Many researches have been done in the virtual environment to detect and defend such attacks. But a data flow is essentially needed to verify these researches in a real environment. This paper proposes a simulation platform of distributed denial of service attacks based on network processor. The fractal Brownian motion model is introduced to generate attack flow with the characteristic of self-similarity. A transmission control mechanism based on micro-engine is presented to reduce the error of output data flow¿s Hurst parameter. Experiment results show that the model can generate a high speed self-similar attack flow with controllable Hurst parameter, and different kinds of traffic in the flow can be accurately transmitted as configured.","PeriodicalId":255247,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115707525","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The computation is carried out by simple gradient descent rule with variable step-size. In order to make the algorithm be absolutely convergent, its convergence theorem was presented and proved. The convergence theorem indicates the theory criterion selecting the magnitude of the learning rate. Some specific examples, using nonlinear equations with multi-variable, show the application of the method. The results illustrate the proposed method can solve effectively nonlinear equation systems at a very rapid convergence and very high accuracy. Furthermore, it has also the added advantage of being able to compute exactly nonlinear equation systems.","PeriodicalId":255247,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security","volume":"250 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115764807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The given algorithm is based on utilizing the result of the previous training effectively and retaining the most important samples for the incremental learning to reduce the computational cost. In the process of incremental learning, the convex hull vectors of the previous training and the newly added samples constitute the current training sample set, the current training sample set is pre-extracted from the geometric point of view by using the convex hulls algorithm, the central distance ratio method is used to obtain the between-class convex hull vectors, and the between-class convex hull vectors are used as the training samples in the SVM incremental training. Experiments prove that the given algorithm has better classification performance.","PeriodicalId":255247,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security","volume":"2002 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116891400","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In our original MCPSO, there is no information sharing among slave swarms except that the information of the best performing particle is broadcasted to the master swarm. To deal with this issue in MCPSO-CC the population is divided into several identical sub-swarms and a center communication strategy is used to transfer the information among all the sub-swarms. To demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed MCPSO-CC algorithm, its performance is compared with SPSO and MCPSO on four well-know benchmark functions. Experimental results show that MCPSO-CC achieves not only better solutions but also faster convergence.","PeriodicalId":255247,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123410485","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Afterwards, we employ four tests: mono-bit test, serial test, poker test and auto-correlation test to evaluate the randomness of the proposed generator. At last, we analyze the linear complexity of the generated sequences and the cipher space. All the experiments show that the generator holds the satisfactory properties.","PeriodicalId":255247,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122368226","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In practice, a large number of ratings from similar users are not available, due to the sparsity inherent to rating data. Consequently, recommendation quality can be poor. In this paper, we present an effective content semantic similarity boosted CF framework (CSSCF) for combining content meaning and collaboration. Our approach uses a content semantic similarity based rater (CSSR) to enhance existing user data, and then provides personalized suggestions through collaborative filtering. The new model is however more robust to data sparsity, because missing ratings are rated using the CSSR in advance. Experiments demonstrate that the proposed method gives better recommendations than pure collaborative filter.","PeriodicalId":255247,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security","volume":"797 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117040971","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Under certain physical property conditions, we simulated the water injection well and the oil well on the physical simulation model, and continuous measured online the oil and water content of different area of model in three-dimensional space using the 512 routes resistivity measuring circuit, then we can obtain large numbers of simulation samples. Considering the issues that the relationship between the remaining oil and every parameters of water displacing oil is a complicated and nonlinear, the support vector machine (SVM) was used to establish the oil and water migration model. Moreover, we propose a self-adaptive parameter adjust iterative algorithm to confirm SVM parameters. The experimental results show that this method is feasible and effective.","PeriodicalId":255247,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security","volume":"91 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124606787","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The improved algorithm is compared with other typical demosaicing approaches by testing the twenty-four Kodak set (6) images. The PSNR of the improved algorithm is better than other typical methods, and the interpolated artifact is found to be less. The experimental results prove that the improved algorithm is with best PSNR and the least interpolated artifact.
