When users purchase a product, almost all users tend to post reviews on it. Therefore review data can be treated as propinquity of purchase data. In this paper, we propose a novel method that extracts typical purchase patterns based on motif analysis of a directed graph constructed from review history data. We first construct a directed graph called a purchase history graph (PHG), where a node stands for an item and a directional edge is added between successively purchased two items in chronological order. Second we decompose all of the item nodes of PHG into weakly connected components (WCCs) and expect that each WCC consists of items that are sold by the same store. For each WCC, to extract frequently appearing local edge structures, we enumerate the number of 3-node motif patterns, which is a well-known notion in complex network science. These only express theoretic patterns; the actual typical ones are slightly more complicated. Thus, we construct motif vectors, which stand for how many individual patterns are contained in each WCC. Finally, we divide all of the WCCs into K clusters based on the similarity of the motif vectors. In the above procedure, we extract the typical purchase patterns of users. The objective of this IoT project is to develop a kiosk system for electoral and political consciousness, using a Raspberry Pi board and other components as its hardware, to provide accurate information to electors about political parties and candidates. The hardware and software infrastructure was arranged integrating the necessary modules to the board and developing algorithms for its adequate functioning; also, it was defined the layout and presentation of data, in order to facilitate the usability, accomplish accessibility requirements and improve user experience. The result is a functional kiosk system that accomplishes the established architectural design and contributes to a social and political issue. Depending on the data format, data manipulation can be performed using underlying technology, such as RDBMS for relational databases or XPath for XML. For CSV/Tabular data there is no such underlying technology, and instead transforming the source data into another format or pre/post-processing techniques are used. As part of this paper, we present a comparison framework for the state-of-the-art in converting CSV/Tabular data into RDF, where a key feature evaluated is transformation functions. We argue that existing approaches for transformation functions in such tools are complex - in number of steps and tools involved - and therefore not as traceable and transparent as one would like. We tackle these problems by defining a more generic, usable and amenable method to incorporate functions into uplift mapping languages, called FunUL. As proof of concept, we show an implementation of our method.
