Each method is specific to the problem it solves and has pros and cons. Timely detecting and localizing malfunctions in circuits is crucial in the modern online world, thus preparation in advance is needed by examining the circuits and putting together testing and monitoring mechanism for out systems. Education methods and educational institutions’ approach of teaching students in this area is important, as these factors would determine students’ interest and attention. Providing modern and interactive way of teaching is a key factor for a successful educational system and maintaining students’ engagement. Accessible tools and technologies are must when it comes to easy and fast problem exploring, this is why in this paper is explored students’ behaviour and reaction to non-conventional way to teaching. Students are provided with custom web application which is used as a virtual lab for testing and exploring circuits. They are asked to fill surveys in order to understand their thoughts on the web based online learning method. In order to help the SLT services in different educational and social context, the system has a potential to work in the Internet of Things (IoT). It can wire different assistive devices, APIs, online services and agents in order to meet the child individual needs for the intervention. Humanoid NAO-type robot, Emotiv EPOC+ brain headset, emotionally-expressive robot EmoSan and Kinect depth sensor are the devices connected using Node-RED. It is a flow-based tool designed for visual programming without a need to write any code and it can run locally or in the IoT. At the same time, in university settings, serious games and simulations are reserved for specific domains such as medicine, business, and engineering fields. Do University students from the Informatics and Computer Sciences Bachelor's Programs play games, how do they perceive game-based learning, and do they play video games for educational purposes? The present research investigates the IT students’ attitudes and perceptions of using video games for learning. The empirical study is based on the responses from 122 students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Sofia University, Bulgaria. It is conducted in November 2021 and March 2022. A detailed questionnaire developed within the project APOGEE examines video game personalization and adaptation opportunities. On one side, it investigates the students’ dominating learning style (VARK) and playing style. On the other side, it surveys students’ preferences for using video games for learning and their attitudes about video game personalization. To achieve this, World Health Organization (WHO) recommends frequent hand washing with soap and hand sanitization using hand sanitizers. Hand sanitizers are generally applied by squirting the sanitizer liquid by hand and it may cause to spread of viral carriers to many peoples. The simulated fractal time series are based on the Fractal Gaussian Noise with different values of the Hurst exponent and different lengths. To study the accuracy of the simulated time series, the method of detrended fluctuation analysis was applied, which determines the value of the Hurst exponent. The results obtained on the basis of relative standard error (RSE) show that the simulated time series have a high degree of accuracy, as the RSE is less than 2% for all input values of the Hurst exponent. Studies show that ApEn and SampEn are methods that are very sensitive to input parameters: subseries length, tolerance value and data length. Due to the fact that there is no consensus on the choice of values for these parameters, in the article they are studied on simulated fractal time series with lengths of 600-3000 points. The values of ApEn, SampEn and the value of the Hurst exponent were found to be negatively correlated, and the predictability was positively related to the Hurst exponent. Both entropy-based methods and the Hurst exponent were used to study the dynamics of the behavior of real-time series related to heart rate intervals (RR interval series) to extract useful information related to the influence of the age of the subjects. The results show that the values of ApEn and SampEn are higher for young subjects than for adults, therefore the RR time series of young subjects is more complex than the time series of adult subjects. The value of the Hurst exponent of young subjects was found to be lower than that of adult subjects, therefore the time series of adult subjects have a higher degree of self-similarity. The paper describes the creation and use of a serious game that supports the assimilation of theoretical material by students from the Department of Health Care at the University of Ruse Angel Kanchev. The created game is described in detail, as well as the technical part of the development. The game has been tested on students and the feedback shows that it helps to master the learning material and is liked among the participants in the study. In the introduction, two contemporary trends in our society are identified – the strong demand for all everyday devices to be equipped with network connectivity and the increasing popularity of laser diodes and their role in augmented reality systems. Accordingly, after a brief discussion of aspects that relate to laser diodes and light-emitting diodes, we set our goal of creating the design and implementation of a network-enabled microcontroller for use in systems for projection of laser and lighting effects. Some important user requirements are identified and then the main functional blocks of the microcontroller are created and described in detail along with their constituent elements. Then, a practical implementation of the microcontroller in the form of a printed circuit board is presented and some preliminary experimental results are discussed. Overall, we are very happy with the outcome of our design, implementation and experimental results. The algorithm is recursive, works in the time-frequency domain, processes the detailed coefficients at each level of decomposition. Apply a discrete wavelet transform with the possibility to determine the optimal basis (Daubechies bases with a different number of coefficients were studied). The proposed algorithm is efficient, achieves good performance, and is evaluated using the parameters Signal to Noise Ratio, Root Mean Square Error, and Percentage Root Mean Square Difference. The presented algorithm is applied and tested on real PPG signals. The aim of this work is to develop an efficient approach to predict human measurements and shape given other measurements. This can be useful for a fitness application where people would like to see how changes in their measurements, as a result of some exercises, will affect their weight and body shape. A dataset of manually taken measurement and 3D body scans has been used as an input to build several statistical PCA models. These models are then applied to predict measures and shape. A web-based application was developed to demonstrate the approach and evaluated it with pilot users. Companies need computer specialists who can understand and develop applications in the financial field to provide better tools for the needs of the financial department. Engineering students have difficulty grasping financial concepts and need good examples to supplement their learning. The main aim is to enhance students’ capability to think in design, choose appropriate visualizing tools, and represent data correctly and efficiently. The most challenging part is applying formulas from an unfamiliar area and calculating and showing data precisely. The development of such a software system and its integration into the curriculum of engineering students studying financial system development is explained. It was possible to combine different capital budgeting methods that simplified the application design during the development. A survey among students was conducted on the application’s value, which resulted in positive feedback.
