Comparing the long memory in volatility and asymmetric volatility of ASEAN ETFs, this research used four models, fractional autoregressive integrated moving average (ARFIMA), a hybrid of ARFIMA and fractionally integrated generalized autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity (ARFIMA-FIGARCH), ARFIMA with fractionally integrated asymmetric power autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity (ARFIMA-FIAPARCH) and ARFIMA with hyperbolic generalized autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity (ARFIMA-HYGARCH) models. The results show that by using closing price return data samples ASEAN ETF have a long memory in volatility and negative asymmetric volatility. ARFIMA-FIAPARCH model perform better to investigate long memory in volatility and asymmetric volatility for ASEAN ETF. This findings can be evaluated by academicians, financial risk managers, investors, and regulators.","PeriodicalId":243294,"journal":{"name":"International journal trade, economics and finance","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115017454","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Moreover, by utilizing BI senior managers are able to make better-informed decisions, guided by the integration of comprehensive information from all facets of an organization in real time. Further, the quality of corporate decision making is directly dependent upon the quality of data. Quality dimensions have proven to be of importance in evaluating how an organization understands and manages its data. Hence, in this study we employed the data quality model of Wang and Strong as our benchmark, and by questioning experts five additional factors (Usefulness, Efficiency, Availability, Navigation, and Usability) were added to the model to improve the reference model. Furthermore, the importance of these factors (and how they relate to each other, in terms of their dimensions) will be measured by the AHP method and an expert panel. Finally, we will reveal how the findings demonstrate that the intrinsic, contextual, representational and accessibility IQs in terms of their dimensions and reputation, accuracy, believability, and reliability, proved to be the most important factors..","PeriodicalId":243294,"journal":{"name":"International journal trade, economics and finance","volume":"303 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116332354","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Furthermore; with the fall of Lehman Brothers in September 2008, financial crisis evolved into a full-fledged global crisis and depressed the real economy. Central Banks have responded by altering interest rateconventional monetary policyinitially. But this was not enough to calm the financial markets down and revive the real economy. In this regard, major Central BanksFED, ECB, BOE and BOJhave begun to use liquidity support, asset purchases and forward guidance, namely unconventional monetary policies. They have expanded their balance sheets accordingly in order to relieve financial market stress and to revive the real economy. In this study, we explore the theoretical background of these policies and assess their effectiveness.","PeriodicalId":243294,"journal":{"name":"International journal trade, economics and finance","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131298068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through path analysis, the study determined factors with significant direct and indirect effects toward tourists’ word-of-mouth. These factors included culture, history and art; local cuisine; recreation and entertainment; safety and security; natural environment; negative attributes; infrastructure; and perceived price. Quantitative approach was majorly used, with statistical techniques applied including factor, multiple regression, and path analyses. Result of the research showed that all of eight factors had significant impact on Tourists’ Word-of-Mouth, in which Recreation and Entertainment had the strongest effect. There was also significant relationship between destination image and foreign tourists’ word-of-mouth. Through its finding and recommendations from tourists and tour guides, the research provided practical suggestions to improve Ho Chi Minh City’s tourism industry.","PeriodicalId":243294,"journal":{"name":"International journal trade, economics and finance","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127876671","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
