It is found that although most of designers prefer episodic precedents than semantic ones, the two kinds of precedents can help designers in different design phases. When creating initial ideas, episodic precedents help designers to generate more design concepts; when refining ideas, semantic precedents help to make ideas more complete and reasonable. Based on the above discovery, it is suggested that to produce design plans more efficiently, designers refer to suitable precedents in the different design phases.","PeriodicalId":236797,"journal":{"name":"2020 13th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Design (ISCID)","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123213203","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to fully utilize the advantages of these two framework, this paper proposed a robust single-object visual tracking framework based on fully convolutional siamese network and correlation filter. Two branches are constructed in this network, namely training template branch and searching template branch, which are share the convolutional layer parameters. Each branch is divided into two sub-branches. In the sub-branches of the training template, two correlation filtering layers are embedded to replace the traditional convolutional layer. Finally, the location of object to be tracked is calculated by constructing response graph. Extensive experiments on challenging benchmark show that the tracking framework in this paper can further improve the accuracy.","PeriodicalId":236797,"journal":{"name":"2020 13th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Design (ISCID)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126506950","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, we proposed a method for analyzing plantar pressure images based on prior knowledge. The proposed method includes data preprocessing, footprint recognition and segmentation, and stride analysis. First, the clustering algorithm was used to extract the footprints; Then, the footprints were recognized based on shape features and segmented based on foot anatomical features. Finally, the least square method was used to stride analysis. Experimental results show that the proposed method has good performance in footprint recognition and segmentation. In this paper, we proposed a new motion representation whose hint is from optical flow algorithms which have been proved to be effective and efficient in the aspect of video action recognition. Our motion flow is one kind of modality which is different from RGB, RGB diff, and the most popular optical flow, although the methodology is derived from the optical flow, it is faster and more accurate than optical flow algorithms. Furthermore, we introduced the most excellent convolutional neural network framework named densely connected convolutional networks (DenseNet) to optimize the networks and we use the motion flow as the inputs of the framework. We achieve experimental evaluations, when the proposed motion representation is plugged into the DenseNet framework, the accuracy on the UCF-101 and HMDB-51 is 96% and 74.2% respectively, which turn out to be our proposed methodology is satisfactory and 15 times faster in speed.","PeriodicalId":236797,"journal":{"name":"2020 13th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Design (ISCID)","volume":"249 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134312995","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, emotional theories are adopted to demonstrate the relationship between children’s affects and product design. Products which arouse positive emotions can prompt children to learn from playing. In this paper, a case study with field research is integrally introduced to identify users’ emotional responses to existing products, user’s concerns and idea generation. Then this paper illustrates product’s three types of stimuli in affective design and analyzes user’s emotion evaluation. The goal of this paper is to illustrate how affective design is applied into children products through a case study. By means of theoretical framework and practical design, conclusions of affective design in the case of toy storage product are generalized.","PeriodicalId":236797,"journal":{"name":"2020 13th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Design (ISCID)","volume":"189 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133202065","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
