Following the numerical results, the physical features of the external MHD generator were drawn. One may conclude that the power output of the external MHD generator is capable of providing energy output up to 1.28MW under the typical reentry condition (flight height 46km, velocity7km/s). Under the MHD power extracting operation, the drag coefficient of the reentry vehicle is raised by 13. 7%, whereas the total wall heat flux varies mildly. However, the distribution of heat flux density in the MHD power extraction zone and downstream differs distinctly from that in the original N-S flow. The peak heat flux densities in the area occur at the tips of the electrodes.","PeriodicalId":239044,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133817150","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Security and privacy-preserving have become a bottleneck for VANETs’ future developing. There are few literatures about the architecture of VANETs privacy-protecting system. In this paper, we introduce a practical VANETs Privacy-Preserving System which aims to the prior location and identity privacy protecting. We propose the architecture and do some close analysis about that. The proposed system is based on the key technologies such as TP4RS protocol, and achieves some good features: the system not only can provide good identity and location privacy protecting for the vehicles, but also can be implemented and deployed well because of its practical design and expandability. To the best of our knowledge, our scheme is the first architecture design scheme for the practical VANETs privacy protecting system.","PeriodicalId":239044,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134229371","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, pediatric hospitals do not fully consider the child patients’ adaptation as they mainly focus on the treatment and prevention of disease. Therefore, Robot 'Mun' was proposed to help children's treatment process in order to provide a pleasant hospitalization experience in the children's hospital. In order to develop a robot for children certain supplementation sequence trial should be made in advance. Subsequently, Human–Robot Interaction (HRI) trial was held to actualize the Mun robot development process. Referred as HRI Human–robot interaction stands for the study of interactions between humans and robots. Human–robot interaction is a multidisciplinary field with contributions from artificial intelligence, human–computer interaction, robotics, natural language understanding, design, and social sciences. This study was conducted for the purpose of additional development and evaluation of the robot based on comparison of its Human–Robot Interaction (HRI). Eventually, the HRI results will be used to develop Mun robot before applying it to the clinical setting. Through this study a set of Godspeed Questionnaire Series was used to analyze and compare the robot perception regarding Nao robot and Mun robot.","PeriodicalId":239044,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134581245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The newly presented UPFC structure is based on indirect matrix converter (IMC) controlled by the space vector method (SVM). A non-linear modeling is accomplished for a sample power system possessing UPFC-IMC in order to investigate the affects of it on the dynamic stability. The linear model of the power system is then mentioned in state equations form defining system elements and linearizing the non-linear model around the operation point. A Heffron-Philips model is presented according to the mentioned state equations for the sample power system possesses UPFC-IMC. The RESs, constituting a MG, by nature have intermittent power output. Therefore, due to unpredictable uncertainties in power output of these systems it becomes very difficult for the conventional controllers to give satisfactory performance over a wide range and under different operating conditions. This paper addresses the problem of frequency regulation in an AC microgrid under variable wind speed and multiple random load disturbances and proposes a fuzzy gain scheduled proportional-integralderivative (FGSPID) controller to withstand these uncertainties and disturbances and provide an improved performance. For comparative analysis, the conventional PID controller is also implemented on the same microgrid system. Simulation results clearly indicate significant improvement in the frequency regulation of the microgrid system with FGSPID controller as compared to conventional PID controller. Therefore, the disturbances in the input voltages can propagate onto the output side and degrade or even deteriorate the performance of motor load. This paper investigates the behavior of MC and its influence to the performance of induction motor under unbalanced input condition. A feed-forward compensation technique to eliminate the output voltage distortion of MC and ensure the proper operation of induction motor under unbalance is then proposed. With respect to wall climbing robots, the study proposed a stable operation structure even in rapid incline change of vessel surface. Since the wheel-based operating method is hard to work flexibly in inclination changes, we employed joints and designed the robot to have a rotation joint in the center. The arrangement of wheels is an important aspect of this structure. Viewed from the side, the robot wheels should overlap with each other to have intersection points. The wheels here are ring-type permanent magnets and serve as a tool of attachment on walls. Based on the conditions identified through formula modeling, we proposed the required magnetic force. Important factors needed for magnetic force setup include platform weight, angle between ground and inclined plane, and friction coefficient. We considered only the required magnetic force for the stable adhesion of circular magnet while making not a separate mention about the necessary force for directional locomotion. The analysis results of ANSYS Maxwell are applied to magnetic attachment. Based on the final analysis results, we built a platform and found it did not slip and stayed attached on steel plate. The proposed method uses a neuronal network called NeuraBase to learn the sensor events obtained via a rotary encoder and to control the motor events of two DC motors, to rotate the manipulator. A neuron layer called the controller network links the sensor neuron events to the motor neurons. The proposed NeuraBase network model (NNM) has demonstrated its ability to successfully control the antagonistic muscle manipulator, in the absence of a dynamic model and theoretical control methods.
