In this paper, a dynamic algorithm is exploited to address T-S fuzzy systems identification on the basis of sparsity regularization. With a dynamic increase of fuzzy rules, this method automatically extracts fuzzy rules' antecedent part in a way of iterative vector quantization clustering and estimates the parameters of fuzzy rules' consequent part on the basis of sparsity regularization. In such a way, a minimal number of fuzzy rules and nonzero consequent parameters can be guaranteed in T-S fuzzy systems identification. This paper proposes one solution to the reconstruction of 3D model. It combines splatting methods with polygonalization to achieve most accurate 3D model of an indoor mobile robot environment with fast execution and rendering time. The main objective of the work, which was done as a part of ThermalMapper project, was to generate an accurate mesh of the indoor environment based on laser scans with added temperature scalars acquired by 6D SLAM method. This is useful for generating meshes of museums, buildings, tunnels, etc. which can be used for inspection and different analyses. Haar wavelet transform is the most commonly used and the simplest one. The Haar wavelet neural network (HWNN) applies the Harr wavelet transform as active functions. It is easy for HWNN to model a nonlinear system at multiple time scales and sudden transitions. In this paper, two types of HWNN, feedforward and recurrent wavelet neural networks, are used to model discrete-time nonlinear systems, which are in the forms of the NARMAX model and state-space model. We first propose an optimal method to determine the structure of HWNN. Then two stable learning algorithms are given for the shifting and broadening coefficients of the wavelet functions. The approach employs ontology for gesture-based interaction which was designed on three levels: user execution, system implementation, and gesture reflection. The ontology borrows concepts from several research communities interested in gestures such as human-computer interaction, pattern recognition, and cognitive psychology. Robot position can be calculated internally or acquired from an external system. This paper presents a software architecture of a vision-based robot tracking system that can provide precise position information as well as identification of many robots. The software architecture has been designed to take into consideration the need for a flexible and scalable system that can interoperate with many similar systems and support different types of image sources, image processing, and outputs. With the architecture, future enhancements or replacements can be implemented as plug-ins, which can be easily integrated into the system. Its distinguishing characteristic is a continuous, oscillating, almost sinusoidal, motion during visually-guided voluntary movement that increases in amplitude, becoming more apparent as the limb moves closer to a specific target, such as a cup. An emphasis is put on the maximization of the admissible Lipschitz constant for which the observer design is possible. This problem is tackled using a Takagi-Sugeno modeling approach. The idea is to rewrite the state estimation error dynamics as an autonomous Takagi-Sugeno system, using the Mean Value Theorem and the sector nonlinearity transformation. State estimation error dynamics stability is studied with the Lyapunov theory by choosing a non-quadratic Lyapunov function and by computing its variation between m consecutive samples. The interest of these manipulations is to obtain LMI conditions admitting solutions for large values of the Lipschitz constant. In this paper, we propose a new linguistic aggregation operator to deal with unbalanced linguistic values in group decision making. Based on 2-tuple representation model of linguistic values and linguistic hierarchies, we express unbalanced linguistic values. Moreover, we present the unbalanced linguistic ordered weighted geometric operator to aggregate unbalanced linguistic evaluation values. Some properties of the unbalanced linguistic ordered weighted geometric operator are also obtained.
