This solution can be extended to other electrical distribution equipment such as indoor transformers or Low Voltage distribution panels. Considering that the main environmental measurements are temperature, humidity, dust and atmospheric pressure, certain unfavourable conditions may lead to appearance of electrical discharges or partial discharges phenomena inside of the cells. Continuous monitoring is highly recommended to prevent it. Thus, continuous supervision of environmental parameters drives in early identification of deteriorating environmental conditions, and may, subsequently, act as a signal to local or regional coordination to take preventive or predictive measures.","PeriodicalId":245984,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Development and Application Systems (DAS)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131481429","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The definition of these waves in relation to the functional quantities of pulse amplitude, conduction angles and priming delay angles led to the identification of their Fourier developments and then, on this basis, allowed the analytical determination of the optimal operating regimes of PWM inverters, and the possibility of establishing a convenient control principle. The paper deals with the harmonics of PUAS type components, which overlap with the central component, in order to reconstruct the real voltage wave, obtained by oscillation.","PeriodicalId":245984,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Development and Application Systems (DAS)","volume":"215 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121554872","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These children, who have had the greatest access to technology up to this point, naturally use smartphones, tablets, computers, and other devices. Students of this generation will be able to benefit from the incorporation of emerging technologies and innovations into classrooms. The present paper aims to investigate the potential of these technologies in education to facilitate the leap towards Education 4.0 as part of the overall picture of Industry 4.0. The first section of the paper deals with a review of the scientific literature on the use of Quick Response (QR) codes and Augmented Reality (AR) in the development of learning materials. Then, the paper proposes a solution that supports and facilitates the integration of such technologies in regular textbooks. Connecting learning materials with the technologies that students use every day can lead to a better understanding and involvement in the classroom. However, traditional textbooks and other learning materials need to be updated to meet the expectations of students who use smartphones and other technologies as extensions of their bodies.","PeriodicalId":245984,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Development and Application Systems (DAS)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125791790","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Pulse oximetry is one of the clinical tools used to measure oxygen saturation of the arterial blood almost instantly. Nevertheless, healthcare workers know that there are some technological limitations that can impact the accuracy of these devices. Using more than two wavelengths for estimating the oxygenation can improve the accuracy but at the expense of a higher price, which can limit the use in home settings. This paper proposes a different approach for a more affordable pulse oximeter, based on spectral identification in the red and near-infrared light domains. Thus, compared to a classical pulse oximeter solution, the proposed design is able to detect abnormal levels of hemoglobin derivatives by using six different wavelengths, offering this way improved accuracy in critical situations and helping in-home patients to deal with the first signs of sickness.","PeriodicalId":245984,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Development and Application Systems (DAS)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125748484","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context, especially in medical imaging, the demand for privacy-preserving techniques, that allow for DL model development, has recently increased significantly. Herein, we propose a medical image obfuscation algorithm based on pixel intensity shuffling and non-bijective functions. The proposed algorithm is evaluated on a medical use case based on coronary angiographic images. Multiple convolutional neural networks are trained to measure the utility of the obfuscated images. An attack configuration based on artificial intelligence (AI) is evaluated to validate the level of privacy. The classification performance on the obfuscated images is satisfactory, while the computational time is not affected significantly. Visual and metrics-based analyses show that the data is protected from human perception and from AI-based image reconstruction approaches.","PeriodicalId":245984,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Development and Application Systems (DAS)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130536946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sensor simulations were implemented by three different methods, using both IoT technologies and x86 architectures, with the help of dedicated software. A monitoring system reduces the danger of power plant failures due to unfavourable environmental conditions, which allows both predictive and preventive maintenance measures. As set forth, the least friendly combinations are those where the dust, humidity and temperature can bring synergistic effects, which can determine unplanned events (i.e., electrical discharges) within insulators, inside of a voltage distribution cell. The absence of predictive and preventive maintenance measures can lead to both significant technological and financial losses.","PeriodicalId":245984,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Development and Application Systems (DAS)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122395087","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the advancement of digitalization and technology, these types of attacks are present in our lives, whether we are aware of them or not, they still exist. E-mail bomb attacks are listed as cyberattacks, which can create difficulties in the telecommunication sector because they target services that will be disrupted and be harder to access. In definition, an e-mail bomb involves the process of sending a large number of e-mails to a specific server or person. A very powerful open-source tool that can handle this situation is Snort [1], which is used as a solution to identify this network attack. Additionally, with Snort, this paper presents a custom rule proposed to show promising results in detecting this kind of attack.","PeriodicalId":245984,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Development and Application Systems (DAS)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127169300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The SC kernel consists of seventh-order polynomials and approximates the ideal sinc function in the interval [−4; 4]. The second part of the paper presents the results of the Experiment, which was realized with the aim of determining the interpolation error, MSE, when interpolating with the interpolation SC kernel. In addition, a comparative analysis with interpolation error, which occurred during interpolation with an interpolation fifth-order polynomial kernel (QC kernel), was performed. After that, the analysis of the values of the kernel parameters, α, determined theoretically and experimentally, is presented. Deviations of the theoretical values, in relation to experimental ones, were analyzed over statistical parameters (µ, σ2). Finally, the efficiency of the algorithm for estimating the theoretical values of the kernel parameters, using parameters Accuracy and Precision, was determined. Experimental results are shown in tables and by graphs.","PeriodicalId":245984,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Development and Application Systems (DAS)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126481980","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
