A proper evaluation tool need to be developed to assess the infostructure usage in meeting the disaster activities objectives. This paper highlights the development of a maturity model within the context of a disaster process maturity. This paper describes the processes taken to construct a maturity model as an assessment tool to help disaster agencies understand the infostructure capability in managing disaster. The maturity model was built by collecting data from selected disaster agencies in Malaysia. The data collected was analyzed using Rasch Algorithm using Winstep software that produced four output statistics that include the logit values, standard error, infit and outfit of each items. The outputs were used to construct a maturity model of five levels, adopted from Capability Maturity Model. This paper aims to produce a maturity model to assess maturity levels of infostructure used in disaster activities.","PeriodicalId":245662,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computer & Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"352 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122997134","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Symbol spotting has received some research interest lately. Symbol spotting is beneficial for image analytics of engineering diagrams where the goal is to retrieve specific symbols. There are some works done to identify type of entity but very little for Name Entity Recognition (NER). NER is a machine learning feature that can help retrieval of more precise symbols. Semantics analysis of NER in image analytics researches are extensively reviewed. This paper critically compares the state-of-the-arts, merits and gaps in the works. Review reveals the need to focus on techniques to increase accuracy of symbol spotting.","PeriodicalId":245662,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computer & Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131566742","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such behavior is often carried out by individuals with borderline personality disorder (BPD). These individuals will commit suicide because they feel hopeless, anxious, and impulsive. They need people who they can trust and be with all the time. Therefore, it is essential to develop a chatbot as a virtual assistant or a virtual friend to reduce the feelings caused by BPD. This virtual assistant can provide appropriate responses based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) derived from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). The use of Line chat application and Program-O is the easiest way to develop a virtual assistant that facilitates psychologists with basic computer literacy to manage their question and answer content and to provide alternative communication, without depending on the programmer.","PeriodicalId":245662,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computer & Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132280227","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, a mobile application for detecting and classifying plant disease using deep learning object detection model was developed. The proposed mobile application utilizes Faster R-CNN object detector with Inception-v2 backbone network to achieve robust and efficient detection. Experiments on grape disease images demonstrated that the proposed application is able to achieve an accuracy of 97.9% while running solely on a smartphone without connecting to a server. The proposed mobile application can serve as an aid to farmers and crop growers who have little or no knowledge about plant diseases for early disease detection and control and therefore can reduce losses and prevent further spreading of the disease.","PeriodicalId":245662,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computer & Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"9 11","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120931049","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Long-term lockdown policy has become the main reason for an increase in the unemployment rate all around the globe which has affected the economy of the developed and third world countries disastrously. This paper is written to suggest a solution for the COVID-19 pandemic. The best counter-strategy would be to clean a region with a preplanned structure of short-term lockdown using the Strategic Algorithm. The area needs to be divided into two equal parts and each part will then be further divided into five subparts. These parts will be cleaned and sanitized simultaneously through the specific set of rules determined by the Strategic Algorithm. Results of the cleaning mechanism are generated using simulation of non-deterministic and deterministic automata for each accepted or cleaned area in the JFLAP tool. The current study provides a short-term lockdown mechanism for cleaning a specific area and taking other strategic steps within the lockdown period to minimize the COVID-19 effects.","PeriodicalId":245662,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computer & Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"100 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124119345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many studies have suggested that the development of CRM can be very beneficial for hospitals, medical professionals and patients. At the same time, other studies have indicated that CRM is a successful notion of improving healthcare business, service quality and overall satisfaction. This study aims to explore the implementation CRM in the Malaysian healthcare sector, and in order to achieve this aim a qualitative approach will be applied. A number of private hospitals located in the state of Perak have been interviewed, but currently on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions. The findings from several IT executives and medical professionals indicated that no hospital has fully implemented the CRM yet and there is a lack of knowledge on what does CRM really means. However, further investigations will be taking place in various states and hospitals once restrictions were eased to find out more about the current status of CRM implementation. We believe that ANT can be very valuable in evaluating the CRMS implementation in healthcare, as it can help in exploring how certain technologies would form human’s interaction.","PeriodicalId":245662,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computer & Information Sciences (ICCOINS)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127049058","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
