In this study, all factors that may affect NAFLD, including IGF-1 level and IGF-1 SDS, were evaluated in two groups of children who were not statistically different from each other in terms of age, gender, weight, height, body mass index and puberty. This study was a cross sectional study. 36 children with evidence of fatty liver disease on ultrasound imaging and 38 children without it were included in the study. Anthropometric data, laboratory measurements and radiological results of all participants were evaluated. All factors that could affect NAFLD were evaluated by binary logistic regression analysis. Weight, weight SDS, body mass index (BMI) SDS, homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), AST, ALT, GGT, uric acid, triglyceride, HDLcholesterol, IGF-1, IGF-1 SDS were evaluated in this model to predict NAFLD. In the statistical model, the percentage of predicting those with NAFLD, that is, the sensitivity, was 88.9%, while the detection rate of those without NAFLD, that is, the specificity, was 94.7%. IGF-1 level was found to be significantly lower in the group with NAFLD (p: 0.04), but there was no significant difference between the groups in terms of IGF-1 SDS (p: 0.10). There are conflicting results in studies examining the relationship between IGF-1 SDS and NAFLD. This may be due to ethnicity, regional differences, kit-specific laboratory reference ranges, or method of measurement. Laboratory measurements including appropriate parameters with a detailed physical examination can be used to predict the presence of NAFLD without the need for radiological examination.

Neural tube defects are among the most common congenital malformations of the central nervous system. It is known that genetic predisposition, environmental factors, and some drugs play an important role in the development of neural tube defects. Ondansetron is a selective 5-hydroxytryptamine-3 receptor antagonist used in the treatment of cancer, nausea, and vomiting during pregnancy and after anesthesia. In the literature studies, it was not found that developmental anomalies were observed. Seventy-five free specific pathogen eggs were incubated for 32 hours and divided into five groups of 15 eggs each, including a control group. Ondansetron was administered to these five groups by sub-blastoderm route in 4 different doses with a Hamilton microinjector. At 48 hours of incubation, the embryos were dissected and examined morphologically and histopathologically. At the end of the study, a significant dose-dependent decrease was observed in crown-rump lengths, somite numbers, and mean the number of silver-dyed nucleolar regulatory regions (AgNOR) and total AgNOR / nuclear area ratios. Statistically significant differences were observed between the experimental groups in terms of neural tube closure (p <0.05). Ondansetron has been shown to affect neuronal development and vertebral growth in chicken embryos depending on increasing doses.

The financial effects of\u0000the event on these businesses were studied with a focus on whether sales increase or\u0000decrease during the Festival. The influence of three important factors was examined;\u0000business strategy, location of business and type of business on local businesses’ sales\u0000during festivals. The study assessed the impact of specific location and the effect of\u0000these festivals on different types of businesses. It uncovers the influence of such\u0000events on businesses, particularly on their sales. Overall, such festivals have positive\u0000financial effects on all local business, except a few, which are further explored in the\u0000study.\u0000Methodology- The study adopts a qualitative research method in order to obtain a\u0000deeper knowledge of how local businesses take advantage of events and festivals.\u0000Primary data has been gathered by interviewing local businesses and respondents\u0000from Peace & Love Festival. In total, 22 retailers were approached and interviewed.\u0000Non-probability, purposive sampling was used for the research in determining the\u0000sample population. Semi-structured, face-to-face interviews were conducted with\u0000respondents. The collected data was documented and analysed using interpretivist\u0000paradigm and content analysis.\u0000Findings- The results indicate that various types of businesses experience different\u0000sales effects during such festivals. Location of retail outlets and their effective\u0000strategies influence sales. Findings also show that hotels, fast food restaurants, and\u0000beverage sectors show higher sales as compared to other sectors. The retail stores\u0000showed slight increase in sales, but electronics/appliances stores experienced almost\u0000no change, and some even showed negative sales.\u0000Practical Implication- Businesses can take maximum advantages of such events and\u0000enhance their revenue by adopting different strategies. Governments can take\u0000advantage of such studies, and promote festivals as they have influential power on\u0000attracting large number of visitors towards the host destination.

Social networking technologies play a vital role in the\u0000growth and learning of individuals and organizations in today’s competitive\u0000business environment. Recently, advancement in social networking technologies has\u0000brought a paradigm shift in the overall business environment and specific\u0000operational requirements. This study aimed to investigate the role of social\u0000networking (SN) between knowledge donating behaviour (KD) and employees’\u0000productivity (EP).\u0000Methodology: For this purpose, data were gathered from targeted respondents\u0000belonged to the Universities and Banks located in the Northern Punjab region of\u0000Pakistan.
