Three new architectures for PFSCL full adders are put forward. The first architecture is implemented by using conventional NOR based method. The second architecture is based on the use of configurable cell while the last architecture optimizes the structure by using both the conventional NOR and configurable cell based approaches. The functionality of the proposed architectures is verified through simulations by using TSMC 180 nm CMOS technology parameter on Tanner EDA. Their performance is compared in terms of transistor count, gate count, power, delay and power-delay product. It is found that the Arch-3 presents the best PFSCL full adder design by incorporating the advantageous features of the other two proposed architectures.","PeriodicalId":247543,"journal":{"name":"2016 Second International Innovative Applications of Computational Intelligence on Power, Energy and Controls with their Impact on Humanity (CIPECH)","volume":"185 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134442747","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We have devised the proposed framework into three levels: Requirements Modeling, Test Case Generation and Effort Estimation. At the first level, we have used the Extend relationship of the Use Case to capture the events generated by the Classes during message passing between them through their objects. These events were captured by an Object Instantiator using Event Templates and further given to a Test case scenario generator, which generates the test cases. At the second level, the test cases will be generated based on the event templates that are used for capturing the events generated by the Extend relationship of the Use cases. Further, we have proposed a Genetic Algorithm (GA) for the effective test case prioritization to ensure maximum code coverage. At the third level, effort estimation, we have used the Cyclometric Complexity and Token count to perform the effort estimation for the Software under Test (SUT).","PeriodicalId":247543,"journal":{"name":"2016 Second International Innovative Applications of Computational Intelligence on Power, Energy and Controls with their Impact on Humanity (CIPECH)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129657058","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While analyzing transmission systems generally resistances of lines are neglected in different voltage stability indices therefore the same index cannot be used for a distribution system. Moreover, Newton-Raphson load flow method which is used for a transmission system analysis, does not converge for a distribution system. In the present work, three power delivery systems IEEE 30-bus transmission system, a 36-bus real time Indian semi-transmission systems and the IEEE 69-bus distribution system are considered to test the existing voltage stability index. For Transmission system and semi-transmission system NR load flow method and for Distribution system Teng's method of load flow is used. A voltage stability index [2] is used, as it is, for transmission system whereas for distribution system resistance value for lines is also taken into consideration in the same index. The maximum load-ability of all the buses for all the systems considered, were calculated one-by-one. The bus having least loading-ability is considered as weakest. The proposed method is efficient and gives additional information about collapse phenomenon and maximum load-ability.","PeriodicalId":247543,"journal":{"name":"2016 Second International Innovative Applications of Computational Intelligence on Power, Energy and Controls with their Impact on Humanity (CIPECH)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114344333","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We can fuse images which are out of focus, here images of different focal length are considered as input whereas output image is expected to be clear and visible. There are various types of sensors available today having wide variety of focal length and hence they generate images in which some objects are clear some are not. Again multi-sensor devices provide huge data to analyze and interpret. So we require some sort of mechanism to fuse all this data into single one. Therefore there is a basic requirement of certain image fusion algorithm which will perform the desired task and gives some accurate and reliable information about the scene. In the research work a method is developed to perform the fusion of multiple images to get a single image which is more informative, reliable and accurate. The proposed method is based on complex wavelet transform with the combination of direction wavelet decomposition method. The method is good at direction selectivity, also perfect reconstruction which is very important aspect for fusion of images. The final fused image is enhanced in such a way that it is useful for interpretation and analysis and assists to come up with certain decision about the scene.","PeriodicalId":247543,"journal":{"name":"2016 Second International Innovative Applications of Computational Intelligence on Power, Energy and Controls with their Impact on Humanity (CIPECH)","volume":"184 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121429858","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper utilizes scalp electroencephalogram to predict an epileptic seizure and detect an epileptogenic region. To detect epileptogenic region, the signals from five different regions of brain are taken into consideration. Forty-four non-linear features are extracted from eight frequency bands theta, θ, (4–8 Hz), alpha, α, (8–13 Hz), beta, β, (13–30 Hz), gamma1, γ1, (30–50 Hz), gamma 2, γ2 (50–70 Hz), gamma3, γ3 (70–90 Hz), gamma4, γ4 (90–110 Hz) and gamma5, γ5 (110–128 Hz). Features include eight absolute spectral powers, eight relative spectral powers and twenty eight spectral power ratios. These features have been computed for ten seizure cases using a ten minute non overlapping window. From these forty four features the spectral power ratio from gamma band [30–128 Hz] [gamma1 (30–50 Hz) / gamma 3(70–90 Hz)] shows a prominent change for all the seizure cases during pre-ictal duration. The results also show that epileptic seizure is predicted in the second segment i.e. twenty minutes before the onset of seizure. Zone2 (temporal zone in this work) shows the highest change as compared to other zones so it is identified as the epileptogenic region in this work.","PeriodicalId":247543,"journal":{"name":"2016 Second International Innovative Applications of Computational Intelligence on Power, Energy and Controls with their Impact on Humanity (CIPECH)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124264146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The coolAC has been designed for optimal utilization of electric energy and providing maximum cooling. The idea goals toward emanating the growing power consumption for cooling by providing the same in most efficient way. According to an estimate, world energy demand will grow by 56% in between 2010 – 2040 [1]. Hence, besides executing the desired cooling within its limit, the operation should be frugal too. Thus, implementing this idea may aid solving the problem of ever increasing demand of energy.","PeriodicalId":247543,"journal":{"name":"2016 Second International Innovative Applications of Computational Intelligence on Power, Energy and Controls with their Impact on Humanity (CIPECH)","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115864621","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
