisms to helpCloud provider making better billing decisions and improvingthe overall performance in a federation scope. Cloud Federationis implemented by network connections, so in common situationthe best candidate Cloud to be federated enjoys a higher speedof connection to the home Cloud. This remains a problem thatseveral Clouds located in a subnet have a high possibility to befederated with each other, thus complicated dependency relationsamong them will appear. However, because of the ambiguity between different forms of Service Level Agreement (SLA), to get an integrated service quality of several services is a complex task. Based on this fact, a SLA-based Service Composition Model with Semantic Support (SSCMSS) is proposed in this paper. First, a SLA management ontology model is built to provide semantic support. And then the framework composes the SLAs of different services to get an integrated service quality level based on the composition pattern. At last, it automatically searches the integrated SLAs to get the compositions that can match the customer's request. A virtual machine directly accessing the physical NIC can switch to use the virtual NIC if it is to be migrated. This solution is implemented in network configuration level in Guest OS drivers, so it can be used in different VMMs and with different NICs. The experiments illustrate that our solution does not interrupt the network connections from clients' perspective. In order to provide intelligent assistive services for elders, in this paper, we propose an integrated service platform that can accommodate safety assurance, daily activity assistance, and health support services. Specifically, the platform takes care of anomalous events detection, daily activities tracking, and health status monitoring leveraging stationary sensors deployed in living environments and mobile sensing artifacts carried by elders. The services in this integrated platform can ensure safety and independency of elders, they can also help them sustain and/or improve health condition with personalized health support. Based on the proposed platform, we present a case study of assistive safety assurance service wandering detection, which monitors an elder's outdoor movements by using GPS sensor embedded in smart phone and recognizes the lapping or pacing movement pattern to find potential wandering behavior. In this paper, we propose a framework integrating cloud computing paradigm and WSN, which fully uses data process ability and service model for cloud computing. Many methods for testing and verifying the reliability have been discussed, however, the existing methods are weak in test automation and therefore difficult in tackling the dynamic features of modern SOA based application. The traditional method of model checking and the technique of test suite generation have a large potential for the reliability verification of web services and service composition. In this paper, an approach to integrating the test suite generation technique with model checking is presented. The approach takes advantage of model checking to verify BPEL script at the logical level, and to generate test suite automatically based on the model description, and finally to select test cases with respect to the counterexamples of model checking output. The approach contributes a set of algorithms and its implementation to support a translation from BPEL to LOTOS, and LTS(Labeled Transition Systems, LTS in short) to TTCN(Test and Testing Control Notation, TTCN in short) behavior Tree. Subjective judgments are often vague and it is not easy for retailers to express the satisfaction of service quality using an exact numerical value, and suggest the necessity of using a fuzzy approach. Applying the fuzzy approach, service satisfaction values are identified and organized into five basic service types service of client manager, ordering service, delivering service, consulting and complaint service, and business environment. There are already a plenty of implementations which integrate SOA with multi-agent systems (MAS). The ability of learning is a significant feature of MAS. This paper proposes a learning model of the service-oriented MAS for the service composition problem. It adopts the principle of reinforcement learning and is based on the Markov game and Q-learning. The reward of the learning procedure is determined by the QoS parameters such as responding time and cost. The mechanism of multi-agent leaning for service composition is introduced.
