However, rendering both high-quality and realtime simulations for fluid dynamics are rather challenging tasks due to their intensive computations. So, in order to speed up the simulations, we have taken advantage of GPU acceleration techniques to simulate interactive fluid thermodynamics in real-time. In this paper, we present an elegant, basic, but practical OpenGL/SL framework for fluid simulation with a heat map rendering. By solving Navier-Stokes equations coupled with the heat diffusion equation, we validate our framework through some real-case studies of the smoke-like fluid rendering such as their interactions with moving obstacles and their heat diffusion effects. As shown in Fig. 1, a group of experimental results demonstrates that our GPU-accelerated solver of Navier-Stokes equations with heat transfer could give the observers impressive real-time and realistic rendering results.","PeriodicalId":236626,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computer Graphics & Animation","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132732436","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The user can select online the preferred object by learning the configurator to optimize the 3D object features. A Support Vector Machine -SVMalgorithm adopting XGBoost approach, improved affect computing, user navigation experience and Visual Merchandising – VMapproach, all elements which support the creation of new object having the best effective features. The intelligent self-learning platform is designed for the real time construction of 3D CAD objects and integrates different user facilities such as augmented reality, web plugin, and WebGL graphical libraries. The proposed work follows the research and development -R&Dguidelines of ‘Frascati’ manual concerning new search engine as research topic and summarize the result of an industry research project.","PeriodicalId":236626,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computer Graphics & Animation","volume":"133 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123576084","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, the visual style of The Adventures of Tintin is significantly different to the now dominant cartoon stylisation that continues to develop in studios such as Disney, PIXAR and many others. Disney inspired cartoon stylised films, such as Frozen, continue to engage audiences around the world; receiving relatively little criticism for their visual style. Hyper-realistic animation, however, has struggled to achieve the same widespread acceptance. Many people continue to find hyper-realistic characters less engaging than cartoon characters and at times even find them to be somewhat repulsive. Via close analysis of The Adventures of Tintin, this paper illuminates the significance of establishing visual harmony between the elements of shape, surface and motion to sustain appealing and believable hyper-realistic characters.","PeriodicalId":236626,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computer Graphics & Animation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131055640","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By adhering to these fundamental principles of animation, Animators have been able to successfully extend the Disney style of motion to the 3D CG medium. This paper goes beyond Disney style motion and examines the adaptation of techniques typically seen in more extreme cartoon-style motion and “pushed posing”, exemplified by early Warner Brothers animated short films. This is achieved via an analysis of Hotel Transylvania by Sony Pictures Animation, which features a stylised form of animation adapted from the extended principles of extreme cartoon-style motion to the 3D medium.","PeriodicalId":236626,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computer Graphics & Animation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129286657","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
