Priymak","doi":"10.18323/2073-5073-2019-2-34-42","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18323/2073-5073-2019-2-34-42","url":null,"abstract":": The increasing interest in the process of friction welding is associated with the wide spreading of this technology at the enterprises of mechanical engineering due to the technological advantages of this method and the high qua-lity of welded joints of the similar and dissimilar metals and alloys. Rotary friction welding (RFW) is one of the types of welding using friction heating and is used for parts having the shape of a cylinder or a pipe. The main technological parameters of the RFW process are the force during heating, forging force, the rotation frequency during heating, and the burning-off length. All parameters are interconnected and influence the process of formation and the properties of a welded joint. The paper stud ies the influence of forging pressure on microhardness, tensile properties, and microstructure of welded joints from 32-2-Mn and 40-Cr-Ni steels. The authors analyzed the phase transformations occurring in the materials to be welded as a result of high temperature and deformation effects. The study showed the change in the length of the thermomechanically affected zone (TMAZ) depending on forging pressure. The results of microhardness distribution along the weld seam illustrate the formation of hardened and weakened zones. The detailed study of its mechanical properties is important both for understanding the mechanism of injury production and for developing the optimal designs for osteosynthesis, prosthetics, and replacement of bone defects. The study of mechanical behavior of the trabecular bone under the cyclic loading is fundamental for the formation of current approaches to the prevention, as well as to the conservative and surgical treatment of fractures, as the bone tissue has different strength in different parts of the skeleton. The authors studied the uniaxial compression deformation behavior using five cylindrical specimens made from fragments of the trabecular bone tissue of lateral condyle of the tibia. The ratios of elastic and nonreversible deformations in the trabecular bone tissue of the subchondral area of the tibia under the uniaxial compression were investigated depending on the magnitude of the applied load and the total deformation. The authors carried out phased loading with the step of 0.5 % to 10 % of deformation and then with the step of 1 % to 15 % of deformation. The study showed that the trabecular bone is deformable both elastically and plastically. The elastic properties of bone tissue slightly decrease only with the appearance of macroscopic cracks in the sample. Thanks to the high porosity (30–90 %) and organic components, the trabecular bone is significantly deformable. The deformation of less than ~3 % is elastic and, therefore, does not lead to nonreversible changes in the trabecular bone tissue. This problem is a problem of vibration resistance and is solved mainly for the attachments, which is mounted to the body of a vehicle. These attachments can be the mechanisms, anten-nas, locks, explosive charges, electrical actuators, telemetry transmitters, devices, and assemblies of a spacecraft. In addi-tion to the above mentioned the elements of fastening equipment: fittings, landing planes, brackets, and flanges may be an object of consideration as well. The goal of the study is the description of the calculation of the loads (dynamic analysis) for the onboard equipment of a spacecraft in the flight segment as a part of a space rocket. The weakness and low reliability of cutters prove the necessity in the elements with the defined properties within the cutting tools structure. The shape of the cutting element supporting surface influences the specified properties of cutting tool parts. The author considered the shape of a profile of cutting element supporting surface in the form of two irregularities located at a dis-tance of waviness step (in the form of oil pockets). The profile shape is considered as a stress concentrator. According to the decrease in the concentrator durability period, the study determined which parameters influence the durability. Cutting element reacts to the cutting force load and transmits it to other parts of a cutting tool through its base and fastening nodes.
