Behavioral factors, particularly tobacco use, diet and activity patterns, alcohol consumption, sexual behavior, and avoidable injuries are among the most prominent contributors to mortality. Projections of the global burden of disease for the next two decades include increases in noncommunicable diseases, high rates of tobacco-related deaths, and a dramatic rise in deaths from HIV/AIDS. Worldwide, the major causes of death by 2030 are expected to be HIV/AIDS, depressive disorders, and heart disease. At the same time, in many parts of the world, infectious diseases continue to pose grim threats, especially for the very young, the old, and those with compromised immune systems. Malaria, diarrheal diseases, and other infectious diseases, in addition to AIDS, are major health threats to the poorest people around the world. And, like chronic diseases, their trajectory may be influenced by the application of effective health behavior interventions. Substantial suffering, premature mortality, and medical costs can be avoided by positive changes in behavior at multiple levels. Most recently, there has been a renewed focus on public health infrastructure to plan for emergencies, including both human-made and natural disasters. During the past twenty years, there has been a dramatic increase in public, private, and professional interest in preventing disability and death through changes in lifestyle and participation in screening programs. Much of this interest in disease prevention and early detection has been stimulated by the epidemiological transition from infectious to chronic diseases as leading causes of death, the aging of the population, rapidly escalating health care costs, and data linking individual behaviors to increased risk of morbidity and mortality.","PeriodicalId":243802,"journal":{"name":"Nursing & Care Open Access Journal","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131654706","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research question was: What care needs does the pregnant adolescent have? Leonardo Boff is the author who gives theoretical support to research from the perspective of humanist thought. Vera Regina Waldo with her proposal of human care also supported herself. The study involved nine visiting nurses, that is, community care nurses who work in Health Centers of the State of Mexico. The results were obtained through the in-depth interview. The main thematic category is the resonance of the care of life. Sub categories are tenderness, compassion, kindness, caress, and recognizing myself in otherness. The results obtained will contribute in emphasizing that the care/ care provided by the community health nurse is vital for the pregnant adolescent to overcome the physiological, psychological and social stress she faces and achieve a return to her family and social context. The care provided by the nurse went beyond the procedures and institutional protocols for prenatal care, in addition to taking care of the pregnancy as a physiological event, I care for the person, helped her to continue living, protected her and integrated her back into her family context and in some cases to their school context.","PeriodicalId":243802,"journal":{"name":"Nursing & Care Open Access Journal","volume":"159 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131676764","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The associated cost of these new reform ideas is in much debate. An important area in healthcare to investigate is one of healthcare reform pertaining to defensive medicine practices and their cost implications on our current healthcare system. It is important to know the meaning of defensive medicine in order to judge if it is a problem, if it has significance in the medical field, and if there are any solutions to this issue. Defensive medicine is defined by1 as the practice of ordering medical tests, procedures, or consultations of doubtful clinical value in order to protect the prescribing physician from malpractice suits.
