These SO are detected by chirp radar. Using linear frequency modulated (LFM) signals results in so-called range-Doppler coupling, which yields a displacement of measured position from a true range of moving SO. This effect may cause tracking failure therefore we present stability boundaries of the SO tracking. In addition, accuracy characteristics of the automatic range tracking algorithms estimating motion parameters of the reentering SO are evaluated.","PeriodicalId":242681,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Engineering and Telecommunication (EnT)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117074584","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are a lot of applications of this technology in many scientific fields all over the world. The paper focuses on scientific issues related to new application of GPS technology using the effect of Forward Scattering (FS) of electromagnetic waves to detect targets by their GPS radio shadows. The aim of the paper is to make experimental studies of GPS radio shadows of vehicle targets irradiated by GPS signals and to develop algorithm for automatic detection of the shadows of these targets. In this paper, we offer an original approach for using of CFAR techniques for detection of moving targets from GPS radio shadows. The results show that from GPS radio shadows of different objects can be extracted information for classification of objects aimed at transport management or security of zones.","PeriodicalId":242681,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Engineering and Telecommunication (EnT)","volume":"118 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124216710","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The LLVM infrastructure has an integrated UTL library containing implementation of analysis and optimization algorithms -- auto-parallelizing and vectorization in particular. Using benchmarks from the SPEC/CPU2006 test suite, the obtained solution is compared with a Linaro GCC compiler on an ARMv8 architecture multi-core processor and with GCC and Clang on a dual-core MIPS processor. The transformations implemented in the UTL allowed achieving a significant performance gain. Wireless devices generate the largest percentage of the Internet traffic and the Wi-Fi market is continuously raising, which brings new challenges connected with more devices, more data, and higher Quality of Experience expectations. Since todays Wi-Fi is inefficient in terms of these challenges, in 2013, IEEE LAN/MAN Standard Committee launched a new task group, which aims to improve Wi-Fi by 2019. In a short time, the group has attracted much attention from leading telecommunication manufacturers. In the paper, we observe activities of the group, paying much attention to the challenges and to those solutions, which have been proposed by November 2015.","PeriodicalId":242681,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Engineering and Telecommunication (EnT)","volume":"238 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122974583","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Accordingly, the level of requirements to a specialist in this area is constantly increasing, which in turn requires more time for training specialists in this field. At the same time, basic university courses in this area tend to be rather static and often do not reflect the new technological and scientific advances in this field. Considering shortage of time resources, it requires new forms of training students that intensify the process of training in the networking and telecommunications. One way to implement this process might be through usage of MOOC-platforms that provide students with access to high quality educational content. This article describes an example of such approach in the practice of Russian higher education and its evaluation.","PeriodicalId":242681,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Engineering and Telecommunication (EnT)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125628661","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
