Along with this, transport is a strategic sector at the state level, ensuring the functioning of the economy as a whole. In this regard, there are certain contradictions associated with the assessment of the effectiveness of investments in transport infrastructure. In most cases, investments in transport infrastructure are valued similarly to investments in a business project. After the issuance of Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1512 dated November 26, 2019, the approach to evaluating the effectiveness of investments with state participation has expanded, but it does not fully cover the issues of project effectiveness for the state. Along with this, the classical methods for evaluating the effectiveness of investment projects are subject to great subjectivity in relation to the calculation of social effects, as a result of which their applicability to projects at the national economic level is ineffective. \u0000Aim: to consider the list of effects arising from the construction of transport infrastructure and determine the methodology for calculating the effects for the state. \u0000Materials and methods: the research methodology is based on the analysis of methods for financial and economic evaluation of investment projects, as well as macroeconomic methods. The information base of the study is based on the official legal and methodological information of the authorities of the Russian Federation. \u0000Results: as a result of the study, a list of effects for the state arising from the implementation of transport infrastructure development projects was determined, and the procedure for their calculation was substantiated. \u0000Conclusion: the study confirms that the currently used methods for evaluating the effectiveness of investments in infrastructure projects for the state do not fully and objectively reflect economic realities. Smart station is part of the digital railway concept. Currently, there is no unambiguous solution to the problem of how to introduce advanced information technologies to improve the efficiency and level of service of the railway transport system in the station complexes. The construction of new and reconstruction of existing station complexes in accordance with the concept of smart station is also relevant for Russian railways. \u0000Aim: identify priority areas for the development of station complexes; to characterize the main measures for the digitalization of the management system of railway stations of Russian Railways. \u0000Materials and Methods: in the course of the study, a systematic approach, analysis, synthesis, methods and tools for statistical data processing were used: tabular method, methods for calculating average and relative values, methods for analyzing dynamics. Activities for the digitalization of station management systems were evaluated on the basis of methods for evaluating the effectiveness of investment projects in the field of railway transport. The information base consists of the works of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of digitalization of railways, the development of railway stations, as well as strategic documents of Russian Railways: Long-term program for the development of railway stations of the Directorate of Railway Stations a branch of Russian Railways for the period up to 2025; The concept of efficient use and development of railway stations for the period up to 2030; Development strategy of the Russian Railways holding for the period up to 2030; Long-term development program of Russian Railways until 2025. \u0000Results: the world trends in the development of station complexes are considered; clarified the essence of the category smart station; the characteristics of the main directions of digitalization of the station complexes of Russian Railways are given. \u0000Conclusion: the concept of smart station is the basis for changes in the organization of the activities of station complexes being implemented in modern conditions. The issues of protection against electromagnetic influences are becoming more relevant with the growth of traffic intensity. \u0000Aim: Evaluation of the degree of electromagnetic impact of traction networks on the cable line. \u0000Materials and Methods: Mathematical modeling is carried out using the finite element method and the COMSOL Multiphysics software package. \u0000Results: Current distributions in two typical traction power networks are obtained, taking into account the presence of a cable line in the zone of influence. The generated electric and magnetic fields and the parameters of the current induced on the sheath of the cable line are determined. \u0000Conclusion: The use of mathematical modeling makes it possible to decompose the influences into constituent factors and reveal the internal structure of the mechanism of interaction between the components of the transport electrical complex. The simulation results allow us to confidently fix the induced currents from the force electromagnetic fields on the cable sheath. Linear motors are multifunctional and are capable of providing both traction and braking of promising high-speed rolling stock. Aim: Investigation of the braking characteristics of an adjustable traction linear induction motor with variable resistance by a short-circuited winding of the secondary element. Methods: Analytical methods have been used to obtain relations for calculating the braking forces of an adjustable linear induction motor with a short-circuited winding of the secondary element. Results: The obtained ratios made it possible to calculate the braking forces of linear induction motors. One of the simplest and most convenient methods for achieving these goals is numerical simulation. \u0000Aim: simulation of the dynamic characteristics of a magnetic suspension