Many of these patterns continue the PLoP legacy of software development patterns. Yet the conference has spread out from its origins in software design and many other related (and some unrelated) subjects are covered. For example: business, management, analysis, pedagogy, human interaction, and cooperation. \u0000 \u0000Today EuroPLoP might better be described as a writers' conference: a conference for writers who use the pattern form. Like the other conferences in the *PLoP conferences family, EuroPLoP is a meeting place for people where they can exchange their experiences in the development of software and other topics. The focus of the conference is on feedback, reflection, and learning. \u0000 \u0000This philosophy is reflected by different kinds of workshops. The traditional type of workshop at *PLoP is the writers' workshop --- a forum for peer review among a number of authors. The workshop members give their feedback on each paper --- what they like and what can be improved --- while the author remains silent in the background. This is an intense form of review and an excellent way to receive feedback from colleagues.
