To do this, we extracted the green library components through an analysis of the green library literatures and case studies, and surveyed the perceptions of the library staffs about the assessment factors. Finally, we developed the green library evaluation index with 11 evaluation areas, 31 evaluation items, and 135 evaluation indicators. It is necessary to analyze the cumulative results of LibQUAL+ in order to identify the suggestions for improvement of library services. This study aims to comparatively analyze the results of LibQUAL+ and demonstrate the trends and changes for the services of university library. To achieve the purpose of this study, two university libraries were selected for analysis. The library of McGill University in Canada was selected with the six years’ results of LibQUAL+. Another library located in Seoul was selected with the 2012 result of LibQUAL+ and a new LibQUAL+ in 20015 was conducted for this study. The results were analyzed with three dimensions and 22 items in terms of circular chart, bar chart, and graph. Findings of this study indicated that there were substantial differences in terms of years of LibQUAL+ survey and user groups with undergraduate/graduate students in three dimensions. In particular, the results of A library showed that users were likely to expect more from the university library, but they perceived low service quality. In addition, there was found considerable differences among users groups in terms of undergraduate and graduate students. The methods included a survey of user needs, analysis of usage statistics, and user interviews. In order to conduct this study, the obtained statistical data and co-authorship networks based on eight major LIS journals in Taiwan were analyzed and compared to the case of South Korea. In Taiwan like Korea, papers published by a single-author and 2 to 3 co-authors were the most common. The centrality analysis showed that leading professors in the national-level university in Taiwan have strong and distinctive ties in the network. This study analyzed the contents of the study, under the theme of university library, published on four academic society journals, related to library and information science, from 2000 to 2014, such as Journal of the Korean Society for Library and Information, Journal of Korean Library and Information Science Society, Journal of the Korean Society for Information Management, and Journal of the Korean Biblia Society for Library and Information Science. As a result of investigation, of total 1,023 researches, the research on university library was performed (332 researches, 32.5%), next to the research on public library (418 researches, 40.9%) in frequency. The concernment themes of university library research were `management of library` (95 researches, 28.6%), `information science` (76 researches, 22.9%), `library service` (31 researches, 9.3%) in order. Major research methods applied to university library research were questionnaire investigation (112 researches, 33.7%), case investigation (40 researches, 12.0%), interview investigation (50 researches, 15.1%), and other methods (132 researches, 39.8%) in order. The objects, classified with academic system, on university library research, were four year university library 244 researches (73.5%), two year university library (6 researches, 1.8%), and other university library (82 researches, 24.7%). The researcher dispersion was, in the case of one person research, professor (136 researches, 41%), librarian (35 researchers, 10.5%), and lecturer (14 researches, 4.2%) in order.
