The researcher applied quasi-experimental research design. The samples of this research were 64 students, which were divided into 33 students of class X MIPA 2 as the experimental group and 31 students of class X MIPA 1 as the control group. The samples were selected use purposive sampling technique. The data were collected through the reading test that consisted of pre-test and post-test. The result of the pre-test shows that the mean score of the experimental group is 45.33 while the mean score of the control group is 49.68. This demonstrated that the pre-test mean score of the experimental group were lower compared to the control group. After conducting the treatment, the result of the post-test shows that the mean score of the experimental group is 71.76 while the mean score of the control group is 59.87 It indicates that the experimental group has shown improvement in their reading comprehension compared to the control group. By applying 62 degree of freedom (df) and 0.05 level of significance, it can be seen that the t-counted (9.20) is higher than the ttable (1.999). This research is mixed method research. The subject of research was the tenth-grade students of SMAN 5 Palu. The techniques for collecting the data are interviews and tests. The researchers present the data from the difficulties in comprehending English reading text. The result of the research shows that 13, 33% of students have difficulties in understanding to look for the text's central idea, with an incorrect total of 8. Then, 41, 67% of students have difficulties in understanding vocabulary of the text, with the total of incorrect is 25. Then, there are 8, 33% of students who have difficulties in understanding to look for the detail information of the text, with the total incorrect is 5. Next, there are 36, 67% of students who have difficulties in understanding making inferences of the text with the total of incorrect is 22. This research will apply a qualitative descriptive design. Therefore, to find out the learning strategies applied by successful speaking students, the subjects in this research were students of Tadulako University, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, class C English Education 2018. This research aims to determine the learning strategies used by successful EFL students in speaking English. The subject of this research is students who get grades B+ to A in speaking four; 15 participants were obtained from DPNA and used the purposive sampling technique, and respondents who had good answers continued to the interview stage. This interview stage uses a snowball sampling research technique. Data collection uses a google forms questionnaire and interviews. As for the strategies, There are five strategies that the researcher obtained through interviews and from the 15 statements in the questionnaire, two strategies became the dominant strategy used. Alkhairaat Biromaru. This is classroom action research. The object of this research is the second-year students of MA. Alkhairaat Biromaru consisting 21 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. The researchers used tests, observation for teachers and students, and LKS (project paper activity) to collect the data. The test research results show that the students’ writing skills in personal letters by mastering the structure of the text can be improved from the first cycle to the second one. The students’ test results can prove it in the first cycle, the classical competence percentage is 47,61%, and the classical absorption presentation is 60,95% can be improved to 85,71% for classical competence presentation and 83,33% for classical absorption presentation in cycle II. The researcher used a quasi-experimental research design. The population of this research was the eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Dampal Selatan, consisting of 3 classes. The sample was chosen using a random sampling technique to select an experimental and control group. The samples were class VIII B as the experimental group and class VIII c as the control group. The pretest result showed that the experimental group's mean score was 47.91, while the control group's was 48.75. The mean score of the experimental group on the posttest was significantly improved from 47.91 to 76.25. Furthermore, the result of the data analysis showed that the t-counted value of 2.82 was higher than the t-table value of 2.02 by applying a 0.05 level of significance and 38 degrees of freedom. Therefore, the hypothesis of this research was accepted. This research applied a quasi-experimental research design. The research sample was Eight D as the experimental group, which consisted of 25 students, and Eight A as the control group, which consisted of 27 students. The instrument used in collecting the data were pre-test and post-test. The treatment was given six times. The data were analyzed statistically to determine the difference between the pre-test and post-test. As a result of the study, the mean score of the experimental group taught by applying webbing strategy was improved compared to the control group taught without applying webbing strategy. It applied correlation research with a quantitative data approach. Students of Class VII-A, which consisted of twenty-five students, were selected as the sample for this research using the purposive sampling technique. The instruments of this research were questionnaires, vocabulary tests, and the SPSS 26th version. The result of data analysis using the correlation coefficient product moment and SPSS 26th indicated the relationship between students' habit in watching English movies and vocabulary is positive in the high category of relationship (0,702) with a significant level (α = 0.05). Then, comparing the value of the r-counted, which is higher than the r-table, indicates that students' habits of watching English movies contribute to their vocabulary. This research is qualitative descriptive. The subject was selected by using purposive sampling. The subject of the research was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Palu consisting of 30 students. The techniques for collecting the data were tests and questionnaires. The researcher used the technique of analyzing the data from Ellis and Barkhuizen. The steps to analyze the data were collecting data, identification, description, explanation, and evaluation. The result indicates four types of errors namely omission, addition, misformation, and misordering. The most frequent error made by the student was omission and the least frequent error was misordering. A qualitative approach was used in this research. The subject was the grade VII students at SMPN 2 Dapurang Pasangkayu who have experienced using the Fast Vocabulary Game. The instruments used were questionnaires and interview questions. There were nine questions in the questionnaires filled out by five respondents. Two informants answered five questions in the interview. The result indicates that students' perception of learning English vocabulary through Fast Vocabulary is dominantly positive. Learning English vocabulary using the game is easy, enjoyable, fun, and accessible as long as an internet connection is available. The vocabulary that is available in the game is easy to understand.