based on a high-temperature superconductor during movement, acceleration and deceleration. \u0000Methods: numerical analysis of the magnetic levitation system was performed by the finite element method in the Comsol Multiphysics engineering simulation software. \u0000Results: during straight motion, lateral vibrations do not exceed 15 %, and the suspension speed and mass increase does not have a significant effect on the vibrations amplitude. In the case of vertical oscillations, the platform mass and speed increase leads to an increase in the vibration resistance of the system. The object of the study is freight rail transport in Russia. \u0000Methods: To analyze the digitalization process of railways, modeling of a closed production-consuming reproduction loop was applied. \u0000Results: An important condition for the digitalization of the national economy is the presence of a conditionally closed economic circuit, served mainly by rail and connecting consumers and the entire chain of producers. Such contours should be focused on the absolute needs of the population, which are the most predictable and stable from a quantitative point of view. This, in turn, contributes to the implementation of production and transport activities in a routine manner without human intervention based on digital technologies. In a situation where many infrastructure organisations have left or temporarily withdrawn from cooperation with Russian companies, the question arises as to how to fill this gap so that companies choosing to continue their movement in the ESG agenda can have the appropriate infrastructure and support. \u0000Aim: The scientific hypothesis of the influence of transformational leadership on the activity of sustainable development processes (ESG) and the development of tools to assess this influence on the effectiveness of transport organisations' operational and business models. \u0000Methods: The methodology of the work is based on the development of the theory of transformational leadership as a new type of effective management activity, the concept of evolution of digital platforms and ecosystems. \u0000Results: The positions of the scientific hypothesis on the impact of transformational leadership tools on the efficiency of operational and business models of transport organisations implementing sustainable development projects and the establishment of a new type of management activity have been confirmed. It has been proved that the existing transactional leadership metrics (KPIs and deviation management) cease to work in the current environment. A model has been developed to quantify the appropriateness of the impact of transformational leadership on sustainable development goals of transport companies. \u0000Conclusion: It has been substantiated that transformational leadership that ensures the principle of unity, intersectorality and resource conservation becomes a new type of management activity that ensures growth of long-term returns from social and 'green investments'. A prerequisite for achieving national stability and security is the development of an integrated transport system of the country based on deep cooperation of all modes of transport, which makes it possible to effectively meet the demand for transportation both in technological and economic terms. At the same time, scientific and technological progress should not lead to the breakdown of connections in the transport system, it has a progressive nature, the possibility of interaction between the interaction of various modes of transport - rail, water, automobile, aviation, and prospective, in particular, maglev. \u0000Aim: to consider the possibility of including maglev transport, made according to Russian technology, into the integrated transport system of Russia as a priority mode of transport, to determine the principles of an integrated transport system and to rank the types of transport according to the degree of their compliance with national interests. \u0000Materials and Methods: the methodology of the study is based on the analysis of methods for evaluating the effectiveness of modes of transport, as well as the analysis of the technical and technological features of modes of transport. Such studies can be carried out in the field, using a physical experiment or using computer simulation. The first is limited by the complexity of the experiment, the lack of access to real measurements. Unlike a physical experiment, computer simulation is devoid of these problems: it makes it quite easy not only to model a long line, but also to study it under various operating modes. The practical significance of this work is the applicability of the proposed method in the educational process when students of energy specialties of transport universities perform research on lines with distributed parameters to solve subsequent problems in the development or development of new energy systems of great extent. \u0000Aim: Building a computer model of a long line and developing a method for studying various modes of its operation under various loads, including idling and short circuit. \u0000Methods: Computer modelling. \u0000Results: A computer model of a line with distributed parameters has been constructed, which allows one to study it under various modes. \u0000Conclusion: As part of the development of energy systems, the relevance of developing and modeling new methods for studying various modes in such circuits increases many times over. At the same time, newly developed methods should be applicable in the educational process. The article describes computer simulation and study of a long line under various active loads of the distribution of the effective value of the voltage along the line during its transmission, equal to half the wavelength (half-wave line).
