Tic hyperkinesis affects the cognitive and emotional spheres, and these changes are most pronounced with common tics. Based on the Toulouse-Pieron test, which characterizes the ability to voluntarily concentrate attention, it has been proven that children with local tics have a significantly higher concentration of attention compared to common ones.","PeriodicalId":250532,"journal":{"name":"Oriental Journal of Medicine and Pharmacology","volume":"94 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140242340","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cysts are mainly incidental abnormalities in the diagnosis of paranasal diseases. The work presents modern data on the etiology, pathogenesis, health characteristics, methods of diagnosis and treatment of cysts of paranasal diseases using the latest scientific achievements. The developed minimally invasive methods of surgical treatment, these principles, reduce the risk of developing postoperative complications and shorten the treatment time for patients. However, despite this, the question of the advantages and principles of various methods for removing cysts of accessory teeth, which have not yet been replaced by traditional solutions, remains controversial.","PeriodicalId":250532,"journal":{"name":"Oriental Journal of Medicine and Pharmacology","volume":"50 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140507083","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Allergens, viruses and bacteria, air pollutants and similar chemicals, which are recognized as the main causes of the development of chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), cause irritation of the epithelial layer, which in turn causes local inflammation of the sinus mucosa. As a result, the swelling of the mucous membrane leads to the narrowing or blocking of the natural openings of the nose and the retention of mucus. Modern functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) is an effective and safe method of treating diseases of the paranasal sinuses in children, and its success is important in the correct determination of indications, patient preparation, adequate management of anesthesia, and correct assessment of the postoperative period.","PeriodicalId":250532,"journal":{"name":"Oriental Journal of Medicine and Pharmacology","volume":"20 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140507363","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study examines possible associations between cardiovascular disease and the utilisation of conventional disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) in patients with RA. MTX and SSZ with the latter to lesser extent were associated with a significant reduced risk of CVD than patients with RA who never used either of the drugs or combinations. This study suggests that the use of DMARD, in particular the use of MTX, results in potent suppression of joint inflammation. It also can reduce the development of atherosclerosis and associated CVDs.","PeriodicalId":250532,"journal":{"name":"Oriental Journal of Medicine and Pharmacology","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122783377","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
