The article explores the essence and analyzes modern approaches regarding the concept of “corporate social responsibility”, considers the components and principles of this phenomenon. The most interesting examples of conducting socially responsible business from the practice of foreign and domestic companies are considered. The main models of CSR implementation and the realities of the implementation of Ukrainian business are analyzed. Based on this analysis, the possibility of implementing these models in the practice of Ukrainian companies was investigated and it was determined that the use of the British CSR model with the active participation of the state is most harmonious.
