In this paper we have developed a new image encryption algorithm that is based on three dimensional cat maps, diffusion, transformation and xor operations. First of all the positions of image pixels is mixed by using three dimensional cat map and on the other hand chaotic map is used to complicate the association amid the plain image and cipher image. Next, diffusion by exclusive operation plus modular operation is used to spread the effect of single bit of the plain image all over the cipher image. The basic logic in QCA does not use voltage level for logic representation; rather it represents the binary state by polarization of electrons in the Quantum Cell, which is basic building block of QCA. QCA technology has large potential to provide high space density, ultra-low power dissipation that enables us to build QCA circuits with faster speed, smaller size & high performance for integration and computation. QCA presents proficient solutions for several arithmetic circuits, such as adders, multipliers, comparators etc. This paper presents a thorough analysis of QCA based Universal FNZ gate [1] with its stability proof upon which a new design of 1-bit comparator has been proposed. The faults of the IM may result in catastrophic effects on the production and performance of the system. To ensure timely fault diagnosis in an induction machine several methods have been explored. It has been observed that important installation faults lead to an increase of temperature in specific areas of IM. Hence in present work a novel approach of detecting mechanical faults in IMs through thermo-graphic imaging has been proposed. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme many experiments have been conducted in industry (Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Raigarh, India) and various thermographs have been recorded and analyzed. The Air/SiO<inf>2</inf>, Air/TiO<inf>2</inf>, SiO<inf>2</inf>/TiO<inf>2</inf> P2 1DFFPC sequence 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are considered and calculated by simple transfer matrix method (TMM). The calculated transmission spectrum of the air/TiO<inf>2</inf> P2 1-D FFPC, air/SiO<inf>2</inf> P2 1-D FFPC and SiO<inf>2</inf>/TiO<inf>2</inf> P2 1-D FFPC sequence 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are compared and verified the law of the transmission peaks for FFPC. The transmittance of the air/TiO<inf>2</inf> P2 1-D FFPC shows high Q-factor which may be used to develop high quality resonant micro-cavities or narrow band pass filter, and applicable in design of ultra sensitive optical sensors. In WSN, power consumption is of utmost importance as they are battery operated with limited capacity, and therefore power consumption is one of the key constraints in the design of wireless sensor networks. Communication unit which consist of a Radio transmitter is the main source of power consumption in the node. A variety of techniques have been proposed to address this issue, data compression is one of them, which reduces the data volume to be transmitted, and hence results in power saving.In this paper, an efficient tag generation based adaptive data compression scheme is introduced which generates the unique identifier or tag for the sequence of wireless input from real world to be encoded. The proposed technique sends a single coded message for group of symbols as compared to other entropy based techniques which generate the code for each input symbol in a particular stream of input from real deployments. By sending the single coded message for a stream of signal it reduces the data to be transmitted and hence result in a reduction in power consumption. This paper presents advance automatic monitoring and fault detection technique in Photovoltaic (PV) system. The performance and efficiency of Photovoltaic system depends on many parameters like incident angle, shading, aging, dirt, Temperature, MPPT error. This automatic monitoring system required data-acquisition system to collect all the data from PV system. The performance of PV module degraded with aging effect and dirt condition. But there are also other factors which affect the performance of module like partial shadows, increase in series resistance and shunting of cells. For enhancing the operability of PV system we need to be automatic supervision and conditioning monitoring. The main objective of this work is to compare the management of the most important parameters that is temperature inside the egg hatching incubator from the implementation of the on/off and fuzzy logic controller using the LabVIEW 2015 software. For implementing the proposed scheme a low cost microcontroller is programmed for acquiring and serially transmitting the real-time data value from the egg hatching incubator system to the LabVIEW software installed at host computer. In the LabVIEW environment the on/off and fuzzy logic has been implemented to maintain the temperature level inside the system at the desired set point values. The paper provides experimental results indicating a variation in the capacity of an AC, when calculated for sensors placed at different locations. The experimental test set-up is based on ISO 5151: Air Enthalpy Method for determining the cooling capacity of an AC. The set-up also implements psychrometric chart as provided by ASHRAE to calculate air properties. The performance of sensors has been found identical at a particular location and the data been used to estimate the capacity in BTU per hour.
