In this research, hydroxyapatite (HAP) that was used as a catalyst on biodiesel production was prepared from natural phosphate rock. Effect of various impregnation on the catalyst was studied in characterized and performance test. The catalytic performance test was done using simultaneous esterification and transesterification reaction under operating condition of 60°C for 6 hours using waste cooking oil as the raw material. FTIR analysis showed that HAP catalyst had been successfully synthesized with the existence of functional group PO43- (phosphate) and CO3- (carbonate). The surface area of the catalyst by 13.513 m2/gr and specific pore volume by 0,0083 cc/gr at a concentration of 5%w/w KI while at 5% w/w KIO3 the surface area of the catalyst by 10.651 m2/gr and specific pore volume by 0.0065 cc/gr. The result of XRD analysis gives the value obtained at 28=46,75° for KI and 2θ = 34,53° for KIO3, which indicates that those components was successfully impregnated on HAP catalyst. The best value for each yield dan FAME obtained on 91,78% and 59,1% at a concentration of catalyst impregnation 5% w/w KISubstitution of homogeneous catalyst to heterogeneous catalyst is one of the alternative ways to simplify the separation process. For now, investors and academicians are competing to make renewable energy power plants, one of which is a hydroelectric power plant. Data of National Energy General Plan issued by the government show that East Kalimantan has the potential of water and solar energy of 13,479 MW. Therefore, this study chooses Tabang, East Kalimantan as a study case to construct a hydroelectric power plant using techno-economic principles. There are three alternatives for the installation of dams with maximum capacities of 219.99 m3/s, 468.72 m3/s, and 550.91 m3/s, respectively; the last is chosen for this research. The optimization result in a maximum water discharge is 253.85 m3/s with an installed capacity of 205.14 MW. The type of water turbine chosen is vertical shaft Francis with an output of 70,808 kW, and the generator is 68,684 kW. The results of this study show that the energy costs range from Rp537.2/kWh. The energy cost is enough to do the construction with an average cost of supply that East Kalimantan has Rp930.1/kWh.Conventional power plants are barely able to afford all of the needs, but they harm the environment as fossil-fueled electricity does. In this study, the prosthetics hand composed of an anthropomorphic artificial hand, motor servo and electronics circuits. The anthropomorphic artificial hand was designed using Blender (the three-dimension (30) application program) and Cura Ultimaker (the 30 printing application program). The material used to build the hand was polylactic acid (PLA). The electronics circuit consisted of dry electrodes, EMG amplifier, microcontroller Arduino, and two servo motor. Tofu wastewater contains a high measure of COD that can cause environmental damage if it doesn’t reduce before flowing on the waterways. In this study, explains the COD reduction of wastewater from the tofu industry for electricity generation and biomass production of microalgae Spirulina Platensis within Microalgae-Microbial Fuel Cell (MMFC). Anaerobic microbes in tofu wastewater were used in the anode chamber and produced electron. Spirulina platensis culture in cathode chamber produced oxygen for the Oxygen Reduction Reaction by carbon-based electrode such as graphite. The result of this study showed that MMFC could generate electricity up to 171,44 mW.m−2 when two pieces of graphite electrode were adopt in the system with a membrane surface area was 2.85 cm2. The OD spirulina achieved 0,513 on day 7. Understanding the concept, the DC circuit material in the form of series and parallel is still low and has not been maximally fulfilled for all students.Student learning achievement that has not been maximized is one of the factors that explain the learning difficulties experienced by students. Though this could lead into various visual problems, it had not been taken into consideration since measurement on pupil-distance rarely conducted while producing spectacles. Determining whether spectacle wearers encountered lens decentration, 89 bespectacled students (ages 18-22 years-old) at STIKes Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya were examined. Their optical center was measured using lens meter, and their pupil distance was measured by pupil distance ruler. All measurements were performed while subjects were wearing spectacles on a daily basis. The findings reveal that the average interpupillary distance was 63.2 mm ± 7.63 mm and optical center was 63.53 mm ± 8.54 mm. Furthermore, there was 64.1% spectacle lens categorized as ’no decentration’ and 35.9 % spectacle lens categorized as ’decentration’. The researcher also found out that the lens decentration has maximum decentration of 3-5 mm for both eyes. Thus, it can be concluded that some of the spectacle wearers have lens decentration which can lead to induced prismatic effect and causes further visual impairments such as asthenopia or diplopia in the future.Lens decentration equals the difference of the distance between the optical center and pupil distance. Many industries, especially in the crude oil industry, carbon steel material of tank become the widely used material. This recent study intended to design the crude oil storage tank using the API 650 standard. Fixed Cone Roof Tanks with 10,000 barrels of capacity using A36 material was chosen as the storage tanks. Based on the manual calculation, it was obtained that the thickness of the actual shell plate was 6 mm. The result of the calculation also determined that the bottom plate and annular bottom had each 9 mm for the thickness and the roof plate had 6 mm of thickness. While the highest stress distribution, which was still under the allowable stress occurred on the bottom part.
